Quickly, they did a great job!! Now the longer story. I hired Russ, the owner, over a year ago to repair my chimney. He was reasonable priced, after comparing other companies. The amazing thing is how compassiate he is the work. During the initial visit, he took me for a ride, literally, to other sites he finished. All looked fantastic. I hired the company and he finished the chimney in one day, replacing the underside, which did not exist. They perfectly color matched the house and did a wonderful job cleaning up. He followed up later with a phone call, asking how please I was with the work. I told him that he could bring anybody by to look at the work and compared the house to the chimney. One year and a half later, I called him again for roofing and siding, the whole house. He again whisked me away, to the exact same places. So you know there is no BS in where he worked. I hired him for both again, comparing him with other companies. The rook was finished in one day, cleaned up and all. The siding took nearly two weeks. Siding work is messy, so expect that. I did not. In any case, they worked with me in my daily inspections of the work. If saw something, they corrected it. I had some screens riped. They replaced. I asked to replace the house siding inside my porch. They replaced. NO extra charge. Lastly, he is reasonably priced. I checked. He, again, followed up after the job. He also gave a very long guarantee, in writing. Hire them!!! read more

I talked to several companies about this job (initially, we weren't sure if we were going to go back with real cedar that was originally on our house or the Nichiha cedar shake) that Russ recommended. My wife and I were initially nervous about how the shake siding would look compared to the real cedar we had before. We purchased an older home about a year ago, the house had original siding (LP) and many of the areas were rotting. We decided to replace all the siding on the home. This was a very big and expensive project, so we got about 5-7 estimates from siding companies all around metro Atlanta. We came across Perfection Roofing and Siding on google and they had excellent reviews. Russ (the owner) took us to the previous homes he worked on to see the type of work he and his crew do firsthand. Ultimately, we decided to go with Russ and his company because they had outstanding reviews, their work looked great, and they were competitively priced. Just as a note, Russ prefers to handle everything over the phone, we didn't email or hardly text, and the estimate is handwritten on a piece of paper. The entire job took about four days to complete which included the removal of old siding, wrapping the house, installing new Hardie plank, pressure washing the house, replacing the rotten wood, and painting the house. They did a great job cleaning up the area and used magnets to pick up any loose screws around the area, which we really appreciate due to us having young kids playing in the yard. Fabio and his crew did an amazing job. Throughout this process, we spoke with Russ, Fabio and Cortez for insight and progress updates during the project. They provided in-depth explanations and reasonings as to why their method worked and they took our concerns into consideration. As first-time homeowners, we were nervous and had many questions and Fabio took his time and answered all of them for us. I cannot say enough good things about the high quality of their work. We also had a new construction window which Fabio cut, framed, and installed. He did a great job. We had an issue with the window being defective (which we personally ordered from Home depot) but Russ and his crew ordered a better one for us and will re-install it (currently waiting on the new window and will update the review after installation). They were extremely accommodating with everything, and we very much appreciate that. We are extremely happy with the result. The house looks great! Russ and his crew did a wonderful job, they are professional, and their quality of work is unmatched. They will make sure the job is done right. Russ and crew did an amazing job at our house. They replaced all the siding, window trim, door trim, some of the soffits, and fixed a few bad spots on our roof. It's one thing to tell a prospective client how good your work is. It's another to show them. Robbie Morton, the proprietor's son, took us to three homes. There was a marked difference between Perfection's work and other random homes in each of the neighborhoods. Our project is newly completed, and we're pleased with the outcome. If you need to replace your siding, you might consider the following: *** Perfection's rates are competitive, coming in lower than other companies. *** We were given a choice of two fiber cement siding products: Hardiplank and Nichia. We went with Nichia, based on Morton's recommendation and online reviews. (It appears more durable.) *** The workmen were talented and industrious. (If you hire Perfection, ask for John and his team to paint. Besides excellent prep work, John doesn't cut corners and has a good eye for color.) A somewhat minor point, but worth noting: rather than the usual old dumpsters one sees everywhere, Robbie went out of his way to order a "driveway friendly" dumpster on wheels, that left no mark. (The company is Axe's, and the owner is an accommodating fellow who retrieved the filled dumpster, as I asked, before Hurricane Irma blew through.) read more

