There are two television for your entertainment, both have closed caption. This is a doctor's office so patients is a valuable quality. Your name is called, you are escorted to the offices in the back. Once you're done you will go to the front checkout and you're given other information pertaining to your visit or appointment. If you need forms filled, submit them before you leave and ask for them to be emailed and check your spam folder if you don't receive the request documents. (LOOK FOR SIGNS ON EXIT from the examine room). I find that early appointments, before 10 a.m is better. Even though there is a huge parking lot. There's a physical therapy office around the corner to your left as you walk in and there's 2 other offices that you will pass when driving in. That being said, you'll search for parking if you get there by 9:45.

Let me start by stating that the front desk staff are awesome. They deserve six stars. They…read morerecognize old and new faces and are eager to help newbies, like myself get checked in efficiently and with such kindness. They also go over any concerns you have if you ask about it and try to address them prior to. I was worried about dehydration and my kidneys with my first time doing IV Contrast. The nurse took my blood to test my creatinine levels and as a precaution gave me a salene dose pre and post IV contrast. The one star is for what happened on the other side of the door. I was there for a brain scan to rule out something. On the forms and every time I spoke with a nurse or an MRI technician I mentioned that I have rods in my back, to forewarn about pre-existing medical issues. After the scan, I was waiting for the male nurse who got me situated with the machine to finish up putting things away so I could have his arm for an assist in getting up off the table safely and to avoid hitting my head on the mould (to secure my head during the MRI) around it. A female nurse came in and asked me if I needed help getting up. I said, "Yeah, I have a bad back and I get dizzy." That right there was her first clue. She put out her arm and I trusted that her as a healthcare professional would know what to do. NOPE. I grabbed her arm and she pulled me up quickly at a 90° angle and I screamed in agony and then she dropped me back down to the table. Immediately since, I have been experiencing new issues; significant loss of motion, increased pain, and my back buckles when I walk nowadays. It's the scariest thing. I'm pretty sure she tore something like my gluteus. I don't know for sure and I just recently (few weeks ago) had my back and pelvis scanned. Do they have any idea how difficult it will be to request another one shortly after? My range of motion prior to visiting on 11/12/24 was really good (in consideration of my pre-existing back issues). Now, I can't walk without extreme pain and stiffness. I can't sit and scooch to one side without tremendous pain. I can't lie down on the side that was affected by her pulling me up without being in agony. I can't sleep without waking up to pain each night. My walking step strides went from average steps to baby steps with additional new pain. She knows who she is if she reads this and though it was unintentional and an accident there are some basic fundamentals she should know prior to working in a place that has people coming and going with all sorts of issues.... NEVER LEAD WHEN YOU'RE THE ASSIST. Her arm was supposed to be there for support, not as the pull. I rotated to the side and used the male nurses arm after that snafu and he did it right. He didn't try to move me any which way and just allowed me to get up at my pace. Happy scans!

Melissa started my IV. I never felt a pinch. It was magical. Melissa has a soft touch. Gennaro & Arley were the techs who performed my test. They made sure my back was comfortable & were very patient with me. Gennaro spoke to me throughout the test. He let me know I was doing the breathing correctly. That helped clear my anxiety. Arley was a big help sitting me up after the test. She put a great pressure wrap on me since I take blood thinners. My experience was amazing. This crew of employees were outstanding, professional, caring, & kind. They are an asset to NYU Langone. I thank you guys for the great care I received.

I don't understand the delay. These images were to confirm/deny something very obvious. It's not ethical to cause undo anxiety to people awaiting test results. If this facility is so backed up and under staffed that their patient's results cannot be read in a timely manner I will surely go elsewhere in the future and advise family and friends to do likewise.

The reason being when I waited for couple days and still not getting my result I called them, they gave me such a hard time on the phone. They told me that my Dr. has to call them to request the copy in a very rude way!! very disappointed by their customer service or maybe the receptionist.

I was given a clean smock to wear, sat down with a friendly nurse to get the IV in my arm, and as I went in the big tube, the MD was in full communication with me to ensure that I was comfortable and that nothing was going wrong. In the end I was given a CD so I could see the results (even though I wouldn't be able to interpret the results/data with my BS in political science), but I can't seem to get any images to show on my computer.

This lab recently opened as an en-suite option to serve patients within the Optum medical complex…read more I have been here twice so far, and each time the room is staffed by just one phlebotomist who also services sign-ins and registrations at the front desk. While the staff have always been pleasant, the wait times have been extremely high. Upon finishing my appointment with my primary care provider next door, I was sent to the small suite for blood labs and waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seen, making this a 2-hour appointment for a routine prescription refill. On evenings when the lab is closed, blood is drawn during the appointment with a doctor, which seems more efficient. There are several draw stations within the lab, but they are not curtained and I made eye contact with someone in the waiting area while blood left my arm. I'm not shy or squeamish when it comes to blood, but this seems like an overlooked courtesy. There were also sterilization pad wrappers from a previous patient left at my draw station, and the openness of the materials (vials, syringes, needles, waste bins) makes this feel not just like a blood farm, but a liability. 3 stars are solely to the patient, kind phlebotomists doing what they can to shuffle the blood cattle along without any assistance.

What was most upsetting was how impatient and insensitive she was with my autistic son. She made no effort to understand or accommodate his needs, which is unacceptable in any pediatric setting. Her cold and unprofessional attitude made an already stressful situation worse. I will not be bringing my child back, and I would not recommend her to any parent-- especially those with children who require a bit more compassion and patience.
