A North Point guy knocks on the door one day, says they're replacing a hail-damaged roof in the neighborhood and asks if I want an evaluation of my roof. I've got nothing to lose so I agree. They bring a drone out that photographs the roof and maps hail damage. The photos clearly show hail damage so I submit a claim to Farmer's. Their adjustor comes out, takes a look and denies the claim. What now? I got no response for my question from the North Point salesman so I blistered them with a bad Yelp review (subsequently taken down due to the positive response from North Point shortly afterward). One of the owners of the company, Keith, asked if we could talk, so I sent him my phone number. He called and explained the entire process. He suggested that I ask Farmer's for a second opinion. This time, Farmer's says, yeah, hail damage, new roof. Great guidance from Keith. From there things went very smoothly. Once we'd settled on the terms of the contract, they went to work within a few days. They completed the tear-off and new roof installation in one day! They also upgraded my roofing tiles at no cost. They did a nice, professional job. The roof looks great now! This was a very pleasant experience after the initial hiccup. I definitely recommend North Point Roofing! read more

This company destroyed my leaf protection system; they ignored all my emails and phone calls. I had to take them to court, and on the day of the hearing, they didn't even show up because they knew they were completely in the wrong. Yet, despite everything--and after more than nine months--I still haven't managed to get my money back. If you want a shoddy job that will end up costing you both time and money, go ahead and hire this company; otherwise, look elsewhere for someone who will undoubtedly do a better job. read more

We are paid clients of this company who had a roof replacement within that past few year, still under warranty. Shortly after our replacement, we had roof leaks around our chimney. They sent out a repair person to remedy the issue and additionally conned us by convincing us to pay "extra" to repair additional trim boards on the chimney. However, a year later we still have leaks as the repairs and "upgrade" failed. They sent out another repair tech and he showed us pictures where the previous tech did not caulk all the boards and said that they would come back and repair. Unfortunately, after speaking with Nicole and Tonya at the corporate office and even calling the president Keith on his personal phone line, none of them have returned our calls. read more

Our neighborhood has a strict no soliciting policy. When we came home from running errands today, this salesperson from Northpoint was standing next to our driveway waiting for us to exit our vehicle. We stayed inside the car for minutes because we didn't want to talk to any solicitors, as is the neighborhood policy. We went into our home after he left. Once we got inside our home he returned and came to the door to solicit. We informed him that there was a strict no soliciting policy and that nobody in our neighborhood wants solicitors. He insisted three times that he had a permit to solicit. We informed him that our neighbors and HOA do not want it. He kept insisting that he was permitted and that is odd, because anyone who has a license to solicit door to door in our county would also know that the rule is that you must wear a visible badge indicating your status as a licensed door to door salesperson. The picture shows this was not the case. This matter aside, it is important to note that just because you have the *legal* right to do something, courtesy, respect, and professionalism are important too. When someone avoids you and when someone says repeatedly that soliciting is unwelcome and that you are unwelcome, that should be it. End of story. But I am writing this review here to let people know that Northpoint was disrespectful to my household and neighbors and that we won't do business with this company and we want everyone to avoid companies like Northpoint that disrespect neighbors in this way. I would add, finally, that we don't want Northpoint to continue this improper and discourteous door-to-door selling. If the neighborhood says no soliciting, that should be enough. If the customer who answers the door says no soliciting, that should be your signal to say goodbye and be respectful. And if you hold an official license to solicit, and you don't care about people's preferences, at the very least abide by the regulations and wear the door to door sales badge that is required. read more

Wish we could turn back time. We did check better business bureau. Should've checked yelp. These people are crooks. We sustained significant damage from Helene. This company was recommended to us by a neighbor who actually chose to work with someone else after we already signed on. We pay our deposit. When the work was completed, they left without collecting a check. I reached out multiple times about settling our balance. When they finally got back to me five months later, our bill had increased by $10,000- that's right TEN. THOUSAND. DOLLARS. Total went from $26k to THIRTY SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS). Really interesting that my neighbor who was home was able to catch them before they left and pay in full and somehow their total bill matched their quote. These people are crooks. While the work appears to be done sufficiently (after they needed to come out more than once to correct issues), I take umbrage with this obvious and deliberate bait-and-switch dishonesty. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB. Even $2k more would've been offensive, but potentially understandable (maayyyybe). But their claim this is due to whomever they contracted for gutters- ridiculous. There is no way our gutters cost that much. Liars and thieves. Unless you have $10,000 extra to burn, hire someone else. (Gave 2 stars since they did install the roof). read more

Northpoint Roofing is one of those companies that goes around door-to-door soliciting. I had a salesman, Chance Conley, who inspected my roof and said there was hail damage. With my permission, he submitted a claim to my insurance company. When the insurance company came to inspect the roof, Chance made sure to be there as well. Suddenly, he completely changed his tune and said it didn't look good as far as getting approved by the insurance company. The insurance company denied the claim, and Chance never reached out to me again. I kept reaching out to him and he said he would work on the claim, but then never did anything and ghosted me. But it gets worse. I had somebody else inspect the roof and they found where someone had put thumb indentations on a part of the roof to make it look like hail damage. I highly suspect this was Chance. Very unethical. Definitely do not use Northpoint roofing. read more

