He refused and we parted company. I'm over 70 years old and had been in the trades for 40 yrs., general contractor for 20+ years. Sure didn't need this kid "educating" me. They have a very poor sales model from a customer's standpoint. As others here have stated, there was no doubt he was laying the ground work to convince us to pay an excessive amount for whatever work they did. Joe made the trip to look at the job, give me an estimate, and then worked with my schedule while I purchased the door and waited for it to show up.
