Tried researching online but was overwhelmed by all the good and bad reviews for most of the businesses. My neighbor suggested Genzel Plumbing and I'm glad we did. Our experience with them from first phone call to end project was positive. I called and spoke with Amber. I explained our guest bathroom leaky toilet problem. Amber was professional and friendly. She explained there was an upfront $89 charge for a service technician to come out. The service technician would evaluate and let us know the total cost up front. I agreed the charge was acceptable and made an appointment for a service technician to come out to our home. The morning of the appointment Amber called to let us know Rocky Johnson (Service Technician) with 27 years of experience was on his way. Also received a text & email with Rocky's picture. Rocky arrived on time and was professional and friendly. He assessed the problem and explained what was needed. He was very detailed and patient with our questions before we agreed on the service. Rocky completed the job and left us with a clean bathroom and no leaky toilet. Ask for Rocky Johnson you will not be disappointed. Regards, Sandi (Celina, TX)

I will say, they were very fast to provide an estimate, get us on their install schedule and take our money, but things took a turn for the worse during the installation. We were replacing two traditional water heaters with one tankless and everything should have been smooth flowing, but the two install techs screwed up and broke some water pipes which in turn flooded our power bath and hallway with a few inches of water which sat for a few hours. The two techs were very apologetic and told my wife that their actions caused the flood but their boss, Jake, told us a different story. He claimed that it had been an existing slow leak that they 'found' but the funny thing is our wood floors weren't buckling, there was no mold or any other tell-tale signs of an existing leak. When the flood remediation company showed up to start clean up JMP's mess, they confirmed this flooding was fresh and caused by the installation. Fast forward to today and we are now trying to engage with the owner of JMP Plumbing, Jillian, but she refuses to answer our calls or even return text messages, basically ghosting us because she knows they are at a fault. We are out of pocket an additional $3,000 for the flood damage but JMP got their money, so they are more than happy to ignore us. The moral of this story is BUYER BEWARE when dealing with Jillian and JMP Plumbing as a whole.

All I can say after $7k in temporary repairs and now a reoccurring problem is buyer beware. This business is not as they seem. Update: we did finally get an email, not the courtesy of a phone call from the owner saying it is a different issue than the one before and they don't want to help us because we are speaking up. They mentioned we were threatening....funny how telling a side of a story where a non profit isn't helped and is told to "deal with it" is "threatening" to them. We never once said anything about legal action, we were hoping the owner would help and stand behind her 2 plumbers' work. We are now forced to take further action...meaning speaking up and finding another plumbing company. We would not ever want these folks working on anything again.

The original copper pipes underneath the house had deteriorated over time--something we learned is very common in older homes. When I started looking for solutions and getting bids from plumbing companies, I quickly realized that a full pipe replacement under the slab would be an incredibly disruptive and expensive project. That's when I discovered Ryan at NuFlow and their innovative pipe relining system. Instead of digging multiple trenches and tearing up the house to replace the pipes, their system pulls a lining through the existing deteriorated copper pipes. This lining hardens into a PVC-like material, essentially creating a brand-new pipe inside the old one--without the need for major demolition. Ryan personally came out to the house, explained the process in detail to both me and my dad, and took the time to make sure we understood everything before moving forward. After speaking with multiple contractors and then meeting Ryan, I knew I could trust him to do the job right--and I was absolutely correct. Ryan and his team were professional, hardworking, and committed to getting the job done right. Despite some tough challenges along the way, they never cut corners and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the results. If you live in an older home and are facing plumbing problems, don't rush into a full pipe replacement without first talking to Ryan at NuFlow about their pipe relining option. It could save you a lot of time, money, and stress. I can't recommend them highly enough.

They quickly diagnosed the problem, did some digging, and confirmed the problem before they started doing the job. I had a major leak in my freshwater line to the house. The repair quote was a lot (although certainly reasonable), but fortunately, I had insurance to cover the sewer and the freshwater and gas lines. If you don't have this, you'd be crazy not to get it. It's cheap, and it saved me $5250. The team from Zoom went to work quickly. This was a several-day job over the weekend, but they still got it done. They also unclogged and outgoing internal line to the sewer. The crew was professional and very effective. Robert, the supervisor, was checking on the job frequently, and he talked to me a lot about what was going on and how the job was taking place. I felt fully informed as the job is progressing. My insurance company took a little too long to pay for it, but Robert was notably patient. Hopefully, your insurance company will pay faster. The job was done extremely well, we had only a minimum of inconvenience (although we had to leave the water off unless we used it, since it would fill the trench they had dug). In summary, Zoom did a great job. They were all professional, focused, very timely, and responsive. I feel fortunate to have found a new plumbing company that I can use with confidence. Having your waterline go out is no fun, but the guys from Zoom handled it quickly, professionally, and effectively. I have no hesitation in recommending Zoom Drain for any type of plumbing needs, and if you need a sewer line, freshwater line, or a gas line repaired anywhere in the Plano/North Dallas area (or further if they service other areas), these are the guys to call.
