    Worst banking experiences have occurred with PNC. I recently closed all of my accounts with PNC…read moredue to incompetence and dishonesty. Im still unable to access some of my funds and cannot obtain resolution. I was warned by my financial advisor from another brokerage firm that I would have trouble dealing with PNC for a fund transfer and he underestimated the pain that I would experience. With that said, the bank representative (Dee) that helped me close my accounts was rather nice.

I stood in line for 20 minutes waiting to cash a check. And the moment the see that you're getting impatient, they move slower. Also, I feel that as an African American, they choose to take their time to assist me. I'm never coming back ti this branch again. I'll take my chances at another branch. And I highly recommend that no one used this branch. They clearly do discriminate. Chelsea, the Branch Manager is racist and rude. They refused to cash a check that I've been cashing at this branch for almost 2 years. And Chelsea was very rude about it. I'm never coming to this branch again. And I highly recommend that nobody else does because they're clearly a racist branch. I've been treated better at other branches than I have at this branch. PNC Bank on Freeport Road is racist! They treat my kind like crap!

    When a family member was passing from CANCER! This bank assigned a family member to the power of…read moreattorney that was not requested to be on.. When sought to correct, this bank escalated things to the police in order to prevent correction. This attempt failed from the bank with the police because they had no right to assign anyone to a power of attorney that was not requested to be included on a power of attorney. The result was the son getting barred from the bank for life because he asked why the bank did that. The bank had no sympathy for the family member and only took actions in their own interests. Such as banning the individual for life from the bank when the person asked why they did something that they are not allowed to do (unless banks can assign anyone to anything they like First Commonwealth Bank did..), This bank is getting away with whatever they want too. The assistant manager's name was Angie out of the Delmont branch and manager's name was Wendy. Also, general manager made a further decision to close all accounts including son's business account who banked with establishment without any issue for 11 years. My name is Michael Kokolis and this is all true. This bank and all of its corporate managers where aware of the events. This bank simply protected the bank by banning the son and took actions to the local police, Delmont Pennsylvania Police Station, when the son was just trying to simply find out why, how, and what gave them the right to act in the manner that they did. And after all the bank will not stop emailing the son, for over a year, offers to do business, when the son is banned from ever doing business with them. It's really sicking. This bank has proven to the son that they can do whatever they want to him, answer no questions, and still harass him with emails inviting him to do business with the bank that has banned him form ever doing business with... Establishments who have done things like this before and gotten away with will more than likely do it again and why even put yourself at such a chance. For this just happened without any warning signs, meaning there never was an issue before, and once this happened this was how they handled it.

They definitely gave more personalized mom and pop shop vibes while sharing all of the amenities of the two larger entities I bank with. The service was fast, full of coaching and very personable. As my fiancé and I set up a savings account they seemed genuinely interested in more than our finances, but also our story and we were made to feel very comfortable. They also made no assumptions and explained everything we'd have available to us, not suggesting anything before they knew what exactly we wanted. Honestly, only ended up here because Dollar Bank was closed but that now feels very fortuitous

One of my inquires was regarding a promo that I was unsuccessful at obtaining via their website. The banker seemed to not know how to apply it but told me he would contact their support team and get back to me. During this interaction I mentioned the mailing address twice. The banker also did not provide information on when the card would arrive. Days went by and the banker still hadn't followed up. I then reached out to customer support, and it took two phones on two separate days to get an answer regarding the promo. I was told it's resolved, though they were unable to provide a confirmation number for our call. I learned the relationship banker that I interacted with is the Branch Manager. Close to two weeks later the Branch Manager still hasn't followed up and my card was addressed to the incorrect address.
