After the initial installation we kept having problems with the unit shutting itself off. Finally, they seemed to have repaired the mechanism and it worked for about a year. The fireplace stopped working over a week ago. I called Ironstone 4-times and was promised that I would receive a return call from their repair supervisor the same days that I called. The fireplace just got fixed by a competent HVAC company that specializes in gas fireplaces. I'm still waiting for a call back from Ironstone.

The response I got however was " sorry we can't pick up the phone as there is only one customer service agent working at a time and it gets very busy" apparently they get so busy that they can't even answer their phone once throughout the entire week and it takes multiple days for them to get back to you over text! Wow! After getting aggressive and fed up over text I asked if the delivery fee could be waived (100$) for deadlines not being met that were promised over and over. To my surprise the customer service actually talked to a manager who actually gave me a $200 refund *SHOCKER* (like actually) We were told that it should be about 10 more days until the couch arrives and then a few after that for it to get counted into their inventory system and delivered. Well today is February 10 and last Thursday was the 10 days and we still heard nothing so I sent a text message asking for an update yesterday night and have still heard nothing. This company sucks a$$ completely. Do NOT buy through them if you have to have an item shipped. It seems we are stuck in an endless loop of are we getting a couch? We are! Wait when? Oh never. Thanks to Wallroos my 10 month pregnant wife and I have been moved into our new apartment for coming up on three months and have been living at our dining room table and in our bedroom because the couch we were promised would be delivered on time has been delayed upon delayed with no given reasons just empty promises and even delayed responses! I have never had an issue with a couch coming apart in my life. (No kids, no animals, no problems) So while we were not thrilled about the warranty, I wasn't incredibly worried. One year into owning this couch the springs are sticking out on two of the seats and we are going to have to spend a lot of money just to make it useable. I called the store as soon as I noticed issues but was reminded that it was sold as is. A few words to the wise: Never buy a floor model couch, always get a warranty, never shop at Wallaroo furniture bc I have read some of the other reviews and I'm not the only one with problems.
