A very incompetent place and Dr Ramirez is not good. She is often an hour late for scheduled visits, rushes you through everything and just doesn't seem to care. She makes you feel uneasy asking questions and just wants to get on to the next patient, especially when she is running late. Office staff often call you the day before your appointment to cancel, which really sucks when you have to arrange childcare for your toddler children! That has happened 4 times! Yet when we couldn't make the appointment due to family crisis, we were charged! Find somewhere more compassionate. read more

I really wish that I didn't have to write a negative review. But I have never had such a headache from dealing with a doctor's office. Let me start by saying that Dr. Hsu is amazing. She listens to my concerns and does what she can to help me through it all. She's responsive and informative. The staff at this office on the other hand...I don't even know where to begin. I'd give them negative stars if I could. Instance 1: On 11/21 my husband and I paid both our deposit on my delivery, as well as the payment to have my FMLA paperwork completed. I was told the paperwork would take about 15 business days to complete, and seeing as it was coming into a holiday (Thanksgiving) I was patient and let about a month go by before I reached out. I emailed the lady (Caren B.) on 12/20 with the FMLA paperwork attached, just to see if MAYBE she misplaced it. On 12/26 she emailed me back stating that because my doctor wasn't taking me off of work and I wasn't due until June, they were going to wait to complete the paperwork. Thing is, I HAD NO MORE TIME OFF. If I took too many more absences from work (I'm a teacher), my supervisor would be required to write me up, seeing as I had nothing on file that would officially protect me from losing my job. I emailed her back explaining this. Never got a response. Instance 2: I realized that during the two appointments that I'd had since leaving my IVF clinic, I'd never once been updated on the measurements of my baby. I wasn't told if he was measuring behind, ahead, on track...I didn't know if my placenta was in a good place (I'd previously been told I had placenta previa). Nothing. Even when I looked at my online chart, there was no sonographer's report, so I couldn't even see if MAYBE it would be there. This gave me a gut feeling that I should start looking elsewhere. Instance 3: I found an OB that delivered at the hospital I really had my heart set on, which Dr. Hsu didn't deliver at. So, I called, asked if she accepted new patients, and was told I simply needed to have my records sent over so my possible new OB could review them and decide if she wanted to accept me as a new patient. So, I emailed NTXOB's office, got the records release paperwork, and sent it in. In a VERY extended email chain, where I explained multiple times that I didn't know if I was leaving Dr. Hsu's care because the new doctor needed my records first, I basically had to cancel my upcoming appointment, agree to let Dr. Hsu sign off on the release in order to NOT pay a fee, and possibly face not having an OB at all at 16.5 weeks pregnant because it's just too hard to comprehend what I needed. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I went in to have my nexplanon removed over a month ago, I signed the papers to get a new one shipped to the OBGYN office. Two weeks later I call and ask what is taking so long because It hasn't taken that long before, I was told by Katie that it was taking a while so again, I was patient. A whole month had gone by so I called again with my mother also there, they said they never had me sign papers, which I did when I was there, so me and my mother were both upset. Shamonica said to us both she would email us the papers for me to sign to get the Nexplanon ordered. My mother asked Shamonica (Dr. Bradley's assistant) if there was any way we could get some kind of compensation for the trouble they have caused, and she said she would talk to the practice manager. I got a call the next morning saying they would NOT be ordering my birth control, and that I would have to find a different health provider. I asked why this was and Ebony (the practice manager) said it was because my mother had "threatened" them, I asked what she meant and the "threat" was my mother asking for compensation for something that THEY did wrong. I was told they would not help me in any way and that I would have to figure it out myself. These are some of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with in the health industry (And I work in the health industry) for anyone thinking about going to this OBGYN please beware!!!!!!!! read more

