I will be forever grateful to Eliot Breast Health technicians who were able to find the tiny tumor. I am forever grateful to Dr Schikman and Dr. Feldman who took such good care of me. I owe my health to them which is priceless.

I wanted to volunteer and get involved in anyway I could after my grandmother died, but they made me feel not wanted. The development officer Becky Duchesne almost always talked down to me, promised me things that never came true, and seemed to care more about her job then bringing the community together. I can't believe the powers that be would hire someone like her. I'm writing a book and was going to donate portions of the sales to the Alzheimer's association but after the way I've been treated and talk to, my money will now be allocated to another organization. My advice is to find local organizations that work Alzheimer's and have more freedom to be as creative as they want, without restrictions. I now live in LA and am beyond happy about how professional they run their organization. It's a breath of fresh air to deal with motivated people..

Brought my son in there today who has a complex and extensive medical history and wouldn't suggest…read morebringing a dog there for care. Worst patient care. Our nurse never came in. Waited 2 hours in a room with a blatant lie of, "the nurse will be right in!" The nurses and providers were at the nurses station the entire time, smoking and joking. Zero regard for patients. We left. Elliot Hospital has become such a joke. Steer clear!!!!

Again my husband was in this hospital and it is understood that there are a lot of changes going on…read moreso people should be patient. Anyway, all of the staff from admissions to discharge were fantastic. There are some needed changes such as communication but overall, very pleased. If you had a bad experience write a letter, please don't cut the hospital down for something that you feel was done to you. You are one in a million people they see and care for.

Nursing care sparse: rare bed change, tough to get drinking water. My husband's room did not have…read morehot water and in 17 days, he only got warm water to wash up with 2 times! Two med errors that I know of. Nurse admitted she forgot my husband's blood pressure medication. He was a fresh MI and it was a routine morning med! The second error I caught as he hadn't gotten his morning meds as of 11:00. I asked about it and the physician assistant from cardiology was considering raising the dose of his blood pressure medication due to high readings, The communication with the cardiothoracic team was a total clown show! We got multiple dates and times for his surgery several times a day. His after care in ICU was a much better experience but I truly can't recommend CMC in any way.
