Showers were soo nice and hot.

We've stayed a a few RV parks in the past couple of years as we were late bloomers getting into the RV life. This park allows easy access to Deception Park, Annacortes, Coupeville, and all of Whidbey Island. Each day, we were less than an hour away from the next big adventure. The free air show a couple times a week from the Naval base was a nice touch. The park hosts are some of the sweetest kindest people that have ever existed. The park during our gust had many spots that were occupied by people that were on extended stays. Whether it be due to work, long vacation, or loss of house, this was an excellent destination.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and might go for a month next time. The best thing about this park is the location - literally across the street from Deception Pass State Park, 1 mile from the Deception Pass bridge and walking distance from some good fishing spots. The park itself was clean, sites were comfortable, not too small, mostly level. Clean bathrooms, decent wifi. It got pretty hot while we were there so a pool might have been nice, but other than that we enjoyed it thoroughly. Met some nice neighbors too! And the nightly community gathering on West Beach in Deception Park for the sunset is something I will always remember.

This is a really nice RV park compared to the many in the Western half of the State. No old trailers or homeless. Very upkept!

My husband and I celebrated our second anniversary the weekend of May 7-9 2021. We absolutely loved the Whidbey RV Park and cabins. This place is one of the cleanest, friendliest family oriented places. The staff and the couple running it are super sweet. There is a laundry facility , bathroom and shower room , a fenced in pet area and a playground for kiddos to play at, there's fire pits as well and big lots to park your RV or Motorhome. Our cabin blew me away. The inside is completely made out of wood. It's cozy and definitely a homey feeling. The cabin is great for a small family or a couple wanting to get away for a couple of days. There is Deception Pass State Park directly across the street from the RV park and other parks near by. Great location! Definitely we will return. Come check this place out you will be happy that you did!! The Brown's

If you arrive late, you can park and check in in the morning (now that we've been doing this for a while, that seems to be the norm). Friendly staff, gorgeous views, beach access, base police make regular rounds, and the bathroom facilities are clean and warm. It's nice to take a shower in an area big enough that if you drop something, you don't have to get out of the shower to pick it up. ;-) The dogs loved the path and the nearness of the beach for potty potty breaks. Man, this place is so windy. If I might make a recommendation...keep your awning in. Only put it out when you plan to sit under it...otherwise, keep it in. Prices are competitive. There is a playground and giant chess set. BBQ's provided at each site. Back in, pull through, 50 amp, 30 amp, tent camping, yurts, oh...and fun "art" installations along the path. If you're into tetanus PT, there's a pull-up area covered in rust!

I was hoping for an easier hike for John, and truthfully myself too, since I hiked to one of the summits at another park that morning. 3pm in the afternoon we found one side of the park is camping, but the other side has sport fields and trails. Some trails are equestrian friendly- aka, watch out for poo while hiking. The wind was gusting on this particular day and the trees were really talking- tippy tops smacking together and the rustling of leaves. We happily found a very recently completed Eagle Scout project & as a former leader and still volunteer, I was happy to see it so far out on the trail and wondered if there was more done! One the way out we realized that a tree bordering the trail had snapped from the wind! We had taken pictures of various fungi and plants at this particular spot and pictures really confirmed that it splintered in a matter of minutes from when we hiked past the first time! That startled me a bit, I know to watch out for dead fall when pitching a tent- but wow! I enjoyed how the trail weaved you in and out of dense forests and into areas with more lower vegetation. We saw animal tracks as well. Flowers were almost all gone and what was left was getting blown off with the wind of the day. I think May would have been more colorful! I'll have to hike this again next visit!

We decided to check it out, taking the perimeter trail part way and returning via the road. The trails are narrow, flat, and easy to follow. Not a whole lot to see, but lovely trees for sure. I wouldn't say it's the most peaceful spot however, with pups barking at the shelter on one side and the constant sounds of a nearby shooting range on the other. Still yet, an okay spot for a short hike...just watch for the horse poop on the path.

