I was disappointed by my visit with a new, to me, Dermatologist. He was polite but could not have appeared less interested in helping me. He basically shrugged and said "not much you can do" regarding a chronic condition. I told him about an adverse reaction to an ointment I was prescribed previously and he prescribed another ointment in the same class that caused further pain. It is easy to tell the difference between a provider who cares and is interested and one who really couldn't care less. On a positive note, the front receptionist was wonderful. read more

So, all in all, I recommend North Sound Dermatology, whose new name is Pioneer Dermatology. They removed with mohs surgery a small spot of skin cancer from behind one of my ears. The office staff and doctors that I experienced were professional and worked well as a team, and the procedure was quickly done. I have a follow-up procedure to get stitches out in a week. So, this writing is on the evening of that procedure being done. There is some area awareness (tightness and slight discomfort), but that is an expected aspect of this surgery. Hopefully, there won't be any complications or other problems. read more

In all my experiences with dermatologists for over three decades I found THE ONE BEST at NSD. Not saying less of the others just saying more about Dr Park. Dr Park diagnosed a integument problem that all others missed telling me to just put lotion on it. For years I've been treating it with no improvement. Turns out it's a fungus that is easily treated with OTC cream. She's fast, accurate and easy to work with. Thank you NSD and specifically Dr Park. read more

I was there for a appointment the Dr was in the room for 3 minutes said my skin issue was probably because it's winter didn't care about anything they said they were calling me in a prescription at the appointment first thing in the morning called pharmacy 6 hrs later still not there called the Dr office again and they said oh its still waiting to be sent..horrible customer service don't waist your time or your insurance Co pay .this is why you should not go to any Dr in arlington. read more

I came to north sound for my acne because I was at my breaking point and wanted to go on accutane. Dr Park at first seemed to listen to me and I liked her. But once I got on accutane the scheduling on their end has been a nightmare. As a female when you first start you have to take 1 pregnancy test and then 1 more 1 month later before even starting. They told me the incorrect date so I took the second test 1 day too early and so they told me it was not valid I had to retake it. Which is annoying and inconvenient. Then once I was on it I went to get my first month of blood work done and I took time off work to go to Labcorp and then Dr. Park had never even put the order in for my labs! This is so frustrating, especially when I had spoken with one of their office ladies the day before to confirm that I needed my labs done on that date. How could a doctor just forget to order labs for their patient? read more

It was easy to make an appointment and it wasn't a long wait to schedule one (Everett Clinic scheduled me 2 months out). Dr. Wu was compassionate and listened to my woes. My husband ha has been happy with the care from the doctors, but I sure wish they would train the upfront staff who answer the phone better. Shayla didn't even seem to get what was needed when I explained my husband can't make his skin check appointments now until at least 3:30 pm due to a work schedule change. Took her a bit to figure out Dr. Wu is not available after 3:05 pm. I had to suggest do you have another doctor who takes appointments after 3:30 pm. She gave Dr. Craig Baugher and when I asked if that was V like Victor she just spelled the last name which still sounded like V not B over the phone after my third attempt for new doctor last name clarification I gave up and looked it up North Sound Dermatology's website. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would! My husband was looked at by a physicians assistant, not even a doctor, who very confidently diagnosed him with a staph infection! Very scary for him and our family, so of course he started antibiotics that they called in for him right away. This antibiotic was very intense and it literally was affecting my husband so much that he couldn't even go to work. Then 24 hours in to the medication, his face swelled up. He was having a severe allergic reaction to the medicine. He went back in to Northsound Dermatology and they told him that he didn't actually have staph. He was baffled. His test results came back and he had severe eczema. So not only did he get misdiagnosed by not an actual doctor, but the facility failed to call him to let him know his test results. He could have died. He had asked about the culture that was taken at his first appointment and then of course they had an answer. What kind of place puts someone on antibiotics without actually knowing what a person has? The pain and suffering he has had to endure because of this is terrible. I strongly advise people to not visit northsound Dermatology. They are terrible and very unprofessional. read more

It is a true Godsend that our insurance referred us here. It is conveniently located close enough to where we live. Importantly, the Clinic readily has available the whole-body unit necessary for my daughter's treatment. I have been taking her here for her UVB-light therapy, twice a week. The Staff never cease to be welcoming & accommodating. Thoughtfully, they greet my daughter by her nickname every time that she is always very comfortable in the Clinic.
