Everyone in the office is very proficient in their job. They are always on time and very friendly. I always feel like I have just had a good visit with friends when my appointment is finished. I have been going to Dr. Burghart for a couple of years. He is kind, caring, patient, a great listener, and absolutely amazing with his patients! I would highly recommend him. He has worked with me extensively when I couldn't get used to my progressive lenses, and just recently, with a dry eye issue. Kind of felt like once the money was paid and glasses were ordered I was an inconvience for them Before and during exam, while choosing frames ECT.I was given excellent service. Once the money,not insurance, was paid in full I became what I felt like was a pain in the ass.lol. I actually ordered ,bought and paid for 2 sets of bifocals and 1 set of readers so it wasn't cheap by the time I was done. While choosing frames the ones I had chosen as my favorites were not available anymore so I had to rechoose a few times to get frames they actually still carried . When the first pair came in They didn't call me, after 10 days or so I called to get an update on ETA of my glasses and was told 1 pair had been there for 3 days. I went to get them and was excited to have new unscratched glasses and soon was disappointed because they were the wrong frames. Take two of glasses one...redid order ,glasses came back,again wrong frame. At that point I wanted to walk away and get my money back for all 3 because this is where I became a second class citizen and there annoyance with helping me obvi to say the least. I asked how can this happen that the first pair and only pair to arrive of the 3 was wrong twice and they called the lab and were told they don't carry the frames I wanted anymore . So I came up with idea to send the sample frames I choose to the lab so they could fit my lenses in the frames. Well that went over like a lead ballon and she was hesitant about calling the lab so I asked if I could call and talk to the lab..at that point she called and they had no problem doing what I suggested. Mean while before those 2 pair came back still no readers. I stopped by at 3 weeks time to see what the hold up was on readers. Again frames I choose were discontinued ,choose another frames. I was already there so I sat down n picked new frames. Finally my 2 bifocals came in with sample frames and I am happy at last, Until the anouyance factor really got ampted by the receptionist who wrongly thought it was the last of me so she was hasty and indifferent when giving me my glasses. I was second in line to reception desk and the man in front was being treated pleasant and respectful...Im thinking that he probably hadn't paid yet Lol..I was correct. My turn to approach the bench. I was handed a bag with mismatched cases, one that didn't close being to small for the frames and no paper work ,nothing. Out the door I went. Finally my readers arrived and they were correct frames,wrong color. At that point I didn't care,I accepted the wrong color. Again second in line to check out and person on front is getting a bag that had cleaning wipes,dry cloth and paper work all stuffed in the bag and a really nice case. I step to the counter got handed a case that was cheap n ugly ,no cleaning clothes, no paperwork and no bag this time. I asked nicely if I could be so lucky to have some of the free supplies that the other person was given for the care of their glasses. Cue dirty look...also I mention x3 on the clothes since no freebies were given for other 2 frames. She then put upgraded cute Candies hot pink leather case that was the brand of my readers btw in a bag and dropped in what I thought was cleaning supplies. No paper work, in bag when I looked was a 2 inch by 2 inch dry cloth that had advertising on it from somewhere else and nothing more. I was fine and knew I would not go there again but I needed paperwork in case I lost my glasses and needed replacements I had to have prescription, I was told just to come see them if that happens n then I could have it. Now.my prescription that cost me over 500 for all the glasses was held hostage. I went online and ordered frames because the online people will contact your eye doctor and get prescription so eventually when I got my online glasses I got paperwork then also. My advice is to pay when you get your glasses ,not before or they will have no reason to keep being nice to you. That's if you are brave enough to go there at all. read more

I just started going to Dr. Burghart at the end of last year after being with the last eye doctor for more than 20 years. I am so pleased to have found him. He is very thorough, he is kind, he takes the time to explain when you have questions, and everything that the other two reviewers said below. The office is very nice and the other workers are great. I would also like to add that I am very chemically sensitive and I have found the office free of burning candles or candle scents and no one wearing heavy perfumes...which I greatly appreciate. I have been going to Dr. Burghart since we moved here. I have diabetes and had the starting of cataracts. I wanted to put off the cataract surgery as long as possible. Dr. Burghart worked with me in keeping my vision the best possible until it was at the point that I needed the surgery.
