I have wonderful experiences each of the 5 times I've required testing. My most recent experience went smoothly from making the appointment, to being taken in on time and receiving results posted to the portal exactly when they said they would be ready. My initial test results revealed that I required going back for some more diagnostic testing and a procedure. I understand that its stressful to require these tests. I think if you keep yourself in check and don't take your stress out on the place and people who perform the testing you'll be fine. Remember there are third party labs and other outside doctors involved which may hold up your results etc. For me, the scheduling, technicians, nurse and physician were all amazing! I found everyone I encountered caring, competent and thorough in following up on aftercare from the procedure. It was overall a great experience for a not so great reason. I'd recommend going here and I myself would go back 1,000 more times ....but hope I never have to. read more

My son had an appointment here, and the experience was deeply upsetting. When we walked in, three staff members were sitting at the desk. One of them completely ignored us and was outright rude. After we waited for 10 minutes, the staff member on the right finally asked if we had an appointment. Meanwhile, the lady in the center acted like she didn't want anything to do with us. However, the moment an elderly couple walked in, that same employee instantly jumped up to help them. It is heartbreaking to see this kind of blatant bias happening right here in Danbury. If you cannot treat everyone with equal respect regardless of their background, you shouldn't be working in patient care. People can see right through this behavior. There is no women's center. At a recent mammogram, sitting waiting with a flimsy gown along with another lady who was quite elderly, 2 men were brought through our supposed women's waiting area at different times. I was uncomfortable with this. The elderly lady looked extremely uncomfortable. This is not acceptable. Look for a proper woman's care facility that cares about your comfort level. read more

This is a very unprofessional practice. I attempted to schedule an appointment for over a week and never received a call back. When I finally reached a representative who was willing to speak with me and explain the situation, I was told that in order to schedule an appointment I would need to physically go to my previous doctor, pick up an imaging CD, bring it to this office so they could download the images, and then return the CD to my doctor afterward. In other words, I would need to miss a full day of work just to accommodate them in doing their job. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I do not recommend wasting your time or insurance at this facility. read more

Horrible experience. We had a 3pm appointment for an MRI and weren't seen until 4:45 pm. Office manger offered no apology and was rude.

Good service. Good pricing. A MRI or simple chest x ray costs hundreds of dollars less than any hospital chain x-ray service with the same insurance. read more

I was a little worried considering some of the other reviews, but my experience was very pleasant. The technician doing my CT scan was very caring. I'm a big wuss. She showed me how far I would be going in before the scan started. She was wonderful. I wish I remembered her name. The only complaint I have, and this isn't their fault, is that my insurance approved this site. My out of pocket is going to be double it would have been if I had gone to Putnam Hospital. Putnam Hospital is 10 minutes from me, this site is 30 minutes. Again not their fault. It's Cigna's fault. Cigna sucks. read more

Terrible patient experience. Shabby office with dirty carpet and scuffed walls. Staff are like robots, rushing through tasks, never engage with patients by actually greeting or looking at you. They talk so fast that you're never sure what they are saying. Long wait before screening. No gowns available unless you ask for them. Technician didn't review medical history or provide explanation of the procedure. I will go elsewhere when I need diagnostic radiology. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. For starters, it took no less than 4 hours to make the appt for a mammogram. The back and forth between my doctor and this awful place was nothing short of a nightmare. When I got to the facility, they STILL had the incorrect script. I had a shoulder MRI at the Brewster location in February 2022 & was told multiple times it was actually mammogram - literally being called a liar and when I advocated for myself, the tech SLAMMED HER DOOR. Not like this isn't a stressful situation to begin with, it was made far worse by the staff. I got my doctor to call and finally got the treatment I needed. Do NOT come to Northeast Radiology. It is not a professional or caring environment at all. read more

Walking out of there, I vowed never to go back. I first walked in, to be the only person in line, and was ignored by the two receptionists for a full 3-4 minutes. No, "be with you in a moment," or anything - just completely ignored as if I weren't even there. Zero hospitality. Then, I had the ultrasound - for fetal growth ultrasound. I was disappointed and very surprised to learn that a radiology practice as large and sophisticated as this, doesn't have a screen for the expecting mother to view the images during the procedure. Stared at a white ceiling for 25 minutes. Not one glimpse of the baby. read more

