As long as I didn't have a surgery booked, I could cancel. I was greatful for the honesty of the Doctor. When I called about getting a refund (I had paid in full) the real help, came from a nice lady named Tina, from Warrick, Rhode Island, who called me! Tina helped me in securing my entire refund!! I'm 36 and have been dealing with hormonal acne that has worsened over the past few months, particularly around my menstrual cycle. I went to my PCP and was falsely diagnosed with a staph infection on my face. I was provided ointment which my face then had an allergic reaction to. I was referred to dermatology, but in the meantime reached out to Kim and she talked me off the ledge. She correctly diagnosed me with rosacea and perioral dermatitis and assured that she could help. Girl was she right! I was enrolled in the Face Reality program and it started to help IMMEDIATELY. Karina has been extremely thorough in finding exactly the right products for my face, and it has calmed down miraculously in just 6 weeks. She hasn't been afraid to change the plan immediately when my face was reacting a little funky to the toner. I have a solid plan now that is easy to adhere to. Dermatology ended up prescribing heavy medications that evidently would have been MUCH too harsh for my sensitivo skin and I'm so glad I listened to Kim and Karina instead. Usually around my menstrual cycle I break out in cystic acne but this past cycle I had one tiny pimple. I'm much less red and feeling confident and less stressed about the whole ordeal. He seemed very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Dr. Lim took a great deal of extra time to answer many of my questions, (and I did have many since I researched everything I could about my condition, after all we are talking about my face and eyeball here) and he also cared about educating the patient about conditions, surgeries and medications. He actually showed that he cares about the patient's well-being as opposed to some other doctors which even don't have the patience to care at all and that was quite welcoming and I was very comfortable in conversing with Dr. Lim. He told me that I didn't need surgery, (some doctors may have pushed for the procedure being done to get paid) and if I ever do needed to have any plastics surgery in the future then for sure I will go back and talk with him again about it. I highly recommend Dr, Alan Lim if you are looking for someone in his field of medicine. He's a straight-up shooter, a good guy and a great doctor.

The biggest issue was the L&D & Mother/Baby unit after delivery. My newborn and I were placed in a room that was only 68 degrees. We were told there were no other rooms available, the solution was to give us extra blankets. We had to wait approximately 36 hours before we were moved to a room with an appropriate temperature. Recovering from childbirth while trying to care for a newborn in a cold room was incredibly stressful. I was also shocked by the cleanliness of the hospital. The postpartum room did not appear clean when we arrived. During my stay, the trash was not emptied daily, and the floors were never mopped. For a labor and delivery unit caring for mothers and newborns, I expected much better sanitation. While a few staff members were kind, my overall experience in both Labor & Delivery and the Mother/Baby unit did not meet the standard I expected. One experience that has stayed with me involved the nurse who introduced herself as Lindsey. She attempted to place my IV before my C-section and was unsuccessful after five attempts between both of my arms. At that point, I politely asked if someone else could try. Instead of responding with understanding, she appeared upset, gave me attitude, and slammed an item before leaving the room. It was an incredibly vulnerable moment for me, and I was shocked by how I felt I was treated. Even if a procedure is difficult, patients deserve compassion and professionalism, especially during childbirth.

You can tell just by how she speaks that she is incredibly educated and experienced in what she does and also passionate about her clients. My tattoo was ruined when I got laser hair removal here. When Rose went over my tattoo I told her it hurt a lot and she denied that she made a mistake and went over my tattoo. It burned soooo badly but Rose still acted as if nothing was wrong. Rose ended up calling me and leaving me a voicemail apologizing for going over my tattoo. But she never admitted to her mistake or said sorry to me in person. The next few weeks I continued to take pictures of my tattoo and sent them to the manager. My tattoo was ruined because the laser hair removal machine is not supposed to be used over tattoos. Management handled this incident terribly. They originally told me they would take care of the cost for fixing my tattoo. I saw a few tattoo artists and they said they won't tattoo over fresh burns. So I waited 2 years to finally get it fixed. I reached out to management again and they have been consistently ignoring me. To make my experience even worse, every time I had an appointment, I had a different person. This place is not organized at all and there was zero communication between each other. So each session they were using the exact same settings. So laser hair removal didn't even fucking work for me. All I got out of this place was a ruined tattoo. Do NOT go here for laser hair removal unless you want to waste a ton of money. I waited a long time to post this review- I wanted to write this as soon as the incident happened but I decided to give this company a chance to make things right with me. But they have been ignoring me for months now and refuse to pay me for the tattoo that I had to get fixed.

She said we had to make a new appointment to get the prescription, which obviously was their plan all along so they can charge us another $50 co-payment and invoice a fortune to our insurrance. I would stay away from this scam dermatologist obviously abusing the system.

Anyway, I thanked her and said " you should be kind with people". My point is, unless you have been there before don't go! They don't have patience to talk to you properly. And I like that too. While I was there, I saw a bunch of women come out with various levels of skin Services done. Somebody had a very red face from some kind of micro needling or something, and somebody else had a very deep cleansing facial. Both looked thrilled and I will also say that everybody who worked there I had amazing skin. So that made me feel comfortable as well. It is on the second floor. I don't know if that means anything to anybody, but I found going up the stairs easier, not sure if there was an elevator. The only thing I will say? Is it a little... Sterile?
