We have used Oak Brook School going on three years now and my son is 6 now. I wish I would have found them sooner! The entire staff is nothing short of amazing! The front desk is very informative and keeps you in the loop on everything. Each teacher my son has had has been welcoming with open arms! The pre-k teachers are absolutely amazing; and they are really geared at getting your child ready for Kindergarten! The facility is neat and clean at all times! They serve a variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and snack! They have a pool and go on field trips in the summer, which is my sons favorite part of the week! I just love that when my son leaves Oak Brook everyday, he's excited to tell me about his day and excited to go back each day! This place is the total package for your kids!! read more

My six year old son has been going to Oak Brook since he was only two years old. I know everything I need to know by the way he gets angry if I pick him up too early. The staff at Oak Brook has become a family to me over the years and I cannot wait until my 10 month old son is able to enroll. The people at Oak Brook take the time to ensure that your child is well taken care of, feels safe and happy and they have tons of great activities for each age group that challenge the mind as well. When my son started Kindergarten he was already reading at a 2nd grade level. I cannot recommend Oak Brook enough! My two year old has been at Oak Brook School for five months now since we moved to Murphy, Tx. We are very happy with this school. The staff is very friendly and professional, always making sure our son is well attended. They have cameras in all classrooms monitoring everything that goes on, which is something I like. The classrooms are very well kept with everything kids need to be well taken care of. My son has never come home with irritation from an unchanged diaper. On the contrary, he comes home very clean. They feed him several times a day with healthy meals and they also make sure he takes his daily nap. This is my son's 3rd year at Oak Brook School. Before we started, I toured 12 different daycare/preschool/mother's day out programs. I had the best feeling about this one. Turns out my feelings were right! My son will be starting Kindergarten next year and he can already count to 100, add single digit numbers, and he's starting to read and spell simple "CVC" words. The thing that's great though, is that I know he's loved and cared for there. He also gets plenty of time to play, explore, interact, and problem-solve. I was wary of a different preschool that bragged about all the things the kids would have memorized before Kindergarten. That's not what my child is there for. We love Oak Brook! read more

We are in our 5th year at Oak Brook. My son started as a pre-schooler, did the private kindergarten there (which was fantastic) and is now in his second year as an after-schooler / summer program attendee. While like all schools, Oak Brook has had staff turn-over, most core staff, from the Director to the kitchen staff has been very stable for the entire time we have been there. This creates a great bond with the kids and with the parents. Finally, Oak Brook has recently undergone a change in ownership which so far has been nothing but positive. I must say, Oak Brook School is a parent's dream! Both my son and daughter grew up at this school and have become well mannered, happy, and cheerful students. I also grew up into parenthood here as I watched my children learn, play, learn life's early lesson, and make friends. My daughter has attended Oak Brook School since she was 3 years old. She and I both love the teachers at this school. She is now in their private Kindergarten and loves every minute of it. All the teachers and staff are a joy to be around and you can tell they really love what they are doing each and every day. This school has a great curriculum and offers many extracurricular activities as well. The parents can sign their kids up for classes like basketball, dance, gymnastics which are all brought into the school for your convenience. My daughter started going to Oak Brook in August and she is in the Private Kindergarten. She absolutely LOVES it there. She has learned so much already. She can read Kindergarten level books, knows how to read a map, do basic math, and is even learning Spanish. She loves her teacher Miss Rebecca. They provide a lot of extras that you have to pay for at other places like free breakfast, trips to the library every other week, computer class, and even home access to online learning websites. I also really love their facilities. They have a HUGE playground, a gym, computer room, and even a theater room. I wish we had put her at Oak Brook sooner! read more

My son attends Oak Brook... They have great staff and teachers. The The playgrounds are separated by age groups which makes it really nice. The facility has a theater room a basketball court a swimming pool everything your child could ever want at a daycare including a computer room! My son is 2 1/2 years old and after just three months of attending the school he knows sign language!!! And he can sing just about every single nursery rhyme song there is and he does it every single day! I looked all over the Wylie/Murphy area for a daycare center that I would feel comfortable leaving my granddaughter. I walked in and the staff was friendly and very happy to show me all over the school and explain the curriculum, schedule & activities. I enrolled my granddaughter part time - she had a little bit of an adjustment period but her teacher Ms. Ellie is so sweet and helps her adjust when she needs it. Love the staff and all her teachers. We joined Oak Brook in the Summer of 2014 and have been very happy with every experience! The staff is fantastic and wonderful with the children, and the variety of activities always keeps the children engaged. My daughter is involved in the after school program during the school year, and looks forward to attending the summer camp activities. The field trips are amazing, and the on site pool has provided swimming lessons that I would have not been able to do if it weren't offered through the school. My two daughters, 10 (after school) and 6 (Private Kindergarten), attend Oak Brook School since they were 3 years old . This has been a wonderful experience for both. They love the meals that they serve there. The Kindergarten curriculum is excellent. My oldest daughter not only academically but socially advanced when she entered public school. The facility is great and they have been doing a lot of improvement in recent months. The staff is also very helpful, quick to respond and friendly when you walk in. I was really scared when my daughter had to start going to school.I was very worried about her being away from me.A friend recommended that I take her to oakbrook since she had two kids there and has never been dissappointed.That is exactly what I did and I do not have any regrets.The teachers and very nice,friendly and trustworth.I spend my day at work peacefully when my daughter is at school.She loves going to school and spending time with her teachers.I glad I chose Oak Brook School for my daughter. Our daughter has been attending Oak Brook since August and it's been a very nice experience so far. Since she's been there, her writing has improved and she's learned so much. This was her second school and the staff made the transition go smoothly. The staff at Oak Brook are very professional and gives each child their undivided attention, and that's hard to find! My 4 year old and 2 year old been attending Oak Brook School since June this year and they absolutely love it! All the teachers are nice and very kind. Jennifer and Monica at the front desk are very nice. They Always have a smile on their faces when you walk In to drop/pick up the kids. This is our second year at Oak Brook and we absolutely love it! The staff is professional and amazing! My daughters have gotten a Kindergarten curriculum and are more than ready for Kindergarten when they enter it. My daughters get a quality education in a safe and nurturing environment. My youngest walks around the house counting or singing in Spanish because she has Spanish twice a week. They also have computer class twice a week and they attend music class once a week. I recently moved my daughter to this facility because I was looking for a non-corporate/chain feel in a pre-school. I got that and so much more! Oakbrook has an excellent curriculum, staff, and all the academic programs I was looking for (Spanish, computers, music). They also have numerous extra curricular a to choose from and a PE teacher. I have 2 boys attending Oak Brook. We have been an "Oak Brook Family" going on 4 years, from the toddler room to the after school program. My youngest is transitioning which would make me sad because I LOVE his current teachers, Ms Melony & Ms Ellie, but I'm not because I also LOVE Ms Penny. They have a great school program for daycare, awesome afterschool program for older children as well as a fantastic summer program.
