I have been a patient of Dr. Nguyen's for the past year and felt compelled to provide a review of her excellent services. First of all, this is a clean, well maintained boutique medical practice, not just a med spa, and Dr. Nguyen has many years of experience as an internist. With this background, she is extremely qualified to provide treatments with a full understanding of the medical risks involved and long term effects. Her pre- and post- treatment care is excellent in preparing me for what to expect, provide abundant information to research, and remain available to answer question after the procedure(s). I was interested in the Morpheus 8 procedure, but had read online that it was excruciatingly painful. Having a relatively low pain threshold, I did not think that I could do it. Dr. Nguyen, however, uses a special topical anesthetic that made the Morpheus 8 procedure of the face and neck virtually painless. Additional numbing with lidocaine injections were necessary for inner thigh area, however not a "nerve block". She is one of the only practitioners in the country that uses this topical treatment from what I understand. Another procedure that I have done is called UltraClear coring which is a cold laser treatment. This system removes tiny skin cores in the skin, the spacing and depth are controlled by a machine that ensures uniformity of coverage. The result is tighter skin on my face and neck. This procedure is a fantastic alternative to a much more invasive, risky and expensive face lift. In my opinion it compares favorably in all aspects with Ellacor, which after initial enthusiasm and loud press is quickly falling out of favor (it does require nerve block). I highly recommend these procedures for anyone looking to remove signs of aging and absolutely appreciate and recommend Dr. Nguyen. read more
