My dog Harley was going to North Stewart Veterinary clinic for almost two years. The young ladies there are always very helpful and sweet. He hurt his leg in July and I took him in and he ended up having an operation on his knee. The medication that they gave him for his knee, he was allergic to. Of course nobody saw that ,and I didn't see it either. The young ladies are wonderful. I'd send them pictures a lot , I just had to make sure his leg looked okay. Harley had an extra long cone and even with that he managed to get that leg in his reach to lick it. This is why it wasn't healing. Then he looked really sick and he had no white blood cells. They had to do a blood transfusion, I had a really bad feeling after that. He wasn't going to be with me much longer. For few weeks we where going back and forth to the vet to check his blood levels and make sure he's all right. Friday the 13th he wasn't doing well and he had a vet appointment that day. They're doing a blood test to check his levels. He wasn't doing well at all, the medication that they gave him didn't help. Harley's mother died of leukemia also. I had to make the decision to put my baby down cuz I didn't want him to have to suffer. The young ladies are angels When the one girl bought Harley back to me, I'm not saying any names. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KITTEN HERE! Was confident after seeing other reviews of this place, but after taking my cat in to get spayed, I am convinced to never step foot near that place again. Instead of giving a 9 month old KITTEN a cone to keep her from scratching or licking her wounds, they let me go with her just in the crate. I thought she had one on. I get 15 minutes down the road and go to pet her and comfort her while I'm driving home, and I notice she has no cone. When I called them, they said, "we usually WAIT until we notice they're showing signs of scratching!" How would YOU notice she's licking and scratching when she's on drugs? Logically doesn't make sense to not offer it or even mention it and risk the kitten hurting themselves. (they applied dewormer to her butt as well--she can't be licking that, right?) They gave my baby kitty wayyy too much anesthesia. The vet even told me she was only going to be loopy for another hour or so. She was like that ALL NIGHT! Lethargic, confused, vocalizing her discomfort like crazy. Not to mention the stitches look really botched. This place loves to gouge you for all your money too. Over the phone they told me it would be 345 including the pack of flea prevention, I asked multiple times for the prices and total before I showed up to pick up my baby girl. To my surprise, they were actually 115$ JUST FOR FLEA PREVENTION! Of course I had them take it off the total! They seem to treat the dogs really nicely but it was a nightmare taking care of my baby all night. I couldn't sleep cause she was too drugged up. The staff is so kind and helpful, they tell you like it is and are so so kind. The vet was on the floor with me when we had to put our dog down and petted and loved on the our dog like it was her own. I'm so thankful we changed to this clinic. Couldn't say nicer things about them. read more

Hello everyone, let me start off that this place is the worst money gougers i have ever seen!!!!! One of my dogs needed to get spayed,before they did anything they asked us if we wanted for them to use a knife or a laser to make the incision,if we decide for the laser it is 95$ more,they said it would be easier on her, then if she needs an iv so she does not get dehydrated it is 65$ more,then for the after pain killers it is another 35 $.......for painkiller for a dog that much ,they must be kidding...............we were just getting our dog spayed,you would think it is an easy and quick procedure. So the whole think would cost us almost 400$....just getting her spayed....outrageous. A few months prior we had a puppy which was only 6 months old,and he got hit by a car......for an ex-ray they charged us 150$.we had to had them euthanize the dog and the total bill came to 400$. We were already so heart broken and they take advantage of your emotions. Please avoid this place at all cost...they gauging the people like crazy.You would think in a small town {6000} people and businesses would be more honest. Another thing they have 3 -5 veterinarians in there,so you see every time a different vet. i erg everyone please go somewhere else...very unprofessional and they will stick it to you money wise read more

This is the best Vet Clinic in middle Tennessee. DVM Fant is the most caring, compassionate veterinarian I've ever met. She genuinely cares for her clients pets. She has gone out of her way so many times in the care of my dogs. I live in Clarksville and there are two Vet Clinics within 10 minutes of my home but I drive 40 minutes to see DVM Fant because I totally trust her with my dogs. And my dogs are VERY important to me.
