The phone staff is creepy, the DAC is careless and smug and this PRIVATE EQUITY is out only for $ at your expense. I had a biopsy and after finding out I have a large cancer on my lower back I cancelled the necessary surgery there to go to Virginia Mason on Monday, knowing time is important, still w no schedule and expecting a delay. That's how much I HATE THIS COMPANY. There's much I won't mention. Too much. If you have a real medical condition go to a REAL Doctor. This ain't the joint. read more

Honestly, I'm just saddened by how poor I was treated at this facility by Dr. Yoo who is reckless and uncommitted to her moral and ethical (probably legal too) obligation to her patients. I was so disheartened and frustrated, scared because i had been getting so sick and the one person that could help me in this moment was a complete idiot, rude and condescending. And, essentially was trying to tell me I had suddenly woke up midway through life and just lost my damn mind and hallucinated this all despite no changes in my surrounding environment. I left that appointment in tears. She doesn't have the time to listen to you and your concerns for your own health, didn't ask about a single symptom and is in an extreme rush and when you tell her she is wrong, she doesn't even want to take the time to call someone or look it up. Honestly, based on some of her statements, I'm pretty sure she was using google to look up my health issue. I was emotionally or physically unprepared for her ignorance and thought I was referred to her for her expertise which is laughable knowing all I know now. I actually even called ahead because I was informed that it is really important to see drs who know this issue. Misinformation within medical community is rampant and leads to an extremely high death rate for it. So my tolerance for her claims (all ones I've heard many times before from different people but KNOW now to be false) was very low admittedly. I wanted to prove her wrong, but I just felt dumbfounded like is this really happening right now!? $200 for 7min of bullsh*t and utter humiliation! Common sense should have told her what she was claiming was wrong with me is not even logical and accounts for not a single symptom I have had for years now, but she could have easily referred to the data it's WELL DOCUMENTED and as a Dr should be accessible to her! And maybe even asked me what I was experiencing and how exactly this happened. Then, it would have looked a lot diff to her, but she didn't have time I guess. She asked me where to put something and when I told her, she completely ignored me and did it somewhere else. It's like she didn't even listen to my answer! I mean really she just didn't care and I was suffering BIG TIME then! I needed just someone to hear me and suggest an effective treatment plan. And she wasn't even nice about it! She was making faces and gestures like I was so crazy for suggesting SOMETHING THAT WAS 100% TRUE! If your a professional and your going to insult someone like that, please at least make sure the info your stating to suggest that is 100% true! To be a patient in that situation was unbearable! And, I'm actually really mad about it because it's wrong to take someone's money and ignore all moral responsibility to them in their time of hardship I'm in a support group for this and I hear this same story over and over and over and now have experienced it! What is wrong with people I wouldn't quote misinformation while selling a house let alone treating a patient! And when I said look your wrong about this so can we do something more diagnostic and send a sample in or something. Her response, "well yeah but in my experience that doesn't yield results" OKAY but just because something is statistically likely doesn't make it true what if every police officer said according to statistics it's the husband so must be the husband in this murder a lot of husbands would be wrongfully convicted! For one but Loo why do you care!? You aren't the one who's gonna pay for it! I am just for the satisfaction of knowing u will be proved wrong and not mistreat some other patient like this down the road! This is a paycheck for her it seems to me. She's not worried about your health concerns and isn't going to investigate to get to the truth! Worst kind of professional there is! read more