Perfection replaced our siding, a lot of rotten trim, and gutters. We had that wonderful Louisiana Pacific siding that had issues and finally replaced it with Nichiha siding. While it wasn't cheap, the price was fair and very competitive. Russell and his crews were excellent in terms of communication, follow up, and the actual results. Russell's sales pitch is definitely different in that he shows you actual finished projects and lets the quality of work speak for itself. It is somewhat refreshing and he didn't apply any pressure or special deals to get a same day decision. Russell even followed up when he had to out of town. Overall, we are really happy with the results. Aside from the siding and trim, the gutters turned out great. Very happy with them as well. The old one was only 12 years old but after years of trouble and leaks - no drip edge, incorrectly installed ridge vent and terrible flashing- we no longer wanted to deal with the company that installed it. NEVER HAVE I EVER! Never have I ever felt as if I have "missed out" when things go south prior to services being contracted. This is why you need to interview, vet and take careful note of how business is being handled during that preliminary phase. My purpose for posting this cautionary review is to inform others of what they may encounter or should at least be aware of before to hiring this company. In an ideal world, the business owner would recognize the problem and take corrective action to do better. This business has great reviews and has been on my list for a while. Although I am not interested in completing this project in the immediate future due to other interim projects, I was still ready to get an estimate. I am making some changes to a window and exterior door in a few weeks and wanted to get some information now to make sure that there is cohesion between the two projects. Also, I like to start my research very early so that I have plenty of time to make an informed decision and get more familiar with the business. So, I contacted the owner and he came out to give me an estimate for siding and windows. His company does not actually install windows, but has a sub-contractor available. Personally I prefer one company that does it all or a totally separate company to simplify matters. After a cursory glance at the front of the house, I was provided a written estimate on the back of a business card. I like having estimates written on company letterhead and accompanied by all pertinent information including policies and procedures for a complete package. My primary problem with this business is a lack of communication. I left a detailed message on March 30th, (requiring a response) and followed up with a phone message two days later with pertinent questions and never received a response. While I understand that his lack of follow-up may be due to the fact that I specified that the work would be done later rather than sooner, there would still be no reason to not extend the professional courtesy of a phone call. No worries! I immediately move on and find a highly rated company that offers what Perfection does not: A fully evolved communication system where calls and messages are answered and returned promptly. A thorough walk around my home to see that I don't have standard windows and will require more than a "cookie cutter" estimate. I A written detailed estimate with photos, measurements and notes included. A knowledgeable window rep who could answer all relevant questions regarding the new window and doors. This allowed me to understand the full scope of all work to be completed and helped to expose additional considerations. No hard selling tactics just great education about the work to be done, specific process and materials required. ***When it comes to finding the perfect company, remember to do a test run PRIOR TO signing any contract. Make calls and ask questions so that you will have an idea of how the company handles customer service and communication. You can then make an informed decision before moving forward. ***Contractors, regardless of whether a customer is ready to commit now or later, you never want to lose a potential customer, (and additional clients generated through "word of mouth"), for something as simple as poor communication. It's just not worth it. read more

Before choosing contractors, I did my homework and read through recommendations. Finally I chose 3 vendors. Essex Roofing and restorations - Sales manager was nice but price increased on 70% just in 3 weeks, which I found suspicious. Revamp was a kind of nightmare experience on a sales stage. I chose Perfection roofing and siding. I liked the communication when all my questions and concerns were politely negotiated and addressed by Russ and his crews. Russ(sales manager and owner) is a very positive guy, cracking jokes all the time but he shown serious atitude to the quality level of the job to be done. His crews are also genuinely dedicated to satisfy the client. They were polite and attentive to my asks and questions and did exactly what I asked them to do. They use good quality materials and even replaced some rotten pieces where it was needed. Initially agreed terms and conditions were followed. Russ and his crew did a great job replacing the old pressed board siding on my house with Nichiha cement fiber board. Russ took me to a few houses his crew had worked on and showed me thier work, which looked good. He really bragged on his guys, and rightfully so They came over, replaced the siding and painted the new siding. His crew leader was helpful and explained what they were doing. It took about 4, maybe 5 days, from start to finish, and it looks great. The boards area is staggered. The caulk, the paint, and the paint job look great. If I pressure wash every year, I won't need to paint it for 8 to 10 years. That will save me from painting so often, which is an expense and a pain. read more

