There are also two gyms, a bank, grocery store, Petco, and Rite Aid to name just a few businesses located at Montecito Plaza. Lots of parking, though during busy times the parking lot can get busy, but there is an overflow lot on the side of the shopping center. The shopping center is located right on the canal so you can watch the yachts and other boats go up and down the canal which is fun. Every year during the holidays they have the lighted boat parade which is super fun and well attended. Montecito Plaza is at a great location because you can easily access it off the freeway or if you are going through town. There is a Peet's Coffee across the street if you need to boost your caffeine levels and a Whole Foods Market across the street if you can't find everything you need at TJ's.

The shopping center is always clean. Seldom will you find litter or debris on the ground. In the past few year, more upscale shops have opened their doors to appease the local Soccer moms, including Spanish Table, West Elm, Lavande Nail Spa, and Athleta. You certainly won't find a Target, Panda Express or $1 Store in this mall. Welcome to Mill Valley, folks. My car was hit while parked at their shopping center by their hired security guard driving a golf cart. He was was driving while looking behind him while driving forward. Came to a stop when he hit me. He admitted he had not been paying attention when he collided with my car. When it came time to for the repairs their representative informed me that they would not be covering repairs because they were not at fault. Their management office twisted what happened and provided insurance with false information. Regrettably, In good faith I did not call the police to come out for a statement at the time of the incident. Luckily, I did have an eye witness who had provided me with her information at the time of the incident and is willing to testify to what she saw the incident as it happened. I never expected this from such a well known establishment in our community.
