At face value you walk in and the school is full of character. No boring white walls. I mean there's a model train going around the ceiling by. Play grounds are well kept and there's even a splash pad. While this is not a Montessori school our girls have not only received a great education, the arts and craft creativity projects are endless. I will say this school is based in core Christianity beliefs so if that if that is an issue for you, this may not be your place. I can say nothing our girls have learned or repeated is offensive in anyway. Admin and staff- we have seen some turn over but have never had an issue with new teachers. Health and safety- the school is very good at communicating Health/ safety issues ( black outs, weather impacts , etc). They also routinely perform monthly evacuation and situational awareness. So bottom line no school or daycare will ever measure up to a parents expectations of care for their kids... but while there maybe some bumps here and there I still believe the staff at this school deserve endless margaritas and metals everyday of the week!

What makes Primrose of West Allen truly special is its people and its culture. Shannan and Andrew lead from the top down, and their commitment to the children, families, and staff is reflected throughout the entire school. They have created something that feels much more like a family and community than simply a preschool. Perhaps the best reflection of that culture is that their staff includes three generations of teachers from the same family -- a mother, daughter, and granddaughter. That says so much about the kind of environment they have built. The leadership team -- Ms. Vidisha, Ms. Eylin, Ms. Jessica, and Ms. Leslie -- is exceptional. They know the children and families personally, are always approachable, and genuinely care. Most importantly, we want to thank all the wonderful teachers who have taught, cared for, and loved both of our kids over these five years. There have been so many amazing teachers along the way, and we are incredibly grateful to every one of them for the role they have played in our children's lives. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than dropping your children off knowing they are safe, happy, loved, and surrounded by people who truly care about them. When we raised these concerns with the school, we did not feel they were addressed appropriately. Additionally, we observed that the front office staff, particularly Karla, did not greet us as they did with other parents, and the teachers were often unwelcoming. On multiple occasions, our daughter was sent home in soiled clothing. We ultimately decided to withdraw our child from the school. Upon leaving, we were escorted out by Karla without any acknowledgment or thanks. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this school to families of color. We hope sharing our story helps others make an informed decision. We were also paying over $350 per week for tuition which is insane.

Our son started off in the junior toddler class and is now in senior toddler, and both classes have been amazing! They always communicate what they did that day, what he ate, even how many times he goes potty. At his old school he always had a bad diaper rash but at The Prep, they change him regularly and document each diaper change. The school is very clean and they focus on hand washing/cleanliness (even before covid) which is huge for a germaphobe like me. What led me to write this review was our most recent experience. We took a break for a few months due to Covid so my son fell behind in his language development. I expressed this concern to them and that same day they started working more with him and are giving us updates on his progress. Words can't express what this means to me. They didn't dismiss me...They care enough to take that extra time with him and send us those updates. The office staff is also amazing. They communicate with us so well and are always happy to answer my questions. I've been impressed with their involvement with the kids too. They genuinely care! They have handled this covid thing so well by communicating and enforcing measures to ensure everyone is safe. We are so so impressed with this school, and it's worth noting; My sister sends her 4 year old son there too and has had an equally positive experience.
