DONT GO HERE ! Literally the most RUDE customer service ever, I remember one time walking in just to look at the puppies there was a guy with a good English accent and he was nice at that time . Now today I go there to actually purchase items for my aquarium and it was the same guy and I had talked to him in a nice way trying to learn more about what to purchase for my salt water aquarium and simply had told me in such a rude way to not even bother and that I won't be able to take care of it. Like fucking excuse me I'm here as a customer to put money in your pockets. I never was rude to you and just wanted to buy stuff after the rude reply and I just browsed by myself with absolute no help. with the disgusting odor and the lack of respect I left less that 5 minutes in that stores. Idk what's wrong with that guy either he is fucked up in the head or bipolar af ridiculous. I would never purchase anything there because they have little puppies and cats in cages, in very sad and unhealthy conditions. My heart aches even writing about it. It really is terrible, and they should be shut down because of that. However, I would give them a second chance if they focused only on fish, and stopped selling pups and cats.Their selection of fish was actually very nice, and they looked very healthy. So, I think I just got lucky. I've wanted a dog for at least 5 years now... I researched FOR HOURS and visited a few pet stores to find my perfect Poovanese puppy (Poodle + Havanese). My boyfriend and I visited 1/2/16 and the first thing that hits you is the smell in the store... really overpowering... they need to step up their air circulation! So, we head upstairs and see a bunch of cages stacked together with some sad looking puppies. I explain what I am looking for and the attendant pulls out a Maltese (which I would have been okay with at the time) but she just looked so sad! Although the attendant upstairs was nice enough, he was very rough with the puppies, saw them as just another "thing on the shelf," talked about other Customers openly and was just too blunt with everything he said! He mentioned that a Poovanese would be arriving the following week, so I told him I would be back... I came back a few days later and totally fell in love with my baby! I did not have my house ready for him, so I told him I would be back at the end of the week- I paid a down payment in order to hold him for me and picked him up. After visiting the vet, he is doing fine except he has Giarda. The medicine was only $13 but when I researched how a puppy gets infected, it's pretty friggin' gross... by eating or coming in contact with contaminated fecal matter. Anyway, we're only on day 2 out of 5 of the medicine but it hasn't stopped my puppy (he doesn't eat a ton but I'm thinking when he's better, he'll eat more). I think what saved me from having a terrible experience was the fact that my puppy only spent about 4 days in this place.... if it were any longer I think I would have a very different outcome. I will say that the owner of the store, an older lady is completely miserable! I don't know if it's because she needs some more love in her life but she's just nasty! I only had one conversation with her over the phone that lasted less than 3 minutes but that was enough for me. The gentleman that rang us up on the final day was awesome! He was engaging, gave us some tips and was all around pleasant! He also seemed very informed about all dog breeds. He did mention that the puppies are LOCKED UP FOR 23 HOURS WITH JUST 1 HOUR TO PLAY!!!!! Sorry, for the essay but I know if you're anything like me, you read every review out there in order to make your decision. My puppy came fixed and microchipped which alleviated some of my tasks so I was happy about that. If anything changes, as my puppy ownership is very new, I will update. This place is very nice, and there are a lot of animals to choose from. The fish are healthy and the staff are kind and helpful to the max if you know how to speak Chinese, but otherwise they do try their best with speaking English. I've gotten two dogs from here, along with a few fish and they are all still alive and well, over all these years. The prices are very great, tanks are cheap as long as you know what you want and avoid the showy packages (which really just are not worth it, but of course carrying them is a plus for the store). Customer service is good and fair, and the store doesn't charge tax. Overall, I'm glad to have this place available to me. read more

