We had a terrible experience with Tri County Air. They diagnosed the issue with our AC incorrectly and we waited 7 days for a part that was backordered that we didn't even need. They were unhelpful in trying to escalate the issue to Lennox. One woman hung up on my husband and another told me I needed to call Lennox myself and complain. This is the company that we paid to install our units (that were still under warranty) and paid an ongoing service fee for checkups. We called another AC company and they had our AC fixed in 24 hours. read more

We use Tri County for their bi-annual check up's and maintenance. They are always available to help as quickly as possible. They show up on time, and are always professional and friendly. We've used Tri County for years and for the most part we'd been happy. Last year we thought we needed a new compressor and we were told we needed to put a down payment of $600+ and we did. That evening the a/c started to work so we called the next day and canceled the order. Thought we were all good and a refund was credited to our acct. When they called for our bi yearly we said plz use our credit and they said "you don't have a credit, the $600+ is not a refund/credit because the entire amount is a restocking fee". A what?! Are you serious?! Well folks, they did not refund or credit us the money and the women on the line actually proceeded to argue that fact very loudly and clearly. That is no way to run a business. You don't steal hard earned money from loyal customers. We'll be taking our business elsewhere. read more

They were the second quote we received but they also explained everything about the heat pump /furnace and adjusted the system during the quote until we decided on who would do the repair. I wish there were more stars to be able to say enough good things about Brian and this company! When I talked to him, he came right over. He is so professional and he really cares. He is someone you can trust, and he made me feel the trust. On top of that, we had called another company, Choice Air Care, and they charged us 189.00 to come out and really do nothing, I get you charge a 79 service fee, but you tell us there is a leak and to find it, cost us a total of 189.00, and that was it, ridiculous! They also said, it would cost 1976.77 to fix it. Brian is charging us 1/2 of that! I hate getting screwed out of money, when newsflash, it doesn't grow on trees. We are doing a remodel and this company was sent to us on a referral. Brian Autry was the contractor's name. We were told it could be a 3 day project. It was also a strong possibility that we have have been without a/c for two to three nights. We are creating 1500 sq ft of living space and had to replace two of our existing units with 4 and 5 ton units to accommodate the addition. My husband has been at the house during the time Tri-County worked on the project. Abel was one of the service techs working at the house and my husband said he stayed until 8:30 one of the evenings to complete his portion. As well, they made sure that we had air coming out of the one unit that was not replaced. The job was complex as several of the air ducts had to be relocated and new control boxes had to be installed. Even though they anticipated it w/b a three day project, it did not take the entire three days. One of the units has since had a minor issue with a connection and with the drain pan, and Heather and Brian and making sure that snafu is being resolved. They definitely have a great response time when a customer calls with any concerns. There was an added perk that allowed us a substantial discount on the project, and everyone likes to save money. My electrician has worked w/ Brian Autry @Tri-County on other projects and assured me I would be happy in selecting them for the HVAC project. Raul was in charge of working on replacing the controls for the two new units. This is new territory for us in doing the addition but Tri-County has shown to be very professional and has continued to work very diligently in getting all the required work completed as quickly as possible. So had Tri-county come out on the 27th of July to service my A/C. PM and charged compressor even bought an extra visit in the fall. Paid 226.00, which I thought was ok especially with a visit in the bank. Well yesterday my daughter stops by my house,called me at work and told me there is water spots on the ceiling and a drip. It's by the A/c unit. So I called tri-county air and they sent a tech. I meet him and we both go in the attic. He tells me a overflow drain was turned up and not down causing the condensate to drain into the plenum and over flow. The cause was the drain was clogged and wasn't cleaned in the first visit. So the tech cleans the drain tales it out back and blows the line out and does a PM. Get a call from the owner and he will not accept responsibility, says he is not responsible for how the over flow was installed. The overflow tube moves up and down and was left in the up position. So if you this to happen to your ceiling have Tri County come on out. read more

Rene and Terry were excellent, respectful, and very professional. Our AC started to short out whenever our system goes into 2nd stage cooling. We called Burnside and were given a diagnostic to get our compressor replace because the 2nd stage coil was shorted to ground and wanted a ton to replace the compressor, even though our Lennox system was still under parts warranty. Naturally, we called around to get a price check on the work since we trusted their diagnostic since they were a "preferred" Lennox dealer... Let me just say that we were glad we called around and found Tri County Air Care. They not only provided a reasonable price to get our compressor and dryer replace, they also provided in details what is required to perform the work and came out the next day. When they got to the property, my wife told them the issue and they perform the diagnostic themselves with much better results; the compressor was perfectly fine! The issue was a short in the condenser fan motor and the diode rectifier plug on the compressor causing it to short out when going into 2nd stage cooling. They saved us a ton of money by properly diagnosing the issue and replace the correct parts. They came out to the property with anticipation to replace the compressor, yet they were able to promptly diagnostic the real issue and went to Lennox to get the correct parts, unlike other companies in this situation and make excuse to come back another day with the correct parts. Unfortunately, the shop they were at did not have the rectifier plug in stock therefore, Rene and Terry replaced the fan and put the AC into 1st stage cooling so my family can stay comfortable and test out the system. Rene called and came back in the evening with the rectifier plug and got the system running at full capacity and blowing cold air the same day! Now that is honest and excellent service. Wish we had known about this company beforehand as we've had numerous AC issues after moving into this property. It's never too late, this will definitely be our go to AC shop from now on. Called on Tuesday and Wednesday they were here! Amazingly prompt! Brandon was exceptional in understanding our needs. He replaced our entire upstairs furnace and coil. We had a leaky coil, so our home was not getting cold. He gave us options to either replace just the coil, or replace the entire unit.
