He told me it felt like he had strep so I wanted to get him in for a strep culture right away since he's leaving for camp this next weekend. Unfortunately, our pediatrician was fully booked for the day so I looked for options for a pediatric immediate care. Admittedly I was a little worried about the negative reviews on Yelp, but figured how hard could a strep culture be. And it ended up being a positive experience. I booked the first appointment of the day online, which was for 10am. I hoped this would prevent us from sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of sick kids on a Monday morning. When we got there we were the only people there. Hurray! I filled out the paperwork on my phone (relatively easy) and then we were called back to see the nurse and then nurse practitioner. The nurse took his temp, vitals and strep test. 10 min later the NP walked in and pronounced him strep free! She said it looked like a cold and gave us some recommendations (rest, fluids, inhaler for his asthma, etc). The whole thing took about 30 min from when we first walked into the office. They are open until 10pm, but told me their Morton Grove office is open until midnight which is good to know since those sick scares often happen late at night.

A staff member then called my name and said they were trying to clear the board and asked if I wanted to move my appointment to an online visit instead. She told me they'd still be able to look inside my ear virtually. I said I preferred to be seen in person and didn't mind waiting. She told me I was next in line but that the wait would be 30-45 minutes. Again, I said I was fine waiting. I didn't appreciate her attitude or find her particularly friendly. I also don't really understand how looking inside an ear virtually is supposed to be better than an in-person examination. I also only ended up waiting about 8 minutes Overall, the staff experience was just ok. I expected a little more professionalism and friendliness. The doctor I saw, however, was really good

Nesset Pavillion has been home base for our medical needs for many years now. We are very pleased…read morewith the services, staff, and the facility itself. I only started this review as I saw this Yelp site, but really the review is more about the Advocate Medical Group housed here (and they have their own Yelp review site). There's not much more to say about the facility itself except it's convenient with good hours, and has a big convenient parking lot that is often filled! Our PCP, Dr. Ellen Aleksandrovich, is the best and she is very competent, caring, communicative, proactive, and empathetic to the patient's needs. Their systems also work great and responsively without long waits - systems meaning phone calls or messages, their PA staff, their website which is used for both medical info storage as well as messaging, their billing and payments system, their appointment scheduling, their lab appointments system and staff, etc. They also have several specialists based here that we see, and they have the same support system. We routinely get bloodwork and sometimes imaging done here. They are part of the Advocate Medical Group and in turn associated directly with the excellent Advocate Lutheran General Hospital nearby. In our experience, it's a big thumbs up for Nesset Pavillion and the Advocate Medical Group staff here.

I was forced to go because I ran out of a script & they told me I had to see the doctor first before I could get it refilled. I would just as soon take none of these drugs (I mean I'm not even getting high from them ) As it turns out its been over 1 year since my last physical so I figured I might as well have the tests done. I guess the fact that I have insurance they figured out they might as well order everything deluxe and do Lab Tests, EKG, Ultrasound (Am I pregnant ?). Anyway 2 hrs seems a bit excessive. The attending resident doctor did a very good job and was very through, but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired. When I arrived the girl asked me if I could hold on for a minute. I waited for about 5 minutes and finally realized there were a couple of other people that could have checked me in. When I left there were only 2 people. As I walked out the first person just walked away and didn't say anything so I checked out with the other person.

The Center for Advanced Care also includes LGH's Caldwell Breast Center which does mammograms, ultrasounds, etc for women, and which she also utilizes annually. Fortunately we don't need to visit very often here otherwise but it is nice and convenient to have this facility and its specialized services so close to home and with easy, free garage parking and access. Staffers are great and the whole operation is well organized. Big thumbs up, but don't come here without insurance coverage unless you want to go under, eeek!

We were lucky to have the care of Dr DiVincenzo who stabilized our son's breathing and we thankfully avoided the ER. Super compassionate care from start to finish and my kid loved that Peppa the Pig was playing in the lobby. This kid centered urgent care made the whole experience a lot less scary.

Close to 6 pm and the NP finally came. I opened our exam room door cause it was getting uncomfortable and I wanted to know what time can someone be in. I wouldn't have minded waiting but the condescending tone of one of the employees there was surprising considering we are there for help as well. The last thing a parent needs with a child in need, is that type of reaction. It's very stressful on both ends although there could be more training in communication for that employee in these situations. Otherwise the NP and the front desk were warm and knowledgeable.

Fraudulent Charges!!…read more On February 24, we sent a message to a doctor who helped our son with a broken finger. We sent the message to check whether we could cancel a follow-up visit that seemed unnecessary to us, and the doctor replied that it would be fine to cancel. A few days later, we received a bill for sending that message. In all the years we have used Endeavor, we have never been charged for sending messages. And nowhere on the web portal does it indicate that customers will be charged for sending a message to their doctor. I called Endeavor and a representative said this is a new policy. I explained that we were never charged before, and there is no indication anywhere on the site that we would be charged for sending a message, but the representative said the charge stands. I have lodged complaints with various state agencies, and have left reviews detailing this unethical behavior. This is terrible, awful service that only encourages patients NOT to reach out to their doctors with concerns.

Dr. Carlino was a skilled physician, and Nurse Gilbert was a wonderful nurse. They worked well together, and they always made sure that I was comfortable and well-cared for.