Anyway, the guy in upstairs take care and help us a lot and explain a lot information to treat a new puppy. My dog died after a month of buying it. I bought a sweet little Pomeranian here for 3,000. I took it to the vet after I got it to make sure everything was ok because the dog kept coughing. He was riddled with worms and kennel cough and had an old injury to its leg that needed surgery. I went back to the place and told the woman at the counter in a very cordial way and she and her husband started getting aggressive with me for mentioning that they sold me a sick dog. I should be the one that's mad but my concern was my dog and I'm not a confrontational person. My dog started convulsing a few days after this and she ended up dying of kidney failure. It. Was after I bought my dog that read all the horrible reviews on this place for selling people puppy mill dogs that are sick. I went back to the place to get a refund and try to get reimbursed for atleast some of the vet bill and they got aggressive with me again. My vet told me this place puts down dogs in their basement that get returned and they aren't able to sell. I'm going to talk to my lawyer to see what I can do about getting my money back from these heartless evil people. Don't waste your time here and don't give them your money. To Dear The Killa D. I know the owner, he is not the man you was talking about. In summer, I went there to try to find a job there and I met the owner, he is the man Jacob G talked about. The man you talked about is one of the partner of that shop. I quit after talking to the trainee because I know they will not pay 7.25(minimum legal wage for NY per hour), I talked to one trainee before and he has only 6 dollars per hours and he has to do all the miserable dirty jobs when 3 to 4 workers standing in the front and do nothing. And they never care about their animal much especially the fishes, they won't cure or try to help the fishes when they are sick or injury, they kill them by ramming they in the back of the shop where the rabbit is. Got my beautiful baby boy here, and so happy I saved him out of the disease infested place! I bought a morkie, as soon as I took him out I brought him to the vet four days later. It was my first time as a pet owner so I didn't know what to expect from a puppy I thought sleeping all day was normal from google reviews but once he stopped eating I knew something was off!!! I took him immediately to the vet and he was diagnosed with parasites due to eating feces of other dogs! When he weighed in he was 2 pounds initially when I took him to get diagnosed he lost 3 ounces and the vet was scared. He was put on medication, and thank god after a few days of force feeding him baby food he started eating on his own. ONE problem down another two to tackle !!! The second problem after this was my puppy was constantly scratching! And had a constant sneeze another vet visit and hundreds of dollars later we were told to wash his fur with a special shampoo because of some type of infection and that he had a cold. Fast forward another ten days, from what I thought was a little sneeze turned into full blown kennel cough!!! After $110 dollar throat swab results came back positive. My poor baby isn't able to sleep all night due to the Kennel cough and now needs to be on two different types of medications twice a day!! Thankfully after 10 days of medicine he's doing better but he will still be doing another round. Because of the horrible conditions the puppies are in, once one pup has kennel cough every dog in there does as well! The owner actually told me the puppies are locked up 23 hours a day!!!! With only 1 hour of play!!!! They are locked in two at a time in one cage and now my puppy has a horrible habit of still eating his own feces sometimes, that I'm trying to break. All in all I am so happy I saved him from that place, but PLEASE to save the headache and money and concern take your money and go somewhere else !!! Adopt don't shop. I learned my lesson. read more

I bought a toy poodle from them this past weekend they told me she was extremely healthy with no problems at all I took her to the vet they found GR which is a stomach condition.. I've tried calling the store several times they don't answer.. I am not planning to give her back.. I don't need her to suffer in that environment.. the vet told me they should have mentioned it to me that she had an issue.. Not only that I have me be careful during the heeling process bc the vet said it can pass to me and cause problems.. I love this puppy I fell in love with her from the second I laid my eyes on her.. Buying an animal is not the same a buying a brand new lv bag. surprised your puppy is sick for the $$$ you just paid. It's all on you. Pet $tore$ are businesses. They exist only for profit and motivated by the money "you" have decided to throw their way. Selling a sick dog to you, it still selling "a dog" to you. They are simply passing the product/dog to you from puppy mills. Don't expect your dog to be neutered/spayed, up-to-date with shots and treated for common problems - IT IS NOT COST EFFICIENT. If you want a puppy that has all the mentioned, skip the pet store and head straight to the aspca or nearest shelter - where you can adopt a puppy (all breeds, all sizes, etc) with all shots, and treatments at a fraction of what