Theres Nothing I have to offer, theres no words I can express, I wish I could change that but I…read morecant. But the one thing I will and do is I give the Honest Feedback because let's face it were all broken, we all hurt, we all struggle with something. I searched all over Ohio for help with my right lower bottom last tooth. I was carrying dental insurance just on limited plan that was outrageous even after a dentist visit. I've gone through a very rough year, I was in the midst of a accident a truck passed me and next thing I know is the 2 cars behind me along with truck was all a mangled mess. I looked up as I was headed for an interview. I ran immediately to the Truck as I was hoping that with the faith In the Lord he would survive, I prayed for him and prayed and pray begging God to intervene for another chance. Well my faith was tested because he didnt make it. I was suffering even though noone knew. I didnt want anyone to see me weak because I had so many people his own family who knew nothing reaching out asking me questions because they werent given any answers. In June I was struck by a vehicle with full force which slammed my head against the seat and wheel. Well my head was stinging and hurting and My fiance took me to the ER the DR lacked in his care to see what's going on and just said it was a concussion. I've been referred to the cleveland clinic recently because Noone in Knox County is taking the time to care or follow up on even my results of the tests. I've been extremely weak I've had this tooth that has been making me miserable. I have been so sick and so weak I havent been able to do anything and literally have been so sick and weak to do anything but with the pain of tooth I held off because of no insurance trying tp do what I could to save the tooth. I searched and high and Low all over Ohio, I even was searching on the Border of Kentucky and PA and no help at all. I called 2-1-1, local churches, I've asked a couple dentists if they would set a payment plan. They all wanted between 500 and 800 down Even OSU dental clinic wouldnt allow me to set up a Payment plan. Finally I gave up. I would pop ibuprofen like candy because it was unbearable. I couldnt eat much some days at all. Alot of times I spent more time asleep because I was fine usually after Ibuprofen kicked in. My then the last month or so there would be times is was throbbing and I was in so much pain that I didnt know what to do or where to turn. Honestly I have extreme anxiety anytime I have to goto the dentist because I cant seem to find a good Dr who knows what there doing or they correct spot to numb. Anyways so I've been bouncing from dentists because I havent found one who is truly caring and has there heart in it for there customers. One night I was on my phone and I couldnt take it and so I was just looking for emergency dental care and I was just going to hopefully just find a dentist that would pull it and just be done because I know root canals are pricey and not only are they expensive they take alot of time to do. And I get very nervous because the last place who did my root canal it took her 3 hours and it was a nitemare for me and I felt every bit of the pain. So while calling around I saw that THE DENTAL CLINIC didnt have the little red closed sign on google. I called and was able to talk with Dr. Bradley Gilmer and told him the situation of the tooth, He gave me an option since I am currently on disability and my dental kicks in on June. HE ABSOLUTELY got me in immediately. He knocked the underlying major reason for the pain and then when the insurance kicks in we will proceed with the ongoing dental work for the root canal. His staff is friendly and nice and they were all very caring and I felt a sense at that office that there really are people who care for others and care about there health. Everyday is a struggle and an ongoing battle but I'm clinging on to the hoping I have in Christ. Somedays theres just special people that remind you that they care. But it's sad that when you search high and low and noone will help. I've honestly fought such a hard battle and I've come to the conclusion. Anyone can have whatever they want of mine, some days I'm exhausted because the debt is piling in medical Bill's and even though I'm on disability it's still very stressful because Most often you cant get the care you need unless you have state health care cards. I'm so tired. I get weak and I am not well. The thing I can honestly say is Dr. Gilmer and his entire team are very few and far between. I pray for the fruits of His practice be richly blessed by God. I pray that God will flood his love and blessings to all that walk into his practice and know they will be treated with compassion and caring people. The Dental Center- Simply The Best

Zero stars. The Dental Center canceled my appointment without any explanation. I just received a…read moretext saying it had been canceled. When I called to find out why, I was told I was supposed to call and confirm the appointment myself. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional to cancel a scheduled appointment after I already blocked off my calendar and used PTO from work. A courtesy reminder is one thing, but canceling without even speaking to the patient is unacceptable.

