My wife and I, being new to the area, had to find daycare pretty quickly for our then 5-months old. Up until that point he was cared for by grandpa and we had very very high expectations from a daycare. We've decided to go with Cornerstone for several reasons. No complaints that we were able to find by looking at the TX state background check on the business. We have consulted with other parents and they all love the place. The caretakers have all been there for many years, are very dedicated, very warm and friendly and very good at strictly following parents' direction as well as care for the little ones. The price is competitive for the area. As for the entire facility, it is very clean, well taken care for and the staff is very friendly and eager to help. Our little one has been going here for months now and absolutely loves it. And we, as parents, are at ease knowing that he is in good hands. I highly recommend you give Cornerstone a try.

At least 50% of the staff has been there since we started taking our daughter there, so they know us, her, and our two year old son. I never have any doubts at all as to whether they're keeping the child's well-being the number one priority of their day. I have heard other's (friends and strangers) horror stories of something that happened at the child's daycare, and I have literally NEVER had a concern that wasn't addressed within minutes, NEVER had a doubt whether or not they had a careful compassionate eye on my child all day, and NEVER found any reason to think that there was anything but love for my kids while in Cornerstone's care. We're moving, and it was a hard decision to make for a couple of reasons. One was ABSOLUTELY DEFINITELY the loving, attentive care our kids received at Cornerstone for five years and eight months and whether or not we could find a facility that we could trust with our children's well-being. If you're looking in Wylie, I would look at a few other facilities and then go to Cornerstone to see what the others are missing. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts ladies, you've meant the world to us.

However, our son was unfortunately placed into the care of people who either lack the experience to care for kids, or just don't enjoy doing it. Because of "behavioral issues" our son was told that "he is missing part of his brain" and referred to a quack pseudoscience professional in Addison, TX with the promise that said "doctor" would be able to help. Instead, we spent thousands of dollars on a scam -- at the recommendation of Gabimarie at Breckinridge. Ultimately, we were given a "trial period" of 3 weeks where out son was (finally!) removed from the care of his teacher and placed in another class. During his time in that class, we received no communication that he was acting out, and during every single observational attempt, I could see him focused on his work. At the end of the trial period, we were brought into the office and the owner, Gabimarie, and his new teachers tried to tell us that he was just too disruptive to the class to be kept at their school. We have decided it is best to not fight it and withdraw both children from their care and move onto a better school option. In the end, we loved the kids and parents at this school, but some of the staff and teachers are far more interested in enforcing petty dress code violations than they are attending to the kids needs. Other reviews on here have touched on things we also witnessed. While there are good things about the school that we really liked, the overall experience was so poor that I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. Your children's mental well-being is far too important than to roll the dice with certain staff. Go elsewhere -- the cheap price tag of this place is less indicative of value than it is "you get what you pay for."

Then there are schools where you take your children to not just learn ABC's and arithmetic, but you're fortunate enough to find teachers that truly love their profession and show the care and concern for each child. We have found that at Breckenridge Montessori. When trying to determine where to leave your child for several hours a day, it is important to find out if those that will be with your son or daughter from 8 - 4 (or longer) not only enjoy their profession but enjoy where they are working. The staff at Breckenridge Montessori has been there for years - YEARS - with some being there well over a decade. The love they have not only for where they work but for the children shows each day. I have found the staff very willing to listen to our needs, our questions and our concerns for our child, which is important because we had some unfortunate issues at other schools that did not have the professionalism and level of attention that Breckenridge Montessori has shown us. Our son has flourished - he is learning and advancing in his education exceptionally. As a kindergartener he is doing math and reading well beyond his years and has, most importantly, shown an insatiable appetite to learn - he asks questions and seeks answers, which I attribute to the school fostering in him the desire to learn not just as a ritualistic academic endeavor but as a curiosity about life around him. I do not make recommendations lightly because I think people read these and take them seriously. I will tell you I recommend Breckenridge Montessori without hesitation. Do your child a favor and consider this school for his or her education - in life and ABCs.

My HS Freshman is on XC at Wylie East and they have had meets at this campus. He's also attended a baseball event here. Their baseball field is nice. Both of my children's Art work has been displayed at this campus from Middle School years, leading up to High School. Traffic in this area of the school campus and surrounding areas can be frustrating at times getting in and out. Crossing guard/crosswalk area can get chaotic with students going back and forth in the morning and afternoon, while everyone is commuting to work. Lots of students head over to the nearby shopping center that also has fast food places to eat at, so this can cause huge delays, which causes backed up traffic. Our HOCO parade is mapped out at this campus/stadium. Nice stadium for Friday night lights!

She definitely loves her job anybody will quickly experience her warmth and passion for kids! I enjoyed her in depth questions and discussion we had about what my goals were for my daughter while she was there. Environment: safe, organized, very well set up kiddy place! So many activities & best of all she has a great schedule and routine she sticks to! I love that she worked on potty training too since we're in the midst! She feeds the kids great healthy home-made & organic foods! Best part on our first day was her midday update to me on how my little princess was doing! She had an amazing day I could tell by her not asking for Mama once on her first day at school. I could go in but I would highly recommend Ms. Angela to anybody!
