We're OK with holding kids to a high standard, but these folks take that to an extreme. Favoritism is also a big issue. The owner and her daughter favor those students whose parents are wealthy. Want a big part in The Nutcracker performance? Then donate some money, and you are golden. This issue did not impact our daughter, but we saw several families leave Leggz because their children were passed over - despite strong dance skills.

However, it was the phenomenal SoHo Rhythm Band that made the magic at the wedding. Their talent and energy had the dance floor full from the first to the very last note. Our guests could not get enough, singing, dancing and laughing non stop for hours! It was an amazing evening, thanks to this incredible band. Over and over again, our guests came up to us and told us that SoHo Rhythm band is by far the best band they had heard play at any event. We definitely have to agree!

I have used Play twice and this second time things did not go as good…read more I chose Play-It Productions because they are located in Manhattan so I could walk in and out avoiding paying for shipping fees. The quote I received said "shipping charges not included" so my assumption was since I am dropping my masters and picking them up there will be none. They added a shipping fee because their duplication house is located in Long Island and the CD needed to driven back to their main office in the city. Their quote said nothing about that. I did complaint and told them that it was misleading, they said were sorry but still charged me. Although I am happy with the quality of my CD Prints I wont work with Play It Productions again. Next time will use Disc Makers in Jersey, they will charge shipping but I know why.

Let me say point blank: as a recording artist with decades experience of releasing my own product…read more(and numerous nightmares along the way), I have never come across a better manufacturing provider than PLAY IT. Tony the main sales person and production manager was a total blast to work with. He himself is a musician and totally understands things from the artist's perspective while at the same time being totally on top of things technically and logistically. I had a very tight window of production for my CD release concert, and he turned my order around in just over A WEEK. No hidden surprise fees, bureaucracy or quality control issues. Just fantastic, courteous service and they can do small runs as little as 100 for a very competitive price. I went with the 5 inch mini-jacket, full color and basic black text impression on the disc (I went with white rather than silver for better legibility). That and shrink wrapped for 2.25 per CD. I mean, that's a fantastic price! Although I didn't need them, they do have a graphics dept. and also offer mastering. All you have to do is get them the art work and CD text to their template specs and along with your CD master, you're ready to get in the production line. For people looking for a great alternative to Discmakers and many smaller houses with less of a track record (no pun intended!), the personalized service I got at PLAY IT really rocked. I totally recommend them for any artist who wants a great job done with no smoke and mirrors and able to meet very tight turnaround times. Bravo, Tony!