The Handshake Says It All: Unbiased Review of Racial Microaggressions in Healthcare Let me be crystal clear about my experience with Preston Lehr, PA and this dermatology practice: it was unacceptable. As a Black woman, I was subjected to treatment that exemplifies the medical disparities POC face daily in healthcare settings. On my first visit to discuss the removal of skin tags and to have PA Lehr examine my ruptured cyst, his behavior immediately made me uncomfortable. He greeted me with an exaggerated, stereotypical handshake that felt forced and inappropriate--something I guarantee he doesn't do with his white patients in Edmonds. During this visit, he prescribed a powerful antibiotic for my ruptured cyst without mentioning it needed to be taken with food. This potentially dangerous oversight was only caught by my pharmacist, not the doctor who prescribed it. When I returned for my second visit to have the skin tags removed, PA Lehr greeted me with the same uncomfortable handshake. When I asked if the procedure would hurt, his dismissive response that "it's not going to hurt him" was both condescending and unprofessional. I had to specifically ask about aftercare instructions myself--information that should be provided automatically. For my third visit to address the now-calmed cyst, PA Lehr once again greeted me with the same inappropriate handshake. I couldn't help but think: would a 50-year-old white woman, man or non-binary person be treated this way? Absolutely not. During the procedure, he provided minimal explanation and zero aftercare guidance. Only the support staff stepped in to give me the proper information I needed. The support staff was competent, but they can't compensate for a doctor who treats patients differently based on how they look. This is medical racism, plain and simple--not jokes, not lightheartedness, but the exact kind of differential treatment that research consistently shows undermines care for communities of color. I'm giving two stars solely because: 1) The procedures were technically completed and 2) The support staff provided information the PA should have given. I will never return to this practice and strongly advise against it for anyone--ESPECIALLY people of color who deserve healthcare providers who see and respect them as human beings deserving equal care and dignity. read more

The one star is for Dr. Jane Yoo MD, I have seen her twice since my regular provider retired. Dr. Yoo seemed very rushed throughout each visit and the interaction felt impersonal. I was asking for an RX that was originally written by her colleagues and Dr. Yoo acted like the request was beneath her scope stating she's an MD, and advised me to ask someone else. Dr. Yoo was a disappointment and in my opinion doesn't represent the other providers I've interacted with within the last 15 years. read more

I had a horrible experience at Frontier Dermatology Edmonds. On 3/17/26 had 3 areas frozen off my arm. On 3/27/26 one area was showing signs of infection. I called the clinic and asked if I could come by to have some eyes on it. I was told I needed an appointment and the next available was 4/6/26. I then sent photos on MyChart to the dermatologist. Meanwhile I went to my PCP and it was definitely infected. He took a culture (tested positive) and started me on oral and topical antibiotics. He said it was a good thing I came in when I did. The next day I heard from Frontier because I had left a message and sent the photos. I was told on the phone that my wound was fine and to put Neosporin on it. I would not trust this clinic and would not go again. Anytime you mention an infection in a wound you should be seen right away by any doctor doing there job correctly. read more

I found him to be unprofessional, not the least bit thorough in his scan (he missed a cyst in the middle of my back that's quite visible), didn't check my hands or arms for skin tags/moles, didn't tell me what he was going to do, and had two others in the exam room with us whom I did not know, nor did he, more importantly, ask for consent them to be in there!! Can you say HIPPA violation????? Also, as someone who is in charge of a health care clinic, I don't really think a comment should be made as to my having "big boss energy." I was on the way to take my son to a doctor's appointment with Ashlee Margheim and we got into a car accident (someone hit us). We got to the appointment exactly 10 minutes late and she refused to see him. It doesn't matter that we just had an accident and that is the reason for being late. No, likely this was her last appointment of the day since they close at 4:30 and she didn't want to be late going home. No compassion or empathy for the fact that we rushed over there in the midst of dealing with being hit. This clinic is pathetic, as we had a previous bad experience with another doctor who claimed he was "pretty good at spotting cancer," with the naked eye. I had a benign skin excision removed with Dr. Lawlor. Although I understand he wanted clear margins, and an elliptical shape is required to minimize irregular scarring. The margins he took were inexplicably wide. He took a 4cm ellipse for a 0.4 cm lesion. 2 years later, the scar still looks disfiguring. Although I was prepared for as scar, the shear size of it is outrageous. I regret seeing Dr. Lawlor every time I look at this horrible scar, and could not recommend anyone else go. This is in addition to the formation of a cyst, the need for an additional excision, AND leaving sutures embedded within the wound that required me to return to have them removed AND he attempted to pull them out without any local anaesthetic, it took me wincing for him to offer it. This ordeal lasted months, and I still have this horrific scar. I would NEVER go to this location again. read more