Be aware that the drone roof damage detection bit is likely just marketing BS. And your home owners insurance may include a "no claim" discount which you may lose if you file a claim...even if it's denied. A Northpoint rep came to us explaining they had replaced many roofs in our neighborhood due to hail damage from recent storms. They offered to fly a drone over our house to take pictures and use their software to identify potential hail damage. The rep said this is the same technology the insurance company or inspector would use. The roof needs at least so many instances of damage within a 10x10 sq ft area. The report the rep provided indicated we had 3x more than the needed amount. We filed the claim. The inspector came a couple weeks later, and the rep joined for the inspection. I never saw anyone after they finished the inspection. The claims adjuster called a few hours later saying the inspector didn't find enough damage to warrant a replacement. I texted the rep asking why their system indicated significantly more damage, but never heard back. I got a call from Northpoint's office a few days later asking for a status on the claim. I explained what happened and that I never heard back from the rep. She said she would get in contact with the rep to determine if they should follow up with the insurance company to fight for our claim. Never heard back. That was a couple weeks ago. After a suggestion from a friend, I checked our insurance info and noticed we have a discount on our home insurance policy for no claims. Won't know for a few months if that discount is removed or if the rate will be affected, but I definitely feel that the pitch by Northpoint was BS, a waste of my time, and will potentially cost me money. I've had other friends use Northpoint, and they've indicated the quality of the work was good and the process was fine. But in their case, they had obvious internal damage due to roof issues. read more

They offered a "free roof" but completed lied about it. After they were done a guy wanted payment and said that the insurance company would pay out for the rest. They didn't. This has cost me at least 6k so far. The roofers knocked in a gable vent and also removed a vent on top of the roof. They have left exposed wires and now I need an electrician to come out to fix it as well as find someone to replace the gable vent. The gutter people put down spouts too high up around the house and started causing holes where the water hit the ground. They also never cleaned up and I had to pick up all the gutter parts and nails around the house. These guys are a scam and do bad work. Stay away from them. read more

BEWARE!!! I learned the hard way. This was a miserable experience. They have had to come out several times and left their own tools in my yard. Nails everywhere. The installers tore my canopy which they moved without permission and never bolted it back. Broke my grill and left it leaning against my house and didn't say anything. The vent on the water heater was left unattached. I noticed this about 3 weeks after installation. Gutters and yard were FULL of nails and debris. They left a hump in my roof they later had to come out and repair. They did replace my grill but I am still waiting for reimbursement on my canopy. (6 months later) The supervisor does not stay throughout the install. They leave and there is no one there that speaks english. They try to upcharge your insurance company for coming out and taking off "do it yourself" gutter guards. It takes 15 minutes to take off and put on these guards, but yet they charge $700 for this "service" I should have went with the insurance companies suggestion and used EAGLE ROOFING. NORTHPOINT ROOFING SYSTEMS is not worth the trouble. If you want to clean up after your roofing job yourself and if you want your property moved and broken and want a lot of headaches MONTHS AFTER THE INSTALL then NORTHPOINT ROOFING SYSTEMS is the one for you!!! read more

The actual repair process took place in a single 12 hour day! Communication prior to the work day was timely and clear. I used them based on a referral from a nieghbor that also had a great experience, and after doing my own research, I called Northpoint for an estimate. Lauren Harris reached out the next day and was AWESOME as our sales rep. She was always available to help, had great input and helped the insurance process go right on through. The day of the install, our Project Manager Matthew Managan was equally as great. He reached out the day before and he and the crew were on time. Install was fast and professional and the clean-up was spotless. For such a big job, this was as easy as it could be... Northpoint is the way to go, ask for Lauren and Matthew for sure! read more

UPDATE: I am impressed with how quickly this company reached out to me to resolve the situation. The issues I had were in large part to an employee moving and no longer being with the company. They are more than willing to move forward with the process and really demonstrated a high customer service focus to me this morning. I had high hopes for this company as they seemed like nice enough people. Unfortunately I'm not sure their business practices are on the up and up. I've come to learn it's all about the sale and they get you looped into the process even if your roof doesn't need much (they tell you it does), then if your insurance doesn't cover a full roof replacement, they drop you, stop returning your messages and you are left with a ding on your home insurance record because they convinced you to file a claim under the premise your roof was severely damaged. One of the most professional companies that I have ever dealt with. After surveying my roof, by drone, Jameson contacted me to explain their findings. I needed a roof replacement due to hail. From start to finish, Jameson went up and beyond. He was quick to reply to any of my questions or concerns, even after the job was complete and others, also very professional, took over. The new roof was replaced in a day, and the cleanup left my yard looking as before the job began. Shady outfit...like other reviews our neighborhood has a no solicitation policy, doesn't stop this company. I had this company as well as several other come out in Sept 2021 to quote a roof repair. They suggested the drone flyover which I agreed to and then reported that we had hail damage. No other company indicated that I had hail damage. Northpoint had no interest in making a repair and quoted me 3X what it should cost for a roof replacement. Needless to say I had another company make the repair and have had no problems since 2021. Fast forward to 2023, another Northpoint solicitor knocking on doors in a our neighborhood and has the nerve to tell multiple neighbors that they are doing work on our house - specially used our name! I have not talked to this company since 2021. If they will lie about things like that before they sell the job, what else will they lie about?! read more

He helped us get our insurance involved, kept us updated throughout the entire process, and followed through on every single thing he said he would do for us. I can honestly say the he went above and beyond for us.
