I can truly tell that she cares so much about what she does. She worked with Henry for his first few visits, and even noticed some other things he needed help with that our doctor didn't notice! She is amazing. When he first started here, he was barely speaking and also had some issues with his muscle tone. He speaks so much now and is so much stronger! All of the therapists here are wonderful. I can't say enough good things about them. He usually sees Miss Malia and Miss Cass, and he always is so happy to go play with them. They always tell me what they did with them, and what I can do at home with him. I am so glad our doc recommended them. I highly recommend them!

It also didn't run the full time and then when I tried to book follow-ups, they told me I'd have to call each week to see when they had cancellations...I feel like you shouldn't be taking new clients if you can't schedule them in advance. They are a small company (which I usually prefer) and do not have the resources to deal appropriately with insurance and billing. There are a lot of good resources out there for families with needs and the last thing a family with medically complex children needs is unexpected medical bills for services they were promised (multiple times) were covered both through AzEIP and insurance. If you are looking into Sunrise Therapy Services, your family has medical needs. You likely are overwhelmed with all the medical appointments of one or more of your family members. You need a company that helps you reduce your mental/emotional/physical load. Based on my experience, Sunrise Therapy Services will only add to those (sometimes insurmountable ) burdens. You do not need a company that does not have the resources to adequately do their administrative duties; you need a company that has a great history of communication and is able to take care of billing issues before they become big issues. He will be put on a wait list so that maybe in October he can come back! They would not tell me why it was only my child! The owner will not return a phone call! My child has abandonment issues and now he is in tears asking why she (his ex-occupational therapist) could not even tell him goodbye! (Such a good question)! I should have known better, the same thing happened 2 years ago with the speech therapist and he is still on a waiting list! If you choose to go here, be prepared to be dumped at the last minute and out of the blue!

Review for Brittany and living gracefully…read more My mom had been in a subpar care facility that let her be bedbound for 3 months and she lost all mobility. She was unable to sit up in bed by herself and needed everything to be done for her. She is very independent and that is very important to her. She was very unhappy with her situation. Brittany came to her new excellent care home and on the very first day, she got my mom to walk with the walker and I was just astounded. She told my mom how strong she was. Brittany is warm and present and kind and just a real light. Jim started working with her on a regular basis and it's now been three months and my mom is walking with a walker, she is taking showers on her own, she is fixing snacks for herself. She's able to go outside and inside whenever she wants. My mom has dementia and is not aware of her limitations and Jim was able to keep her safe by letting her know she needed to only practice with others there and she actually listened to him when she won't listen to me. She loves Jim and says that even though he is firm with her, he always says it with a twinkle in his eye and she just really looks forward to spending time with him. Brittany and Jim were able to completely turn my mom's life around. And they are both kind and attentive and completely gracious and thoughtful.
