All I wanted answered is, A claim for, say, $1200 with a $500 deductable, will my rate go up and how much. Here's the response I got......yes, ANY claim you report your rate will automatically go up. They can't say how much it will increase until the claim has transpired. I know this is partially true, since I had a 2 car accident years ago with the other driver at fault. His company paid and my own insurance didn't increase. But evidently, without another driver at fault you will pay more for ANY claim your fault no matter how small it may be. Guess I am going to do some research on other companies and see what their rates are and compare.

More than 20 years ago, I filed a "not at fault" claim for an idiot who hit me while on the phone. Recently, I had an accident which involved a moron who slammed on the brakes for a yellow light 50 feet from the intersection. Although I have dash cam video, they initially refused to look at it and accepted 100% at fault on my behalf. It wasn't until after I complained to the NJ Dept. of Banking and Insurance that they looked at the video. Even still, they stood by their decision and accepted 100% fault. At most, they should have accepted 50%. So now, after 30 years of loyalty and only 1 claim, these azzholes are increasing my insurance over $500! I guess they never heard of accident forgiveness or loyalty. Do not trust this company.

When I finally spoke to her about my policies and asked if she could look into saving me some money because my insurance kept going up for no reason. She never got back to me. I shopped around and found much better insurance at a much better price. When my new agent tried to cancel my policy he had a difficult time getting in touch with her.