The park is a pleasant place to come even when there is thick wildfire smoke. The breeze from the bay might not completely clear the smoke away, but at least it provides some circulation of the air. My grandma and I like to come here and eat lunch together. We like to sit and eat at a covered pavilion stocked with picnic tables and a kitchen, though the kitchen requires advance reservation to use. A playground is adjacent to the eating area. My grandma likes to people and pet watch as we eat, I prefer to watch the water and try and spot any birds or other critters that might be out. It can get a bit cold depending on the weather and the wind. Even in the summer months, we both bring an outer garment to wear. The parking lot by the baseball fields is where we park and it can get a bit crowded if busy. Still, it is a parking lot easy to maneuver in.

I have been staying at TT La conner for 2 years as I build my new home in La Conner and my brother John died there in my motorhome at site 133 on Jan. 20, 2025. I have made many friends with the staff and many of the full-time residents have never had a problem until this horrible treatment. I had just checked in and was trying to find site 300 and I had no idea of how to get there in my 33' motorhome flat towing a car with a Road Master Tow Bar and of course it is common knowledge that if backed up without unhooking the car, serious damage can occur to the car, tow bar and motorhome that I had just filled the gas tank with 80 gallons of gasoline. This is very serious as the same model motor home (Bounder) had recently caught fire here and it was destroyed. This guy with a big belly and in a beat up old looking little car and DID NOT have any TT clothing and I had never seen him before this, blocked my motorhome started chasing me thru the park, until I stopped in front of my friend's sites and I got out to check this strangers TT ID only to find out he did not have any! He then got out of his car and went crazy in front of my new rear camera with color and sound and said "I am getting in your face and you are being kicked out of the park, leave now, go get out, go now leave and kept repeating this aggressive and threating behavior that escalated the situation putting his finger way to close to my face and escalating the situation that was witnessed by many other people and it appeared that he had a young girl in the car. I thought I was having a heart attack, seriously, I then drove swiftly to the Ranger Staton to report this person for enforcing TT rules and not being an employee per TT rules. Upon arriving at the Ranger Station my motorhome was surrounded by my friends and TT employees in golf carts and the guy in the car and then they all huddled around his car, and I watched and heard them on my rear cam getting their story straight with the "Bad Ass" (her words) manager Kelly King, I was shocked by this protocol due to my previous experience. Officer Hockenberry from Swinomish P.D. arrived at the scene and stated that guy that was harassing me did work there and that it was just a misunderstanding and it was my choice I could stay at the park or leave, I was so upset and disgusted that I decided to leave and seek medical help. I had Heart Surgery Sept 30, 2025, at Everett Providence Cardiac Surgery Center by Dr Sharma at the cost of $100,000. The next day while recovering in my MH at this park I was surprised by my friend a TT employee parked his golf cart and served me the unsigned notice that I was kicked out for 60 days with Kelly Kings name at the bottom but No signature, which does not appear to be legal in Washington State, in my opinion. Kelly was very devious 6 times when I requested the name and employee status of this vicious guy with the big belly so I could file a complaint and most likely legal action. The next evening a Red Corvette was going the wrong way at high rate of speed and parked at the lodge and jumped in a white car that left at a high rate of speed going the wrong way. Then my friend Officer Hockenberry came in hot pursuit of the Corvette stating he clocked it 80 mph on Snee Oosh near the Fire Station, how did this happen with a locked gate? I have recorded 8 vehicles going the wrong way and several exceeding the 5-mph speed limit, minors driving cars alone. In my observation, Kelly should focus on the many current problems and not be persuaded by an insecure salesman trying to play the "Ego driven, Big Man Wanna be Cop" in my observation and opinion. I have talked to my friends who are legality employed by TT and always have easily identifiable TT logo clothing and TT trucks or golf carts none of them thought this over reaction was not justified.

There's a total of 6 zip lines. They start at shorter and easier and increase in difficulty. I wouldn't say it's a very extreme zip line, there were plenty of young children doing it as well. Fun fact: the longest zip line is slightly longer than the Space Needle in length! There were about 8 people on the tour with my husband and I (not including guides). I think the only con is having to wait for everyone at every canopy which is understandable for a safety point of view but can take some time and I'm a bit impatient. But you're quite high up so I took the time to enjoy the views, peace and quiet of being in the forest! Also, a good opportunity to strike up some conversation with everyone else.
