Worst sevice and horrible job. Dont come here for any of your AUDIO NEEDS.. they only had to cut the box a bit more and install threaded insert they cut the hole too big. inserts just fell out. There solution was to put in regular wood screws. Now my new box has holes everywhere leaks air and this is a sealed box. There is threaded insert inside and lots of dust didn't even clean the wood dust. That will ruin your speakers.They are no better than getting someone on the street to do it for $20 dollars. Pls stay away from this shop. Unless you like beginners jobs. read more

Over the weekend, I visited a business called Northside Sounds to have a remote starter installed in my car. I was thoroughly impressed by their hospitality and professionalism. When I arrived, I was greeted by Christian, who was very polite and patient. He took the time to explain in great detail all the options available for the remote starters. After leaving my car there for the installation, I had complete confidence in the option I had chosen and the service being provided. About three hours later, I received a call notifying me that my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived to pick up my car, Christian walked me through the new remote's functions. He even went the extra mile by having me try the remote starter myself and gave me directions on how to insert my car key properly when the remote starter was on to prevent future car complications. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants to install a remote starter in their car. read more

Since this dude touched my truck just to install a radio, I've been having nothing but problems. I've been here 3x for them to correct and fix my navigation system. He's bragging about having over 20 years experience but he seems new to me. Then he gets smart with me because I'm a female and was by myself. OH MY GOODNESS.. as you see the other horrible comment please save yourself from going here. I went here for them to install a remote start and after they gave it back the next day my car did not turn after getting out of work. My car had nothing but problems after i took it here, kept me without a car for 7 days as they did for make it a priority to fix something they messed up. They charge you for things they messed up as they blew my ignition switch and charged me $100 to replace it when they're the ones who blew it while putting the remote starter in. Not just that but also told me I would have to get a whole new remote starter system for the problem to go away. That was another $375, they steal peoples money and mess up your car the first time you take it so you would have to keep taking it and paying more money. HORRIBLE PLACE DO NOT GO AND SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR CAR FROM ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS!!! read more

Recently got some work done here, and I couldn't recommend them enough. I was simply looking to be able to play the music on my phone through my car but a simple cigarette lighter/plug and play device wouldn't do. I wanted the works. After doing some market research, I purchased everything I wanted and needed to get a full on android auto compatible touchscreen stereo/back up camera installed in '06 BMW X3. After shopping around, I decided on Northside Sounds and I couldn't be happier. Christian was super helpful in explaining what exactly he needed to do and he did a super clean install so that there wasnt any clutter on my dash. Avoid this rush shop! They up sold me parts that they didnt install, took over 12 hours to install, and it still sounded terrible. They even scratched my tint they installed and my brand new pair of ear buds in the package disappeared the day of the install. Shady. read more

My OEM antenna in my car broke, so i figured i would get an aftermarket one installed. And since I was doing that, i might as well upgrade the stereo too. I Had a 6.2 inch DVD stereo installed in my 2006 Toyota Carolla, with an aftermarket antenna installed that I purchased from Northside.. From the time I left the place after the install, the stereo sounded awful! Nothing but Fuzz. I called Northside the next day who told me to bring the car back, When I did, the only answer I was given was that the stereo was cheap and that I would need to repair my OEM antenna for it to work properly. Now keep in mind that I purchased my stereo on Amazon, but when I arrived to have it installed at Northside, I noticed that they sell the same stereo inhouse. I refuse to believe that after reading all the positive reviews of this stereo, that is would sound like this. Finally I got fed up and called again 2 days later to find some other resolution because the poor quality sound was unbearable. I was greeted with rudeness by Jesus the owner, who told me that there is nothing he can do and that he will uninstall everything for me. That was his resolution? I will not take my vehicles there anymore. He is rude and does not offer quality service. I liked the place and his son was incredibly nice, but I thought I was gonna leave there with a great sounding stereo, instead, it was worse than when I arrived.