you would ever pay at a pet store. So please stop promoting this horrible heartless industry. Reading these reviews break my heart, but I'm mostly angry because none of this would happen if it wasn't for the customers! I came here twice. Their puppies are located on the third floor in a separate room and are stuck in cages. They all look extremely sad. I started asking questions about the pups and the guy on the second floor was so rude. He said to stop asking so many questions. As a customer i think i have the right to ask as many questions as possible to make the best decision. I asked if he had any border collies and spoke about the puppies like they were merchandise and said that they could order them. They don't seem to care about the dogs, only about making money. Do yourself a favor and go to Q Puppies across the street. They are much cleaner,cheaper and actually care about the puppies. read more

I would give 0 star on this aquarium store. First of all, the price are way too high compare to other fish store or online price. One 20 lb of live sand cost 40 dollar here but other fish store or petco website only around 27 dollar. Price is big difference. I ask the woman work there if she can lower the price a little bit because compare to other place, the price is really high. She just gave me a bad attitude and say if you don't like it, just get outta here and buy from other place in a rude way. I finally bought the 20 lb live sand from other fish store that only sell for 27 dollar. I am telling ya...Don't be stupid to buy stuff here, there are many better price from other store. If there was an option to not give any stars, I would. The best thing that came out of this place is I have my beautiful female pug. I bought my puppy here and seriously I would never go back to this place. I brought my puppy to the vet shortly after for shots and they found a hernia just bulging out. If she has it, mother or father definitely has it and they should not be breeding. I was so upset not only because she is tiny and delicate, but because she has to go through surgery to repair it and also the cost of this expensive surgery. Regardless, we are going to do it because we love her so much and she is part of the family now. After I left vet, I called pet store explaining what happened and the woman said oh no problem, just bring her back. Ummmm, to her it's that easy. I told her I wanted the money for the cost of the surgery which was $500. She did not want to hear it saying she was not responsible and that it was the breeders responsibility but I explained to her she obviously uses that breeder so all is responsible. She did not want to give me anything. She seemed so careless. Long story short, it took about 3 weeks of horrible communication to get $250 for the surgery meanwhile it's $500 like I mentioned. I obviously was not lying because I told her to call my vet which she did. I want to add that i really feel like all puppies there are mistreated or not given any attention at all. When we went upstairs, all puppies looked sooooooooo sad like all they wanted was attention and love including my baby. As soon as they put her in my arms, she would not stop licking me and wagging her fast curly tail. My puppy is still scared of everything and jumps to the sound of a pin drop! I feel like she is definitely scared or maybe remembers something bad. To them, they literally are just animals and trying to make money. If you're going to run a business especially selling puppies, you should have a love for them. Across the street is another pet store, same prices and when we went, they had all puppies playing and running in the back. We saw them through a glass and it was so cute. Reason why we didn't go with them is because they didn't have a pug which we really wanted but the treatment there was so much better. Definitely would go there if we wanted another puppy. read more

i bought a cocker spaniel from here, and has pneumonia, i called the shop they told me its gonna be fine, and gave me "clavamax", i was so worried i took her to vet, and its pneumonia, will cost $3000 to treat, i called the shop, they still told me the dog has no problem just little cold, as long as she's eating and drinking ok, then they told me to bring the dog back they will treat her, so i brought her back the next day, i know theres a lemon law for pet, i didn't ask them to reimburst the vet bill, i got another dog( a cute little maltese) and i told them, i still want the cocker spaniel after she's treated. a week later they called me and told me they sold the dog, she's still coughing but the couple really likes her, i was so pissed, obviously, they paid more than i did, but i still have her registration and everything. and they're not even supposed to sell the unhealthy dog!!! i gave them 2 star because of the maltese i purchased from here is healthy, i would not recommend anybody to buy from here. read more
