Jonathan gave us a quote on the spot and said it would be about three weeks for them to get the glass and about four hours for the install. They under promised and over performed. The glass came in two weeks and they took three hours to do the work. Leo is an expert at what he does and it shows. The windows look like new or better. I can't recommend Glass Guru of Blaine highly enough - responsive, quality work/product and cost competitive. We have a a couple of additional windows that we will definitely have them do in the future.

This company replaced my windshield outdoors in December 2013. I have since learned that it is not…read morerecommended to have this done in the cold, advice that this company did not provide. When the work was complete the windshield appeared to be crooked. The car had to go to their shop less than two weeks later because the windshield whistled. They applied some black gunk to the inside (which looks like a 5 year old did it). but the whistle was still there although it was not as bad. When we started getting rain this spring we discovered that the windshield was leaking - to the point of standing water on the floor. The technician came back to my location and applied more black gunk. Today (2 days since second repair) the car was outside in the rain for less than an hour and again there is standing water on the floor. The windshield was improperly installed to begin with, they repaired it once instead of reinstalling it and the second time they were asked to correct it, would not reinstall it because I was unlucky enough to have another crack (possibly from the pressure of being installed incorrectly?). Tomorrow I will contact them again. I expect the windshield to be replaced at no cost. I will update the review with the results.

Eric was the electrician who came to install the light. He checked the light to make sure it was in…read morefact meant to be installed in a water setting as the title on box did not say "shower light." Yet, I told him I chose it from the "shower light" section of choices online at Home Depot. But Eric wanted to be sure, for safety purposes, that the light could tolerate a water setting. It had a symbol on the box which we both believed to indicate that, but he checked with Chris, his boss, to be sure that's what it meant. Chris approved it for installation. I appreciated his focus on safety and the installation did not take very long. I also appreciated that Eric was very personable and explained very clearly how this was a good choice for a shower light because it could be popped down a bit if there was a need to see above the light again, such as for another drain leak from above, as this situation had been. The cost may have been a bit more than if I paid someone else by the hour, but at least this cost by job included a trip fee and if it needed to take longer would not have cost extra. A very good service that I would use again.