Skeptical guy won over by the Perfection and professionalism of Perfection Roofing & Siding!   My wife and I were looking to have the siding replaced because it was old Georgia-Pacific fiberboard siding that was falling apart. I was interested in fiber cement siding and decided to replace the siding with Nichiha verses Hardie board due to the value of the raw materials received relative to the price of Hardie board in addition to liking the more pronounced wood grain revealed in the final product after painting of the Nichiha material.   Now I am not normally a guy who put too much credence into online posted reviews so I can tell you the fact that I'm writing this says a lot about Russ and his team. I was skeptical at first about Perfection's plethora of stellar online reviews so I decided to contact the Nichiha company directly. I had gotten in touch with the company's southern regional manager in charge of installing the entire South Region, I had asked him who he recommended for an installer that was local to my area. He gave me a list of a few names - and guess who was on top of the list - Russ from Perfection Roofing and Siding. I had even asked the manager directly at Nichiha why Russ was at the top of the list and he told me that Russ was a superb installer who is highly rated and is one of the top producers and installers for the south region. This information was enough for me to contact Russ to provide a quote for the job.   When Russ came to provide the quote, I had expected to receive a boring binder filled with pictures about siding and all kinds of irrelevant information. But no - just like other reviewers have said, Russ asked me to come with him in his truck so he can show me other jobs in the area that he had performed complete siding replacement jobs on. Each house that he had worked on looked better than the next, the paint the seams on the siding all were Perfection but I still needed to be convinced even more. Russ told me no problem I can continue to do research if I had liked. in fact, we joked with each other and he told me to continue my research, go on my odyssey and that I would find out that he was the best in terms of value, quality, and most of all Perfection to details - He was right. In addition, I had ended up speaking to a number of prior customers and asking them in detail about the jobs that Russ had performed for them. As I continued to do my research, I could not find any anything to dissuade me from selecting Russ and his team to do the work on my house.   I had written down different questions to ask Russ and whenever I called him, he always answered his phone and spent time with me to answer all of my questions. This alone I found amazing because many contractors are difficult to connect with on the phone and even more distant and hard to reach once the job is underway. When I was 100% certain that Russ and his team were the ones for me, I called him to let him know I was ready to move forward to which he laughed and said that he knew that all the time but he needed to know that I was comfortable before we both could move forward.   As predicted by Russ, the job was impeccable from the start and the quality was superb. Fabio and his team were siding geniuses and their carpentry skills were off the chart- simply incredible work all around. The painters were amazing as well. It was truly a transformational experience to have my house look so great after it was completed. Neighbors were as asking us if we were moving because the house looked so great. I replied 'No, I think I'll enjoy it for a while!' So, at the end of the day you may not be the perfectionist that I am, but you will definitely find perfection by working with Russ at Perfection Roofing & Siding. read more

In Summer of 2018, when everyone else wanted to sell me a complete residing job, Russ & Co. at Perfection were able to replace the chimney siding (which was needed), replace one board on the front of the house that had been chewed by squirrels, and replace a rotted-out window sill. Beware of this company! I have been scammed by this company and the owner is a very loud bully who has tried to intimidate me when I have confronted him regarding his demonstrably incompetent work. In 2009 I contracted Perfection Roofing and Siding to replace the torch on roof on my house. My roof is a low slope roof. At the time the company was doing business in Victoria B.C Canada. About 2 years later I began to observe water dripping down behind the facia board all around my house. When I went up on the roof to inspect, what I found shocked me! I immediately saw where they had tried to drill out the torch on membrane over the existing downspout outlets. They had missed either completely or partially in all the downspout locations. This resulted in very restricted water drainage and water ingress around the cut out area which had been left as it was, a mess. I drilled out the torch on material properly so the water could flow off the roof properly, and patched the ripped/untreated edges around the mostly ripped up holes Perfection Roofing made in my roof. If I can, I will attach pictures to this review clearly showing what I found when I went up on my roof. Late in the project back in 2009, Perfection Roofing and Siding's owner advised me his metal brake was unserviceable and would be unable to install new metal drip flashings around the perimeter of my roof. Because the new flashing was included in the contract the contractor knocked 300 bucks off the agreed price and he tacked the old metal drip flashing in place, scratches and dents and all. We both understood I would replace the old with new flashing at a later date. After finding the downspout holes partially ripped out in all the wrong places, we lifted off the old roof edge metal flashing and discovered that the felting had been cut short of covering the rail board. This explained the dripping water I had observed behind my facia boards and through my soffits post Perfection Roofing's abortion of a roofing job. The installation is so bad that after 9 years the entire roof requires replacement. I possess a 20 year warranty written and signed in the business owners own hand. The warranty covers materials and labor. To date, February 18 2019, he has only responded to my issue with misleading statements and bullying. Beware of this company! I will provide pictures.
