I had a patio cover installed by Northewest Exteriors, since new they have NEVER been able to find or repair the water leaks we are experiencing, part of the 15x25 cover is unusable during the lightest of rain. Two light/fans were installed in the patio cover and the water damage has now made one of the lights not work correctly. At some point I will have to remove and replace the entire patio cover, and will look for a company that stands behind their work. read more

Buyer beware - the sales people are great but the installers will make you wish you went elsewhere. I love the windows but this company has been a nightmare to get my problems resolved, it's been over a month since my windows were installed and their corporate offices are still giving me the run around. I bought the nicest windows available and paid close to $10k for them to do a shitty job. The day before my window install was scheduled, they tried to call me to cancel it. I explained I own a small business that requires me to be there M-F and I had to have people on my team work extra so I could step away on a weekday, and if they wanted to reschedule that was fine but I couldn't reschedule for another month or so due to staffing at my business. They decided to send a different crew out instead of delaying the job on their own volition. The people who did the install work were incredibly unprofessional, disrespectful and messy. One of the employees was yelling and swearing at the other employee, in front of me, while my neighbor's young children are outside playing. So embarrassing. They broke my solar pathway lights doing the install, damaged so many plants in my front and back yard some of which were not even near the windows, didn't caulk the windows all the way, left my siding hanging off of the house (I nailed it back in myself) and got my deck covered in caulking. They failed to repair obvious dry rot under the windows that I went over with both the sales person and the person who came to double check the measurements, both of whom assured me that the work crew would be sure to address anything like that. To make it worse, they failed to put this note about the dry rot on my work order, which I could see in the corporate notes regarding my complaint when they sent someone back to look at the damage. If you have dry rot you want them to deal with, get it in writing on the work order so they don't gaslight you about it when they fail to do their job. I've never witnessed such disrespect and behavior from a work crew before. The one employee who was particularly aggressive intimidated me, I didn't want him to turn on me as a small young woman home alone so I just watched in complete shock. After this experience, I emailed the salesperson who was apologetic and had the person who did the measurement check return to my house to see the work that was done. He took photos of the damage, we discussed the dry rot failure, he addressed the caulking, repaired my siding, and cleaned my deck. He reassured me corporate would do the right thing and address my damaged garden and broken solar path lights within a month. No one ever did, so I followed up with the salesperson. The COO called me once, left a voicemail and I've tried calling him back over 5 times over the course of 2 weeks. He is conveniently never available to take my call. Overall this is a complete failure to make a situation right and do right by your customers. If a customer is dissatisfied and dealing with damage that is literally costing them money out of their pocket, you should do the right thing and reimburse for the damages. I gave them a chance to make it better but their true colors are shining through. read more

There windows are quality and at a quarter of the price of Anderson Windows. It matched quotes from other local glass places but there windows were inferior to DelMar windows We opted for the DelMar window that is almost sound proof due to thicker glass used. They had a tinting package for free at the time. They have a double lifetime warranty. If one breaks or get hard to open, they will come out to fix or replace.I can open and close with one finger. The windows are double hung for easy cleaning. Great product. knowledgeable staff and great pricing. Would highly recommend this company for your window replacement, no need to call anyone else. read more

They were professional, clean, and obviously knew their job. The job turned out better than I was expecting. Northwest had the best price quote out of 3 bids. Where's the 6-star option? I cannot express how happy I am not only with the windows, but also the service and installation! After thinking I would have to pay for new windows instead of send the kids to college based off other quotes I received, Northwest comes in and offers the best possible windows at a more than reasonable price. And it was a pressure-free initial meeting...no queasy feeling, or second thoughts when he left. I legit had to ask twice if labor was included in the quote, because based on other companies, I couldn't believe it was. The windows came in exactly when quoted, and the options for installation days worked well with my very odd work schedule. I planned for two days, as quoted, for the install...but didn't need it. Rockstar installers Tim and Joseph were here right at 9am and finished installing all 16 windows on my two-story home by 5pm. This included all the trim, sills, and cleanup! They actually left the place cleaner than they found it (sorry guys!). Even my neighbors were so impressed by the product and workmanship that they were coming over asking for business cards. I wish I took "before" pictures of the horrible windows I had before for a side by side, but I'm more than happy never to seen those awful things again! We used Northwest Exteriors two years ago to replace 50 year old windows. We chose the Anlin Windows-Doors, made in Clovis, CA. When our French door began to sag and stick, we called them to inquire how to adjust the doors. They came out immediately and adjusted the doors, but also noticed paint chips due to south facing sun on the dark paint. They coordinated with Anlin, who set up an appointment within two weeks and replaced all the faded parts for free. Northwest did an AMAZING job! From quote to measurement to installation, I was pleased. There's no sales pitch or extra fluff. They gave me two quotes, the "Corolla" and the "Cadillac" and didn't push me toward the more expensive option, though we did end up picking the "Cadillac." Once install day came around (yesterday), all 7 seven windows were replaced in about 3.5 hours without any hiccups. The installers were professional and cleaned up as if they were never there. 10/10 highly recommend. I will need to replace the siding on my house soon, Northwest will be the first company I call to bid on the job. read more

