Price was not an issue, however, when the staff was continually apologizing for their unprofessionalism, that should've been my first red flag. Drawing blood is not that difficult, however, after six pokes and getting 1/5 of what was ultimately needed, AND blowing through one of my veins (15-day bruising!) they gave up, thank goodness. The staff performed various tests, and in my opinion, they were guessing as much as they were performing properly. I heard many comments between them, on their poor performance, when they didn't think I could hear them. On the second visit, I met the doctor and he was very negative in his approach. Please note I am a very healthy person, with a VERY positive view of dentistry. He never even touched my mouth, other than to point to one tooth. His assistant was taking notes on a computer the entire time, and she had an extremely loud sniffing, wet, runny nose that she kept wiping and not cleaning her hands. After the doctor was done with me, she came face-to-face with me at the desk and was touching everything, including the pen, she was handing me to sign my name. Again, she did not wash her hands, and she had been wiping the snot out of her nose with that same hand for the past 45 minutes. Even though I had told the doctor I had pain in one tooth, he didn't want to schedule me for even a cleaning for a minimum of 2 1/2 months. The assistant's job was to sell me on all of the products and vitamins that they sold, and she wanted me to also take home their $400 2-night sleep test, which I declined. (I think I paid around $1800+ for this mess). I realized upon leaving, that they probably make most of their money off of inciting fear into their patients. However, I am very familiar with dentistry and would rather go to a professional who cares more about my teeth. I wrote a long note to the dentist, and delivered it on the next workday. It had all of my concerns written down, however, the assistant took it, and I'm fairly certain she never handed it to the doctor because I have not heard from them since. It has now been a couple of months. Very sad, because I would've been, happy to refer friends and family, had I had a good experience. WORD TO THE WISE: if you just want to throw your money at a doctor, and never actually be treated, this is the guy. He also has a practice in Gillette, WY.

Nobody in this area is accepting Medicaid and I've been suffering with this tooth for 2 years. I told them I would pay cash for the tooth removal since they don't accept my insurance. These people flat refused to even schedule me and get me the medical care i need when I have an active infection and offered to pay them cash at time of service. Pretty sad that this is how they treat members of the community.

My daughter was given frames that were clearly too small for her, and when I brought this up, I was told they couldn't be adjusted any further. I knew that wasn't accurate, so I took them elsewhere--only to be told that the frames were the wrong size to begin with and couldn't be properly adjusted because they were too small for her head. When I returned to Eye Love Spearfish, Dr. Randolph's wife took my daughter's glasses and ended up breaking them. She claimed there was a preexisting crack, but the spot she indicated made no sense given how the glasses had been handled, and I had inspected them right before we walked in--they were intact. Even after that, they refused to order properly fitting frames and simply reordered the same (too-small) ones again. The selection of frames is very limited, and the customer service--particularly in the optical area--was disappointing. Dr. Randolph may be great, but the experience with the staff and eyewear services was frustrating and unprofessional.
