I was seen while at GCMC, hospital by Dr. Jerome Jordan, for right vision loss. He wrote in his report that I was lying, he Cleary did not know how to do a report, he said MRI was fine, then said it was ordered. Then I see him on today's date August 10, 2018. For same thing no right eye vision. He said again I was making it up, but yet I cannot see, then He said that I don't need to see anyone else. He is the only one I can see. He said and confirmed I have no right vision, but yet says that I am making it up. But the MRI shows right eye issues. He is incompetent and very rude. Northeastern eye insitute has been my families eye doctor since I was a little kid. They have always been more than friendly with me and asking how they may help me as soon as I walk through the door. People who complained about a little bit of a wait clearly don't understand that there is a thing called patience . It is a lot easier for someone to go out of their way to write a poor review when they are upset than it is for someone to want to write one when they are satisfied . So I just wanted to go out of my way to say northeastern eye has always been more than friendly and always over the top with helping me and my eyes issues. read more

I went to Northeastern Eye Institute and Dr Jerome Jordan for cataract surgery. My experience for this was stellar. Dr Jordan is very careful and through in his work and explanation of everything. He gives suggestions based on your eyes of what lenses will be best for each individual. (another place I went to said they only used one lense for everyone)... The facility for the surgery feels just like you are in a regular hospital and all necessary steps are taken to make sure the patient is comfortable and everything goes as planned. I am also very pleased with the outcome of my cataract surgery. I wore glasses my whole life (since 4 yrs of age) and now at 61 I can go without glasses for almost everything I do (and I still work and do alot of time on the computer). I don't know about going here for routine eye checkups. For all the people who are complaining about the wait times, why don't you go somewhere else? I look at NEI as a specialized place to go for more complex eye issues (which is why you see lots of old people in the waiting rooms). These are the people who have those problems. read more

Horrible. Everyone is SO rude. I was overcharged for my glasses (over $100), but still had to pay the costs upfront for my glasses to even be ordered. I contacted my insurance provider and they agreed that I was overcharged. I was told my refund check was processed and sent out on 5/20, 3 weeks later still nothing. I called the office and they were rude to me (not surprised) they told me i should be receiving my check any day now. week and a half later, still nothing. I call the office again, they tell me that the check was never processed even though my account says it was and I should receive it within 2 weeks. I just makes me laugh how I have to pay upfront, but they can take their sweet time. Maybe I'll receive that check this year, but won't count on it. read more

What a crew...you go in and get weird looks from a bunch of woman sitting behind the counter and if you're lucky someone will grumble "can I help you." These are the most unfriendly bunch of women that I've ever seen. I would prefer to see Dr. F. at any other location than this one. I do not recommend this location at all. I would have sworn that I entered the "Twilight Zone." read more

Will not be back. I do not expect to wait for more than 45 minutes in a waiting room for a very simple appointment. I could see people who arrived after me come and go. I always make sure to show up at least 10 minutes early to an appointment, but obviously the courtesy doesn't go the same way. read more