Let's face it, some of the types of tests, and reasons for them, are decidedly more stressful, and could use a bit of TLC. This facility in Danbury CT is failing when it comes to just being professional with results/explanations/everything that is done at places in CT where the people are treated with respect and dignity. They are either so immune to the negative comments that they just feed on it. A worker named Olga is the absolute worst with understanding that people deserve to be called quickly (within 24 hours) if a mammogram is showing the need for further imaging. this person will actuall yell and reprimand the patient stating it is not THEIR JOB to call any patient. Quite WRONG! Please ask her to stop saying that. PLEASE. Also, your PORTAL WOULD eliminate much negative reviews. Patients are trying to be healthy. We are not trying to ruin her day. read more

The front office staff are super helpful, nice, and accommodating. The low rating is due to the interaction I had with the woman doing my ultrasound (I'm pregnant). This was my first ultrasound and my husband and I were super excited to see the baby. The woman taking care of us was unkind, did not communicate how I needed to prepare for the ultrasound and then asked "what are you doing?" When I sat on the exam table (she did not give any instructions ‍). The entire experience was disappointing. read more

Some bullets: - 20 minute hold to get a phone call answered inc'l making an appt - staff called with safety instructions asked me to call back, left no name, no extension, said they must speak with me at least 1 day prior to appt....Call back 3X; wait 20 minutes each time, they disconnected me(hung up) 1st try, 2nd try tech is with a patient and 3rd effort - never mind we will talk to you when you get here. - Arrive at appt time - turns out they lied - appt was not at 8:30 they say it was arrv at 8:30 for a 9am appt so you sit. - they hand me a stack of paperwork at arriva - why didn't you snd this to me? PDF? mail? No desk, must fill out on my lap. Doctor picked this place for me - there are better operators in the area. read more

Nothing like getting hung up on twice after long extended holds then treated poorly when you do get to speak with a scheduling person. Tried to follow up on an MRI order that I had spoken to a NE rep on twice before. They said they were working on it previously because my provider was not in the system. Today, no history that I had anything that was being worked on. Lots of wasted time and got treated like a piece of crap! Happy Monday you bunch of crab apples! read more

The staff were professional, polite and most off all extremely kind. A rarity nowadays. I had an MRI with contrast done on 7/17. I was greeted warmly and treated with respect. I've been suffering from a c-spine deformity that reared it's head beginning in May of 2018 after I was rear ended on 1-84. I was 15 years old when I broke my neck in a diving accident. I'm a 55 year old man now who has a quality of life that is near zero. Everyone at Northeast on Sand Pit in Danbury treated me with kindness and compassion. They made sure that I was comfortable. I haven't been able to lay flat for a couple of weeks, so going in for my MRI, I was extremely nervous. My nervousness disappeared quickly because of the way I was treated by every member of the staff. Thank you Northeast on Sand Pit. If I need any more pics, I won't bat an eye and return. I appreciate this practices stated interest in protecting the public from covid 19 during visits, however, their own staff are not wearing masks correctly (gapping and slipping off the front of their noses), more than 5 people in the waiting area, and absolutely no attention to ventilation. I almost left before my procedure. Is it true that for profit medicine can't spare the time to educate staff and to purchase a hepa filter or 2? Shame on you all for pretending to care right as there is an explosion in cases in our town. I would hope that medical providers would be role models in this area. read more

I had a test done at Northeast Radiology on 67 Sand Pit Road. It is safe to say that I will never go there again, and neither would I recommend that place because of the following reasons - 1. There were two technicians present and both were extremely insensitive. Here it is important to keep in mind that I was in a fragile state of mind and the procedure was quite invasive in nature. 2. I had an appointment at 11:15 in the morning and after some waiting, I had the test done. After repeated requests from the nurses at my doctor's office, even at 4 pm in the evening, the written reports of the test had not arrived at my doctor's office. I would have had some peace of mind if I had known exactly what was wrong with me. In such delicate situations, I would assume that time is of the essence. So, apart from being uncaring they are also slow and inefficient. read more

I got taken right away. Everyone was very pleasant. I got the report in a timely manner. I just called to get another copy (I can't find mind) and the woman could not have been more accommodating. She faxed it over to the Dr who needed it and put another copy in the mail to me. read more

My husband and I have had numerous CAT scans, Xrays , MRI performed by Northeast Radiology. The service was excellent, We had a situation where my husband required a CAT scan and MRI to be done immediately. The staff coordinated obtaining the Prescription from an out of town provider and arranged the test in a timely fashion. We were given the CD immediately for The MD to review. This fast and compassionate service sped up my husbands treatment plan and rehabilitation. We prefer to have all diagnostic testing done at Northeast Radiology.
