The office is absolutely gorgeous. They really take the time and effort to make the experience as pleasant as possible. The patient beds/chairs are comfortable and I was given some headphones with relaxing music while they worked. The whole process didn't take too long and it was as painless as it could be! I've been back several times, both for cleanings and additional work. They got me in quickly for an urgent pain situation a while back and remedied the situation right then and there, thanks GOSH*! Now my bedside/office experience--this was the most comfortable any doctor has ever made me feel. The chairs have heat and massage; the staff are all incredibly friendly; Dr. Schindler explains every process while you are in the chair, ensures comfort, and makes sure your smile is perfect; Bella is my favorite assistant I have ever had (thorough and just so kind); they are organized and on top of their game. My experience with Dr. Schindler and her entire staff has been resoundingly positive. Everyone at the office is professional and courteous. The entire experience is tailored to someone seeking higher quality and more refined care. There are several small attention to detail items that the office has thought about when it comes to patient care, and makes for an enjoyable visit while at the office. Where I was really impressed is the amount of time each member of the staff spends with you, talking to you, hearing you out, and getting to know you and where they can help you. Dr. Schindler's focus and eye for detail translate into what I would call superior esthetic dentistry.

I was told they were in network with insurance (just to be told later that they are not in network with any insurance, although they accept all insurance). I was also told the cost of my first appointment would be $195 regardless of whether I had insurance. This was a lie, as they charged another $300+ out of my limited dental insurance benefits after the appointment). The doctor and staff seemed super nice at my first appointment, so when they told me I would need to prepay thousands of dollars for my upcoming treatment which would take place over several months (which should have been a red flag), I agreed. I told them in advance that anesthesia does not work well on me and I usually require extra. The day of the exam, I asked if they would be using a topical anesthesia prior to the novocaine shot and I was told they would. A few minutes later, Dr. Gupta came in and administered the novacaine without using any topical anesthesia. Then, during the procedure, when I expressed that I was in pain, Dr, Gupta told me it wasn't pain and that I needed to shut up and not distract him, and then he shoved gauze into my mouth, over my tongue. I had also been told that I had paid for a cleaning and that it would be done at the time of the procedure to make sure the area was clean, and yet when I asked about it the day of the procedure, I was told that he just wanted to get it done and wasn't going to clean it. I never got that cleaning and was later told that I had been lied to and that it was not included in the first appointment package as I had been told. When I decided to discontinue treatment here and requested a refund for the prepayment, I was told it could not be refunded to my credit card (even though they only accepted payment through card) and could only be sent via check in the mail. I requested it on the first of the month and explained that I needed the funds back ASAP so I could afford further treatment elsewhere. I continued to follow up with them all month as I had not received my check. On the 26th of the month, I was told to wait another week or two and then they would resend if I hadn't received it. At that point, I was up against the deadline to file a dispute with my credit card, so I did so on the 29th. I was informed a few days later that the check (which supposedly was issued on the 15th) had been cancelled. I finally received it a few days later in the mail, postmarked on the 30th (which means it was most likely not even sent until after I filed the dispute). It also took me calling and emailing multiple times for them to finally send my records to my new dentist.