Dr Bradley is great. But they are SO difficult to get an appointment with that I had to change OBs. Also, their back office is not competent. I went in for a well woman exam and got a bill for $2400. I've called numerous times to discuss it and they never answer and never call back and then sent me to collections. I reached out to my insurance company today and they said that the invoice should have been covered but they are also waiting for the back office to call them back to give them information on the claim. This has been MONTHS of dealing with it with no returned phone calls. Today, I called 5 times and every extension said that the voicemail was not set up and I could not leave a message. I have been going to Dr Joseph for 5 years now, and he delivered my two babies. Both of my deliveries I wanted to go as natural as possible and he did not push me in any way and helped me do my best. He did that even when I felt he had a different opinion. ALWAYS puts his patients first. He is friendly, professional and trustworthy! Very knowledgeable and explains clearly and patiently what is going on and what exactly is being done. Any time I had any questions or concerns he promptly addressed them, any time I needed referral, he helped me with it. Dr Joseph went out of his way for both my deliveries, and came to hospital on his day off just to see us out. This is how he CARES. I came to this office for the first time recently to get some check ups done and I was very pleased with how quick everything was done! Normally in the past, I've had to wait several hours just to talk to any doctor that I see but I got to meet Dr. Bradley very quickly and had time to talk to her which was great! The front office is rude. I called to schedule a new patient appointment and was placed on hold for a long time. Finally the girl came back, didn't even bother to ask my name, introduce herself or even say thank you for holding. I was asked, "what insurance is it?" (I assume you're asking me what insurance I carry). I reply and and am plopped right back on hold when I asked for first available appointment. The next thing I hear is a poorly recorded voicemail message of some woman telling me the doctors she "handles" and prompting me to leave a message. At no point did the front office person who originally answered ask me if I had an urgent issue or even what I wanted to be seen for. Chick fil A employees are nicer. They are on time, friendly, not too much paperwork to fill out and most importantly Dr Joseph was a very solid, well spoken doctor. I have called 3 different phone numbers for 2 weeks now and every option says mailbox is full! I also sent an email using their contact us form and still no response! I was a new resident to Plano and chose to have my yearly check up at North Texas ob/gyn because of its close proximity to my office and because of the overall good reviews. I loved Dr. Joseph. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable during my visit. However, the billing staff is incredible incompetent. They submitted an incorrect claim to my insurance for my procedure in August. Now, four months, this is still an on going issue. Tammy Glover in the billing department is unresponsive. When my insurance calls requesting a corrected claim she is rude and has even hung up on them. Although the doctors visit itself was great, I will never return because of the absolute nightmare billing has been. Knowing how to correctly work with insurance is crucial and this office does not know how. I do not recommend using them unless you are prepared to receive a large bill even though your insurance covers everything about your visit. read more

COMPLETE LACK OF COMPASSION FOR CONCERNED YOUNG PERSON. I am new to the area, in my early 20's with an immunocompromised immune system and HPV. Fist off, you cannot call this office by phone, they can only call you or you must email. I have been trying for over a week to get an appointment, And have asked 3 separate times about availability to make sure I could even get in WITH NO RESPONSE. I am actively in discomfort, have a firm lump under my chin, CANCELLED AN APPOINTMENT WITH ANOTHER DOCTOR TO WORK WITH THEM, and I have been completely put on the back burner. They didn't even contact my other doctor about my records after DAYS of back and forth, completing forms online, converting my online form to pdf so it can be faxed- only to have someone call me- 4 days after emailing me "hopefully they get back today" only to realize she never sent it to medical records or reached out to my previous doctor (who she's having me call back and forth to work with). She said she would call my doctor and give me a call back WHICH SHOULDVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST PLACE, and now Here I am, 2 days later with no response at my wits end. They've put me through the ringer without actually doing any work themselves- If you work there and you're reading this, you no longer have permission to access my medical records THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME AND FOR YOUR COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR MY HEALTH. It's a shame that the medical industry is so money motivated- if anyone has recommendations for a gynecologist that actually cares about the wellbeing of their patients, PLEASE let me know. read more