My husband got a biopsy on 6/10/25 at Frontier Dermatology. Today, 6/20/25, the biopsy site looks infected, and he called at 9:30 a.m. to arrange a spot for a possible infection. They told my husband that they don't have an opening until Tuesday!!! For the infection from the biopsy, they did! What kind of dermatology place is this?!!??? You think you can leave the infection for four more days and not be concerned about the biopsy site they did?????? read more

I continue to see Dr. Jane Yoo for all of my skin concerns, and I continue to be very happy with each and every one of my experiences at this office and with this doctor. I most recently visited Dr. Yoo late last year. I had a weird growth on the bottom of my lower lip that I was fervently hoping would go away on its own, but it never did. It looked a bit like a blackhead, but it was something else, because it was there for many months. Dr. Yoo told me the technical name for it when I saw her, but I don't remember what it is. It wasn't really changing in size or appearance, and unlike a few moles that Dr. Yoo has removed, I really wasn't concerned about it as a medical issue. Dr. Yoo let me know that because it was a cosmetic issue, I would need to pay the full fee for it. She estimated the fee, and it seemed reasonable, so I went ahead and got it removed. It took 2 separate appointments, and the final cost fell exactly within her estimate range, so I appreciated that. My growth was removed, and I needed to return for the second visit in order to get the stitch taken out. I was concerned by how my lip appeared when I returned, the area where the growth had been looked darker than I'd expected and a bit more red as well, but my concerns were addressed and allayed, and within another 1 - 2 weeks after the second appointment, my lip looks as though it never had a growth at all, which was the precise result I was most hoping for. Dr. Yoo's MA is very personable and professional, as are the excellent reception staff. The waiting room is pleasant, the checking in process is seamless, and I am always seen by the Doctor within a timely manner. I plan on continuing with Dr. Yoo as my Dermatologist for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend both Dr. Yoo and this Office. Seattle Skin and Laser is going by Frontier Dermatology now, so I may see if their new name is on Yelp, and, if so, I may repost this review there too. It is so nice to have a Dermatologist whom I can trust. read more

I had a Juvederm filler injection. I've had a Juvederm filler in the past and that one was very good. A different type of Juvederm was used this time and it was not anywhere close to the quality of the one I had before. I am not sure if the doctor was totally not understanding what I wanted or what. At this point I am not sure if Frontier Dermatology is the place I want to go. Along with not getting the results I wanted I also had much more bruising than expected. The office should give a sheet of how to eat and drink and what supplements should be taken or not taken prior to this type of procedure. They should also let you know how long you can expect the bruising to last. read more

Dr.Lawlor a few times about an annual exam and some other issues. He is professional, knowledgeable and patient. His recommendations made sense and were well explained. Didn't have the same experience with PA Scott Taylor. He focused in on an issue that I said was priority two, and offered a very expensive cream. He also recommended multi vitamins for my issue that were more than 3x more expensive than leaders in this category. Unfortunately, due to this and the surprising bill I received from my 10 minute appoints (despite being in-network) I feel this clinic is inconsistent in its service and overly focused on making money/getting incentives . read more

I was seen by one of the dermatologist there, twice. The one I saw was kind and did look at my scalp each time. The doctor wrote down some ideas for me to try, but at the end of my appointment, she said, "I'm sorry I can't help you". I just managed a quick, "ok, thanks" and left. My mom goes here, and likes it, and I was in need of assistance. I thought I'd check this place out, after other negative experiences, elsewhere. That was in the Spring of this year.