Had a great experience with Northwest, from start to finish. Bought about 10k of Anlin windows to retrofit on old 1970's house with the usual lousy single-panes of old. Anlin's got consistently good reviews in my research, as opposed to Anderson and Milgard and they are much more affordable than either of those. Installers Joe and Shawn did an efficient clean job, no glitches, and the windows were caulked and sealed four different ways, I don't think a tidal wave could get through the seals on these. Not sure who reviewer Danielle C. got as installers or what the problems were for her but I had nothing but prompt communications and workmanship. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I had a nightmare of an experience with this company and what I got as a response was very unsatisfactory. I would not go with this company if I were you. Rick the GM took 3 days to get back to me and when he did he was very defensive and unprofessional and made me even more upset. The biggest damage we had was in the bathroom downstairs. A custom 3x6 mirror completely shattered causing floor, wall, cabinet and door damage. I don't know how much money exactly it is going to cost to me to fix all these problems but I will tell you the 10% off he took off my contract total will not be enough. The stress and time it took me to clean up glass and wood chips out of my lawn and phone calls and appointments I had to make with people to help me fix things. It really took a toll on me and my family. This all done while I was on vacation with my family including a baby who just started walking and I was so very afraid I may have missed some glass. All of these things considering and Rick was so rude. Rick made it sound like it was my fault because I was not home. Saying he didn't know I would be gone. I did tell him multiple times we wound be away and I have the proof in the emails. Either way shouldn't a job be done with care always? Meh!!! Maybe it's because I work in a service industry, but I focus on good communication, timeliness, being considerate, and high quality work. I was underwhelmed by all these service metrics. That said, they communicated well and were timely up until the contract was sign. After that communication feel apart and the delays pilled up. When the project finally started. I found the work-crew to be professional. I wish they would have talked with me before cutting down branches in my trees, but they did what that had to. When the job was 98% done we paid 90% of the fee. Then silence for 7 months. Eventually a different person showed up and finished the job. I though Jeff was great! Was I satisfied with the job? meh! I just got off the phone with North West Exteriors. I have been a VERY good customer to this business, We've spent in excess of $20,000 on Windows, siding and patio cover... and also replaced sliding doors. All that was great, happy with the product etc. The problem is, we have been trying to have a repair done for months--- The original request for this went in to them on July 31, 2015--- fast forward to today October 29, 2015--- I am told they are swamped with NEW business and that my repair would not be able to schedule until the middle of January or February --- when asking if I could schedule the repair today, Um no, will have to wait until mid January just to schedule it. I understand that their priority is the NEW stuff that comes in, but really --- isn't it important to take care of your recent customers--- they are the ones that give you the referrals and talk about who did the work on your house--- you would think it would be important to them to keep their customers happy. Well, I will be sure never to recommend them to anyone and will be looking elsewhere for any future work. I was told that I could go and get the stuff myself and contract someone else to do it... love that service... thanks! Not happy! read more

He was very personable and helped us greatly with our decision making. He was also extremely patient when we made a few changes. Installation went very smoothly. Can't say enough about the hard work that Jason, Colby and Jeff did. These guys worked from morning until late evening and helped us with dry rot issues as well. Their expertise made our experience very positive. Our original windows were 1946 oldies and it is wonderful to have operating windows that actually lift up and look nice. Bryce and Joe did an excellent job- they came and did first phase in January and were supposed to do 2nd phase in March, but you know that Covid thing... They did keep in touch with us and finally when things opened up they were here in May -8th. Definitely a great product, keeping the house cool now on hot days and the heat in in January. Both the installers were professional and courteous - no scratches or dings on our walls or furniture inside and they did a good job of being neat and cleaning up; and even wore the masks while in the house today when they finished up. We had new sliding glass doors and a window replaced after we bought our house. That was over 9 years ago. We had a bit of trouble with one of the larger doors locking. They came out and cheerfully resolved the issue with the interior locking mechanism the same day I called. Nice to know there are companies that stand by their product. read more

We had a great experience with Northwest Exteriors. Staff responded quickly to our inquiry and electronically provided lots of materials on our options. They helped facilitate our financing with a third-party company which made setup a breeze. It took about 8 weeks for our custom doors and windows to arrive at their shop, but they were able to get us scheduled for installation just a couple weeks after that. They arrived on time, worked until dark, uber careful around all landscaping and plants, worked with precision and excellence, were friendly, kind, knowledgeable, helpful in every way. Overall, I am happy with the experience I had with Northwest interiors. The work was completed a little over a month ago and everything still looks and works great. The two guys who came out to do the installation were friendly and professional and they worked their butts off to get everything installed and done in two days. I had a lot of windows, many of which were high off the ground on irregular hills, plus complete removal and installation of 2 slider doors. And it was 100 degrees outside. So really, the whole thing took longer than they were expecting, but they didn't leave until it was done and I didn't feel like they were sacrificing any quality rushing to finish. Everything was cleaned up and taken away when they were done. However, I can't in good conscience give this business 5 stars because they use typical door to door salesman, high pressure techniques to get you to sign a contract on the spot. I knew what was going on up front, so I think it only minimally affected my decision. The end product quality, installation, and price was as advertised, but i would have had a lot less purchase anxiety between the contract and the installation if the sales tactics had been less heavy handed. read more

Choosing a front door can be a challenge, especially since the doors are an odd size. We chose Northwest Exteriors after watching them install a neighbors front door. First a salesperson came by and wrote up an order for front doors and a large window. The next person that showed up measured everything again. When the doors were ready we were surprised seeing only one installer show up. We soon learned he could and did complete everything by 4:30 with no mess left behind. The doors and window are beautiful. What a difference in how our home looks. The Exterior doors are fiberglass insulated with solid core foam. Quiet and warmth all in one day. When the doors were installed the salesman came by to see how the job looked and we placed an order for another window and a back door. Northwest is a fine company and their installers do outstanding work. We are very happy with the quality of the windows that we recently purchased, along with the meticulous work by the installers. Our job took one day longer than the estimate, but this was due in large part to the fact that our installers had to drive from the Sacramento area to Santa Rosa for our job. The traffic on that route is terrible, as anyone who has to make that drive can attest. Northwest is selling and installing a lot of product right now; in order to get our job finished in a timely fashion it was necessary for them to "import" installers.