I am a patient of Dr. Bradley. I had a IUD placed to stop severe bleeding and abdominal pain. After I went home I started throwing up, had a fever and chills. I called the nurse's line and left a vm for them to call me back. No one did. Then about 4 weeks later, I went in to do a scan to check if the IUD was placed correctly. The morning of the scan, the nurse called me to inform me that the doc is out for deliveries and so would call me after the scan. As I got to the doc office in the afternoon, I received a call again from a nurse saying the same thing about the doc not being available to see that day.. I told the nurse that we had already spoken about this. After waiting 40 mins with a full bladder, the ultrasound technician saw me (this after I told the front desk I would find another doc). The scan technician started remarking about how many fibroids I have and how large they are. She said she was surprised that no one had done a scan before. She asked me if I was attached to my uterus!! She said the doc will call me but to consider a hysterectomy!!!!! The next day I called the doc's office to find out if I needed to make an appointment. The front desk (very polite) tried to transfer me to the nurse's vm.. I declined to leave a message because of my past experience of not hearing back. After 5 mins or so on hold, the nurse came on the phone and started yelling about the fact that I had not mentioned the pain or side effects to her or the ultrasound technician. I explained that I did not see a point in complaining to them and was planning to talk to the doctor about the service I received. So after getting yelled at by the nurse for horrible healthcare I have received and not having not heard from my doc or the Office Manager about my conversation with the nurse, I have decided to find another OBGYN. I will share my experience with others about this office. I am sad that this happened.. Dr. Veradi who I first saw about 12 years ago was such an amazing doctor but the healthcare service has declined so much in these 12 years! Found this place through google. We were relocated to the North Dallas area and we needed to find an OBGYN for my pregnant wife. Luckily we were paired up with Dr. Bradley. We have another 7 weeks to go but so far every visit has been great! She's so informative and concerned about her patients. My wife's pregnancy is not an easy one and we are glad we have Dr. Bradley on our side. We look forward to having her deliver our baby boy soon. The billing department also deserves a shout out. Love, love, love Dr. Hsu! I have delivered 5 babies and have had a few doctors over that time and she is by far the most caring and attentive doctor I have had. I really can't say enough about her and her care is way above 5 stars. We had a billing issue at one point that was very frustrating and I was never able to reach anyone or get my phone calls returned by the billing department / office manager. I would say most of the staff is wonderful from check in to check out but if you ever having billing issues, they are not going to call you back or follow up. That is my only reason for the 4 stars. I WAS a patient of Dr Hsu for years and while she was a good doctor I can't say the same for the rest of the office. Ever since I started going here I have never gotten a feeling of warmth or welcoming. I went in when I was pregnant & the sono tech was not very pleasant either (even my husband commented on her) but I thought she was just having a bad day. Nope after a couple more visits she was the same...very impersonal. THEN having several run-ins w/ their equally aloof billing person ,Tammy, with the most recent one being the LAST straw. People please check your bills because she told me I owed $300 for something that should have been covered BUT according to my insurance they said SHE coded incorrectly and guess what, when they contacted her (after she advised me that I needed to dispute w/ them not her) all of a sudden I don't owe $300 anymore. AND she billed me for an extra office visit to boot in which she replied "oh that charge should have fallen off" well then why was it still on my bill trick?! Well most recently during another unfortunate exchange regarding billing, I advised her that this would probably be my last visit to that office and her response to me? A patient of SEVERAL years... "That's fine, have them request your medical records and we'll transfer them." So thanks to this rude & incompetent woman they have lost a longtime patient that will most definitely spread my experience to anyone asking for referrals for a new Obgyn. Stay away from North Texas Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates unless you want to deal with the horrid woman that is TAMMY because all she cares about is billing people for things she shouldn't be...until someone notices. read more

I was a first time patient with this practice on Monday 9/25. I was told to arrive 15 minutes prior to my appointment to fill out my new patient paperwork-- no problem! I arrived about 20 minutes early and walked into a waiting room full of patients. As I approached the front desk, I wasn't greeted but instead was just told to sign in with my doctor's name. When I told her I was a new patient and wasn't sure of my doctor's name, she rolled her eyes and started looking for my paperwork. After a minute or so of searching, she lets out a big "huuuffff" and tells me to take a seat because she can not find it. In the mean time, I hear this same woman being quite rude to most of the other patients, too. I eventually fill out my paperwork and all is well. I had to wait more than an hour in the waiting room to be seen and at this point I was not happy. However, Dr. Kilmer and her Medical Assistant are way I am giving this practice five stars. Dr. Kilmer was extremely kind and listened to all of my concerns. After the pap was over, I started to feel a bit faint. Dr. Kilmer's medical assistant went to grab me some water, juice and crackers and told me that she would be back to check on me. She came back in a few minutes later and made sure I was alright. Her and Dr. Kilmer exceeded my expectations and this is why I am giving them 5 stars rather than the 2 or 3 I would have given after my front office experience. read more

