I have had treatments from each of them and they are completely unique and inspirational. I see Jennifer more often then Phil. Phil uses non-insertion gold and silver needles and he treats kids as well as adults. I have wanted to write a review for a long time but I feel overwhelmed because I have so much to report, they have helped me in so many areas, so I have decided to take it bird by bird and break it down in an orderly way.... 1. Jennifer cured my chronic Eczema. Rash sufferers out there will know what I am talking about when I say this is just short of a miracle. I have had medium to severe outbreaks of eczema since I was a baby and no one, no doctor, has ever been able to cure it. I had actually given up any hope of a cure, I was just looking for some way to control the outbreaks. As a kid I would be called to the office at the public pool and asked about my rash that is how bad it was. My cousin had eczema too and they used to cover her body at night in searing hot towels as treatment. It is awful! Anyway, Jennifer said she would make me a salve and I totally humoured her and said okay. She made me a salve and I used it with no results. The next time I saw her she asked how the salve worked and I felt I would let her down easy and told her it was pretty nice. She said did it work? I said no. Nonplussed she said No problem I will make you another one. I had zero expectation of the salve working. Nothing has ever worked! I went to the best doctors all my life. The last bad outbreak I had I went to a dermatologist with a lot of experience hoping he would know what to do and I walked into his office and he looked at my rash and said "OMG, what is that??" I kid you not! I put the new salve from Jennifer on and I literally watched my gaping skin come back together. The skin on my hands and fingers would break apart and ooze. Ack! It was miserable. Not only did my skin clear in a week, the rash has never returned! When I asked Jennifer why, she said because the salve works systemically, the herbs are absorbed into the skin so it works topically on the skin and systemically on the root of the cause of the rash. It has been at least 5 years now with no rash. She is a genius! I am so grateful to her. Okay, this is the first installment. I will write again with my other stories. We had a gap insurance for my daughter and came here for a check up. $220 for the visit, it took 45 minutes to be seen and the front desk is run by young folks who really seem like they could care less. We told them we were cash pay and we were offered (and declined) a $140 breathing treatment (not their fault we are cash pay) and they phoned in a prescription. When we went to pick up the two inhalers we were told it would be $1100 for the two. We called the Urgent care facility and gave them the feedback and had to borrow a friend's inhaler. One week later we received a phone call from the pharmacy asking if we wanted to pick up her new, $48 inhalers. This system is broken if the true cost is $48 but the insurance cost is $550. Why did the Urgent Care facility call in the cash pay Rx knowing we were cash pay and had just turned down their breathing treatment? Why did the Urgent Care return our call to tell us they had phoned in a new Rx? This place definitely has a turn and burn vibe which is disappointing (both doctor and staff) when a sick child is involved. They didn't even give me any kind of idea what could be happening.

Dr. Karns was excellent at listening to all of my ailments, doing some standard checks on my mobility and figuring out the appropiate course of treatment. Dr. Karns found that I had a rotated pelvis from most likely a bicycle accident from 8 years ago which was causing the hip pain. She also noted that my upper spine was not as straight as it should be. Her personality was excellent, service was quick and to the point. I don't like doctor's that milk the appointments. She didn't do those crazy pretzel moves on me, but used some cool tools and treatment techniques, including ultrasound to get me back in excellent health.
