I don't recommend anyone do business with this shopping center. The people who run this shopping center and the people who represent them have terrible integrity. My car was hit while parked at their shopping center by their hired security guard driving a golf cart. He was was driving while looking behind him while driving forward. Came to a stop when he hit me. He admitted he had not been paying attention when he collided with my car. When it came time to for the repairs their representative informed me that they would not be covering repairs because they were not at fault. Their management office twisted what happened and provided insurance with false information. Regrettably, In good faith I did not call the police to come out for a statement at the time of the incident. Luckily, I did have an eye witness who had provided me with her information at the time of the incident and is willing to testify to what she saw the incident as it happened. I never expected this from such a well known establishment in our community. read more

OUTDOOR MALLS: Bon Air is an outdoor mall in Greenbrae where you can run errands go shopping, play and meet friends. Whatever your day calls for, discover it here. They have over 50 stores which is amazing because it looks so small but what I love is there is plenty of outdoor seating and with this pandemic I really love that ! My favorite places here are Gotts Roadside fir their burgers , Oyama for the sushi, orange theory for exercise and Mollie Stones for grocery shopping ! They also have The Bar Method, Stretch Lab, a massage place , cleaners, alterations place, Peets, Susies cakes, style bar , optical, children's clothing store, women's clothing store and jewelry stores! I love supporting local so this is why I recommend Bon Air! Support local businesses so they can thrive read more

There is always parking. Even when it's busy, there is parking. When you're busy and on the way to or from a hike, this is important. Banks, coffee places, gyms, and other places in this quaint shopping center. We're almost always here for Mollie Stone's. The traffic light to easily signal us in and out is very much appreciated. Its proximity to the freeway makes this shopping center a family favorite. Minus 1 star because you're trusting drivers not to run you over in the parking lot. I'm sure they could have figured a way to make this safer but that would have likely come at the expense of all the parking spots we love so much. read more

Very nice area with PLENTY of options like Gott's, Noah's Bagels and Mollie Stone's, but not at all mall-walkable or pedestrian-friendly. Please review footage and keep an eye on esp some of the prissy older guests; they're rude AF constantly loitering/ being nosy and making the rest of us very uncomfortable, why do they have to gawk and wave like a little school girl at total strangers? Going through malls have seen a creep old guy make some wrong gesture toward a kid and embarrass himself! This is predatory and avoidable! This happens esp by Road Runner Burrito a lot; can understand you had to kick a guy out of the mall for standing outside there at a cart and hassling/ mouthing off at you guessed it passerby. Other customers getting into it like this is not as pleasant a part of the experience and why will try not to mall walk or sift around too much when there, as said, just not very comfortable. No "welcome" sense. So aside from restaurants perhaps lacking a bit of awareness about some of the conduct like old creeps pestering young people, it really is a good place to hang out; plenty of seats (haha) so you can sit down and get a lot of work done. There don't seem to be fights between dogs every five minutes like at some other malls. It's still a relatively quiet and routine place, just the oldie issue is annoying. $8.6 Uber from Ross Commons! Sorry for the obvious aside. It's just that I recently turned urban flâneur in sunny Marin after being stuffed to the gills, and somehow, a pied, landed at dry Phoenix Lake. But way too tired to hike back. Back to my car, which was parked here. With shops that anchor such as Jamba, Peets, Mollie Stones, Victoria's Bakery, Patxi's Pizza, Woodlands (pets), both BofA, Chase, and Bank of Marin banks, Bon Air center is very large and sprawling. One can enter from the west, north, or east. If coming from the SR Br, however, I highly reco turning into that street that starts with "E", which has a dedicated left hand turn lane. It's busy along SFDrake Blvd! Parking will indeed fill up as it did that Saturday. But one indeed will find parking, and it's nothing like the trial of one's patience as it would be to head to SF. At the junction of 580 and 101, which makes it very convenient. Heart of Greenbrae! read more