Out of all the practices that I have dealt with this has to be the WORST practice that I have been to.Ever since is started going to this practice there has always been issues. The staff is VERY rude and NOBODY answers the phone! I would call multiple times throughout the day and no one would answer. I would even leave voicemails and STILL no one would call me back. Its frustrating because when I did address it with the front office all I got was attitude. They clearly didn't care about my concerns and I honestly think they don't care about any of their patients. Changing my OBGYN is an issue for them, Getting my medical records is an issue for them, doing their job IS AN ISSUE FOR THEM, ANSWERING THE FREAKING PHONE is an issue for them. Its Ridiculous! When I had my implanon removal done with Dr. Bradley she botched that up! She couldn't even remove the implant. She had to call other doctors to help her with the process. Honestly with the issues that I have had with Dr Bradley along with the unprofessional front office, I'm done! If you are looking for an OBGYN please don't go here! I went here having concerns with cramps in between periods. The doctor charged me $200 just to talk to her. Did no tests, not even a pelvic exam. Horrible Experience! Incomplete D&C! I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Edwards-Key for obstetric care with the intention that she would be overly diligent being that she hasn't been practicing for a long period of time. Being my first pregnancy, I assumed the experience was going to be different. From the initial visit she rushed thru the visit so she could go on to the next exam room and every time after that it was the same experience. I went in for my 12 week appt and found out that I had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. With COVID restrictions my husband was never able to attend so being her and I the only ones in the room, all she did was sit there with a straight face and said I'm sorry. I understand that there is nothing you can do but some sympathy and time to process devistating news goes a long way. She carried on to explain what my options where as I sat there crying my eyes out trying to grasp the idea that I had lost my baby. As always, it was rushed! I ended up having to do a D&C, shortly after the procedure, I went to the ER because I had heavy bleeding. Jesenia was her assistant at the time and she was also impathetic to the fact that I was passing abnormal clots and said to wait until I would fill up three maxi pads in a span of 2 hours. Luckily I decided to go to the ER regardless of what was advised by them. A month later, my HCG levels weren't dropping, I got a sonogram done and Dr. Edwards-Key basically diagnosed me with Gestational Trophoblastic Neoplasia and said that she would refer me out to an oncologist to confirm it was cancer but with that diagnosis I would most likely start chemo pills and not be able to get pregnant for a "hot minute" ... my husband and I asked her what she meant by "hot minute" and she said a year or more. Her verbiage was absolutely UN PROFESSIONAL. I ended up in the ER that weekend because I continued to bleed heavily with clots and didn't feel normal. Jesenia got with Dr. Key and she pretty much told me that there was nothing they could do and to just wait it out until I was able to get an appt with the oncologist. I went against their advice for the SECOND TIME, and I decided to go to the ER and ended up being admitted into the hospial for the weekend. Not once did she follow up with me to see if I was okay. I ended up having a second D&C that weekend because she didn't remove all of the placenta and I was on the verge of getting an infection. I was MISDIAGNOSED by Dr. Edwards-Key with the idea of thinking I had cancer and because of her RUSHING per usual, she didn't perform the procedure correctly. I can only hope that she doesn't do this often because I don't wish it on anyone. read more

I started going to this practice when I moved and had recently found out I was pregnant. First and second visit were great. By the time I had reached halfway through my pregnancy things started to go downhill, but it was too late to find a new doctor, since the first and second trimester visits are so spaced out. They require you to be early, but the doctor was always running late at least an hour each time I went, which made me very upset since I was always the required 15 minutes early. The nurse was in La La land and could not be worse. She would not return calls with results, not know what to answer or just play phone tag. I love my doctor, but everything else is horrendous. To schedule an appointment, there is one scheduler in particular that is a pain to deal with. She will NOT schedule you a day EARLIER than the recommended doctor visit, even if the doctor will be out for 2, 3 days after the recommended visit. Being pregnant, you want to either be a day or two earlier for your appointment, but you NEVER want to be 3, 4 days after the recommended visit, specially if you started seeing the doctor every other week and you have high blood pressure, gestational diabetes. But this scheduler Would NOT schedule me a couple days before the recommended 2 weeks visit. Had to leave the office without an appointment and send an email to the office about the issue. The sonogram lady is always in a bad mood and makes you very uncomfortable - I have to agree with the other reviews. Sonograms should be a pleasant appointment, but they are not because of the tech. Not my first pregnancy and had a couple other techs before - they were always pleasant. The other schedulers are OK but not pleasant, very dry. Overall it is very difficult to get someone to answer the phone, you usually have to leave a message and wait for them to call you back, and if you do not answer when they return your call, GOOD LUCK to you - you need to leave a VM and the cycle continues. Waiting for the Doctor to deliver my baby and will switch practices. The only thing I will surely miss besides my Doctor (Dr. Kilmer) is Carla - the lab lady. She is so sweet and experienced. She is fast and when she draws your blood you do not feel a thing. By far the best staff member of the practice. Nicest and most professional of them all. read more

