I just want to take a minute to tell everyone how appreciative myself and my family are for Kevin. Over the past few years, Kevin has been a HUGE help coming out to our house and replacing the cracked windshields on both of our cars, always showing up on time and completing the work quickly and professionally. Fast forward a few years, we had a loose rubber seal on our front windshield and were concerned about potential water leaks so I gave Kevin a call to see if he could take a look. He responded immediately and we set up some time for him to take a look. Turns out, there was no leak and the fix was purely cosmetic, but he still wanted to perform a full diagnostic just to make sure there wasn't any leaks somewhere else in the car. Kevin replaced my windshield last summer for my Subaru Outback XT. He installed a windshield that also had the heated wiper area. It has held up through the year and I have had no issues (no moisture or anything like that). I talked with Kevin as he removed the old windshield and seal, cleaned the new glass, and laid the urethane bead. Kevin was kind enough to explain what he was doing throughout the entire process. He told me how people do this kind of stuff wrong and it really reassured me on his personal knowledge of his work. While he was at my house he replaced my sister's Subaru Outback windshield as well. Kevin is incredibly fast, inexpensive, and timely. I would recommend his service to anyone looking for windshield work. Just be smart about the weather conditions since his work is mobile. Our Mazda CX-5 had a nasty crack in the front windshield.....nothing that could be "filled" so I turned to Yelp to get some estimates. I contacted four different companies, and got responses from 3 of them. Kevin's was the first (within like 15 minutes). He asked a few questions, then came back with a price estimate and available appointment time (the next morning!!) :-D The other two companies eventually came back with estimates, as well, but they were SIGNIFICANTLY higher and were not able to schedule us nearly as quickly as Kevin...so we chose NW Glass Guy. I couldn't be happier. My windshield cracked in last year's cold weather, and cracked again with this year's cold weather. Contacted Kevin and he responded promptly. I called my usual windshield replacement spot over off st john's for a price comparison (I've had lots of opportunity to replace windshields over the years for some reason), not only was Kevin slightly cheaper, he came to me. While replacing my windshield he found and replaced two leaks, and primed some rust spots at no additional charge. I don't particularly care for the color of the UV strip at the top of the new windshield, but thinking about getting my windows tinted to might have a strip run up there. read more

While driving home from a road trip up north, a rock impacted the edge of my windshield. Just moments after the impact the rock chip turned into a crack, slowly expanding across my windshield, and, of course, right through my drivers view of the roadway. I have never had to replace a windshield before, so this experience was new for me. I contacted Kevin, the Northwest Glass Guy, and he quickly fit me into his schedule. The scheduling process was truly painless since Kevin worked around my unusual schedule and was flexible as to when he could come out. Kevin arrived a day later and proceeded to replace my windshield. However, when he was finished with the job, he noticed a small issue with the resin protruding in a recessed part of the windshield, which was barely noticeable. Kevin immediately said that he would do it again, stating that he wanted to do it right. Kevin came back on my schedule and replaced the windshield. It looks factory new. Came out and did a fabulous job on both of our large vehicles, at our home. We have never experienced such fast and professional service, from a glass installer such as Northwest. The price was just a bit more (about $30) than if we had drive to to a different shop and waited and hour while twiddling our thumbs. So it was worth it for our family. I give this company a resounding five stars! When I initially called about a rock chip repair for a commercial vehicle the person I spoke to on the phone was nice, patient, and explained the process very clearly. The repair had to be coordinated between my insurance company, Northwest Glass Guy, and one of my employees. I was concerned that a simple rock chip repair would turn into a headache. It was just the opposite. All I had to do was give Northwest Glass Guy the telephone number of my technician and contact Progressive to let them know we wanted Northwest to do the work. The rest was handled smoothly between Northwest and my employee. What I really want to emphasize is the end result. We had two rock chips that turned out to not need to be repaired. One had been previously repaired and the other was a superficial scratch. I braced myself when Northwest called and told me this. The repairman from Northwest COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER ABOUT IT.