Wow - they've done quite the makeover on the Bon Air Center! This might be the best shopping mall in Marin. Beautiful landscaping; family-friendly; bocce ball court; plenty of (free) parking; a wide variety of stores; Mt. Tam views... who could ask for anything more? Aside from its cosmetic upgrades, Bon Air has really done a good job of updating their biz portfolio. In the past, you might have come here for Mollie Stone's, David O'Brian, CVS, Chevy's; Papa Murphy's, etc. But man oh man, they've really stepped up their game. You can now grab coffee at Peet's, get a burger at Gott's Roadside, snag a burrito at Roadrunner; buy some chew toys for your puppy @ Woodland's Pet Store; feast on sushi @ Oyama; exercise @ Orange Fitness or The Bar Method; or just simply unwind @ Elements Massage. Bon Air Center has got everything covered. This mall is the real deal. read more

I've shopped at Bon Air for years--getting everything from shoes to coffee to pet food. I've almost always had a good experience there, and I'm not saying that's changed, but the last time I was there I noticed what seemed to be a sort of temporary store (like the kind that sells Halloween costumes right before Halloween) selling super cheap cashmere. How can you not love Bon Air Shopping Center? There are not many places where you can: 1) buy groceries for dinner (Mollie Stones); 2) have your hair blown out (The Style Bar); 3) get your workout on (The Bar Method); 4) buy a fancy sweater for your dog (Woodlands Pet Food); and 5) get your paycheck deposited (at one of the 5 banks in the shopping center)? And you can do all that and more without ever moving your car. I find myself going to Bon Air a lot not just because it's convenient, but also because they have great shops and restaurants. read more

I really like this shoe store. They carry a brand called Archipedigo that has a really comfortable foot bed. They are helpful and the overall experience there is really great. My favorite shoe store in Marin, hands down. read more

This is for the pop-up The Cashmere Shop. We drove through rush hour traffic from SF to Greenbrae and got there at 5:50pm to find the doors locked and lights out. They close at 6pm as posted but they don't have a phone number to call and verify store hours. I took a picture of the posted hours too bad they closed early tonight. I agree w/Brendan up to and including the [so called] security service "guards." I've been going to Bon Air for the last 18 years, frequently on my bike. I'm responsible and I watch out for cars and pedestrians. But I get the snake-eye from the guards when I'm there. However, today's incident took the cake. 2 young men followed alongside me as I walked and shopped from Subway to Mollie Stones. They kept making noises as they circled me - on their bikes - on the shopping sidewalk, making noises that men make in NYC to disrespect a woman and allude to her sex. I became angry/frightened as they circled and increased their nonsense. I dodged into stores begging to get the shopping center guards. Storekeepers said they were too busy. I stopped shopping, left quickly and came back an hour later, armed w/pictures of the young idiots to discuss w/the "guards" - who were nowhere to be seen. The SAME so-called "guards" - who openly harass me on my bike - said patronizingly: "What do you want me to do? I was born and raised in Marin and it's getting bad; Did you call the police?" WTF? OK...I get it. If you're a woman, you get to be harassed and humiliated w/NO response from the patronizing and rude guards, and if you're a careful cyclist you get the "proactive safety" lecture...right. Marin. Love this shopping center! I often frequent the BofA, the Peet's coffee, Mollie Stones, CVS and Jamba Juice. Plenty of parking. My family always gets our Christmas tree from here during the holidays. Really nice outdoor seating areas along the restaurant areas read more

I have recently discovered this shopping center and much to my delight it is truly a wonderful place. The selection of shops here is amazing - anything from the groceries to home stuff, to pretty cool clothing shops. Also the restaurant selection is good - nothing fancy, of course, but very nice. A good crepe place, a nice bakery, with the coffee that they roast themselves. Plenty of parking and right off the freeways. I will absolutely stop here every time I am in the area. read more

I love being a Barber at THE RANCH SALON in this shopping center, everything you need is here, people are friendly, I love Peets coffee. Mollie stones. Beautiful view out the salon windows. I live minutes away but rarely go there anymore. I could always go to David M. Brian to buy any kind of gift - not anymore - they're gone! So is the spot to go and have breakfast. I'm not talking about Starbucks or Peet's - a REAL little restaurant. Bon Air Center has really gone downhill. What a disappointment this is now. read more