Tammy in billing lacks people skills. She will not speak to you-she will only communicate through email. She has no "time" to address any concerns via phone or scheduled appointment. I've had the worst time getting simple billing questions addressed. The first time my doctor made her come see me after my visit-she sent the surgery coordinator to speak to me instead because she didn't have "time". Now we've had over 20 emails back and forth for a question that could have been resolved in one phone call. read more

Awful! I was referred here by my primary care physician. I called my physician back today and asked her for a different referral. The past 2 days I have called and sat on hold for over an hour in combined time, waiting just to schedule an appointment. I have left 2 voicemails and even though the message says that my call is "very important to us" no one has called me back in over 2 days. It should NOT be this hard to schedule an appointment. And I cannot even imagine the nightmare in getting further information from them once you are a patient. I am not sure how they have any patients since no one answers the phones or calls back to schedule anything. Horrible first experience and I will not be visiting them at this point. I have called my own doctor back and asked for another referral. I would not recommend - waste of time and if it is any indication in how they treat their patients, you shouldn't go here. read more

I would give this zero stars if possible. This is not the practice you want to go to. I found out 4 weeks ago that I was pregnant and 26 weeks along. I went in for an ultrasound after pressing that I was feeling movement, but this office wasn't willing to get me in quickly. It wasn't until I pressed that I am feeling more movement did they allow me to get scheduled. When I did speak with a nurse because the doctor was out on leave, all I kept hearing was needing a c-section again, because that is what happened with my first pregnancy. My first pregnancy, I used this doctor's office and I was forced into being induced and to rush my labor along, I wasn't allowed to get up and move or do anything other than lay in a bed and wait. Anything I wanted was ignored and the doctor stated my child was going to be over 10 lbs and I wasn't going to be allowed to try a natural delivery. This was all a scare tactic, my child was born 7 lbs, 7 oz. When I found out about my second pregnancy, and the nurse read my chart, the delivering doctor didn't even notate the birth weight correctly. I have a video that shows what my daughter's birth weight was. On top of everything, I got sick for almost 2 weeks and couldn't come in for a glucola test because this test normally happens at 26 weeks. When I got sick, I called and told the doctor's office and they told me to try to come within the next two weeks. When I went in for my next appointment, that I received my confirmation for less than 5 days earlier, I was told that I was dropped as a patient and a letter was sent to my house. No phone call, no notification that something was that pressing that could affect my ability to get care. So now I am 7 months along, I have known that I was pregnant for 4.5 weeks, and I have to rush to find a new OBGYN. If you want to be cared about, I don't recommend ever going through this practice. read more

Dr. Hsu was my OBGYN for my first child, and it was the worst decision I have ever made to pick her as my doctor. She has very poor bedside manners, and is routinely rude and disrespectful. I came down with a stomach virus, and she didn't even bother to call me after I called her office several times asking what to do. At my appointment she didn't even bring it up. She constantly pressured me into having a C-section even though my child had no issues and there was no medical justification. The office staff is so rude; no one will greet you when you come to the office. Several times I would walk by Dr. Hsu and she would see me and would not acknowledge me. The week before I was due she told me my child might come out stillborn. She had no basis for telling me this! My child had no problems throughout my pregnancy so there wasn't a reason for someone to say such a thing. After this experience I'm convinced she should not practice medicine. Dr. Eisenberg has been taking care of me for almost 18 years! He has brought both of my babies into this world and has helped me deal with a variety of difficulties along the way. He is always kind and he has never once made me feel like I wasn't the most important patient he had to see that day. I am never rushed out the door or told I should ask my questions to someone else. When he is in the room with you, you are his #1 priority. There are have been times when the wait to see him was longer than I expected, but I know it is because he is treating every patient the way I have come to expect to be treated. His nurses and office staff are equally gracious; even more so since he has moved his practice. He is also on the cutting edge of new technologies and procedures and a skilled surgeon. The single-best doctor I have ever known. I recommend Dr. Eisenberg to everyone I know! (I noticed another reviewer mentioned getting an appointment rescheduled and was frustrated by that.