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a dentist. I…read morehave never experienced this type of low-class treatment before. From the very beginning, everything was unprofessional and disorganized. I arrived early for my appointment and still waited an entire hour in the lobby. I had already told them ahead of time that I had a referral from another dentist and that tooth #3 needed a root canal. When I finally got called back, I waited another 20 minutes. Then the dentist came in and told me they were going to do a couple fillings and a tooth extraction. That confused me because I specifically called and confirmed that I was coming in for a root canal. Then suddenly, they tell me they don't have time to do the root canal that day. Mind you, I had already been sitting there for over an hour and a half. I was in EXCRUCIATING pain my jaw was locking, I could barely swallow, and I was genuinely concerned about my health. Despite that, I agreed to move forward with the extraction and fillings just to get some relief. They numbed my mouth and were about to begin when I realized no one had gone over the cost with me. I had to stop them myself and ask. The assistant then said, "Oh you're right, we forgot," and brought me a breakdown showing I owed $500 out of pocket and that my insurance covered $0. I knew that wasn't right because I had already checked my insurance beforehand. Sure enough, they "forgot" to add my insurance and had to redo it. At that point, I lost trust and decided to only do the extraction. Here's what really shocked me: my mouth was already NUMB, and they told me to go up front to pay before they continued. I asked them, "Is it normal practice to numb a patient and then send them up front to pay?" I was honestly disgusted by how that was handled. A few days later, I was still in extreme pain after the extraction. I had a root canal scheduled for Wednesday, but by Saturday I knew I couldn't wait. I called and begged them to get me in sooner or do anything to help. They told me no because of some "policy" where insurance has to be verified weekly, and the manager who does that only comes in on Wednesdays. I called my insurance company, and they told me Comfort Dental should be able to give me a referral to an endodontist. When I called back to request a referral, they told me they don't give referrals because they do root canals there, but I insisted that they give me a referral because I couldn't wait and then the lady says well I can get a referral if I come in for another appointment which made zero sense because the dentist had literally just seen me and confirmed I needed a root canal. The information I was getting was inconsistent and honestly felt uneducated. So I drove up there in person, in pain, just to try to get help. When I got there, they told me I had to pay $30 out of pocket just to go to the back and speak to the dentist for a referral because they "couldn't verify my insurance." At that point, I was furious. I was standing there thinking, are you serious right now? Thankfully, a dental assistant came out and helped me and gave me a referral but that should NOT have been that difficult. The front desk staff were extremely unempathetic and made no effort to help resolve my situation. One of them honestly seemed like they were not fully present, and I felt completely dismissed and unsupported the entire time. If you need serious dental work, DO NOT come here. This was the most disorganized, unprofessional, and frustrating experience I've ever had in a healthcare setting. I don't know about other Comfort Dental locations, but this specific one was absolutely terrible.

Dental pain is sickening. I'm pretty sure it's the worst there is. There's no escaping it either:…read morerelentless. When it comes to relieving it, you will not receive better care from another endodontic group. I've had 4 root canals in the last four years, three from Dr. Menke and one from Dr. Arens at the Dublin and Westerville offices, and each time, I have left feeling truly cared for. Professionalism and expertise is top tier. Dr. Menke has done the last three root canals for me and makes it a point to check on his patients the next day personally to see how things are. When was the last time a medical professional did that in our world? Best guy ever! The first root canal I had was an emergency two days before Xmas in '22 during a blizzard. A two-hour drive turned into three, and my whole head throbbed with pain. Walking out into a field and lying down was definitely on the table. If you know, you know. Dr. Arens took one look at me and in one minute, the pain was gone. The endodontist in Chillicothe I had gone to first actually had numbed my mouth, then looked down and said, "No. I'm not doing it. Your mouth is too small. Just have it pulled." Yep. Zero stars. Do not recommend. Dr. Arens saved my tooth. Despite my frequent brushing and flossing, old fillings have broken or fallen out, requiring more dental work as I've gotten older. Despite the 2-hr drive, Central Ohio Endodonics will always be my first choice for future work. The office staff is also kind and professional - very empathetic - and thoughtful, extending the exemplary dental care to the finish line. I appreciate everyone there. Do yourself a favor and just go there.

They were professional and clearly communicated with me each step of the way. I felt very well taken care of today. One way this experience could have been improved would be to provide a cushion behind your neck during the procedure. I felt it would have been much easier to relax if my neck could have rested against something since it is a long procedure. This would have really changed my overall experience. Besides this, I felt the experience was positive. They got me in quickly and the doctor was professional and efficient.
