My husband and I have been SO happy with Canyon Creek Daycare since day 1! All of the staff is so kind and make me reassured that my son is in the best hands daily. They send me pictures and updates every 30 minutes or so and keep me up to date on all of his activities. My son is only 6 months old so we were hesitant about starting daycare when he was about 3.5 months old, but we are so happy about our decision. We definitely made the right choice and know that we will stick with Canyon Creek as long as we can!! They are all knowledgeable about his needs and love on him so much. I love that he is being read to and does a lot of developmental activities each day as well as arts and crafts. It is clear that every staff member creates a relationship with the children at daycare and knows their personal needs and preferences. My son comes home in a great mood and I feel at peace dropping him off everyday before work. Also, I LOVE the security measures that are implemented at the daycare to ensure that all our little ones are as safe as possible!! When we set out to find a daycare for our young children, there were many factors that were at the top of our list (proximity to home/work, curriculum, costs, low turnovers, etc) but the most important factor was the people. Entrusting your precious cargo in someone else's hands comes with very high expectations, and it felt like a tall order. There are so many wonderful qualities that CCD possesses, but it's their people that truly make the difference. My boys' teachers hold a very special place in my heart and feel like family. They are not simply caregivers or even "daycare providers," they treat my children like their own and allow us the opportunity to be working parents with the reassurance that our babies are being LOVED. No words can ever describe how grateful and appreciative we are for everything they do. I cannot say enough about how great Canyon Creek Daycare is! Our son has been attending the school since it was Canyon Creek Christian and we thought it was great then, but it is even better now. It is a nurturing environment, Christian based, has diverse group of kids and staff, and I am constantly amazed with how much the students learn. The kinder-prep curriculum is challenging, yet the teacher is able to tailor it to each student's abilities. They have small class sizes, a structured curriculum, but still gives them opportunity to socialize and play. From learning the pledge of allegiance, to memorizing parts and choreography for holiday programs, weekly bible verses, learning Spanish, counting, printing letters and numbers, to arts and crafts, they stay busy and my son can't wait to go back each day. They are now moving on to sight words and my son just turned 4. The management team is very approachable and receptive to ideas and concerns. They strive to make it feel like family. I love getting updates throughout the day through the Brightwheel app with photos and videos showing how much fun they're having. read more

My family moved to the Dallas area in early May, we moved away from family so we knew we would have to put our one year old son in a daycare while we were at work. We toured multiple facilities before coming across Canyon Creek Daycare. The staff was so welcoming and understanding of our situation and our hesitation about putting our son into daycare full time when he was previously cared for by grandma. They made the transition as smooth as possible for everyone and allowed us to start part time while I worked on finding a job myself. Our son has loved his time at Canyon Creek since day one! We cannot say enough great things about this place! He has learned so much in his short five months here, he is talking more and always has a smile on his face when we drop him off and pick him up. The staff is amazing and truly cares for these kids like they are their own. It puts this mama at ease knowing that my baby is in such great hands during the day. There are so many things we love about Canyon Creek Daycare - the wonderful staff, great security measures, healthy meals, daily updates, their clean, spacious building, & a good curriculum are just a few. Our first baby has been here since she was 9 months old and we will be sending our new baby here as well with total confidence that he will be well taken care of. Every staff member we have encountered has been wonderful and communicates well with us. It's evident that they have a love for children, and for fostering both a loving and educational environment. My toddler comes home to tell me how much she loves her teachers which is oh so heartwarming. We love the amount of arts and crafts she does and that she comes home singing songs and telling us what letters or numbers she's learning. We have been at Canyon Creek Daycare since August and are extremely pleased! They made my transition back to work seamless. The staff is always friendly and greets me and my child by name. I love the teachers, I can tell that they really care for my daughter. Perhaps the best thing about CCD is the Brightwheel app. They are able to send pictures and updates throughout the day- from napping to eating to pottying, I always know how my daughter's day is going. This is great, so I'm not surprised when I pick her up if anything has gone wrong! Communication is great, everyone is quick to respond when I call or email. They do monthly activities for families such as craft night or Bingo, which is a great way to meet other families. I really appreciate Canyon Creek Daycare!! read more

My daughter started at Canyon Creek for Pre-K and she has absolutely loved it. She loves are teachers and all the friends she's made. I feel so happy with the kindergarten prep and know she is very ready. They make learning fun. There is also plenty of play time and outside time, which I think is so important and often over looked. Beyond the amazing teachers Canyon Creek has the best staff. They are always on top of keeping the parents informed. I love seeing post on the app of what they are doing and receiving pictures throughout the day. They go above and beyond by having holiday events and family craft evenings. I can't say enough positive things about this wonderful place. My daughter started here in October at 12 weeks old. I couldn't feel more comfortable about her being in their care. The teachers obviously love these babies so much. They always have a positive attitude, and amazing communication. I love getting pictures and videos of my girl throughout the day. Everyone that works there is so friendly and they know us by name. Kidada, the director, has the best communication of anyone I've ever worked with. And she is often out in the front greeting kids and parents with Ms Ashton and Ms Summer. They have handled all the current craziness and changes with such grace. I love Canyon Creek Daycare! They love on our kids so well. I have two daughters that attend this daycare/school. My oldest is in the pre-k class and it's amazing how much she has grown and learned this past year. She is going into kindergarten well prepared. They also teach our kids Christian values, which was most important to me. Bc I was a "stay at home" mom for years, I wanted to make sure my kids were going to be nurtured as well and they do a great job showing affection and love towards the kids. My one year old has been attending Canyon Creek Daycare since August. I was nervous to go back to work full-time and leave him all day. However; the transition has been a seamless one! We have been at CCD for almost three years now starting out with our oldest daughter. They have always been really caring, compassionate, and loving with my children as well as with my wife and I. Canyon Creek Daycare is by far the best day care in the area. They are so observant, informative, and caring. I never have to worry about how my child is doing because they are always one step ahead.
