update: their response is typical of people trying to skirt responsibility. I did call them. I double checked the number to make sure in my call history. Maybe instead of lying, they should either train their employees properly to not lie to customers or start keeping records. Why would I make up something like this? I have better things to do. 7:50 AM: realize drivers side car window was broken over night. Thanks fully no valuables taken, just vandalism. 7:59 AM : called these guys. They were responsive over Yelp, but I needed to be on the road by 11 AM so I called them. They said they could have someone there by 10 when I supplied them my info. Their quote seemed reasonable. 10:00 am: guy showed up with the specific drivers side window for my make and model. 10:45 am : guy said the window was fixed. Tested it worked fine. I'd cleaned up a lot of the glass before they got there, and they'd vacuumed more. I recommend getting as close to the floor as possible when checking in and around the car seats, lots of little hiding places for little pieces of breakaway glass and better to try to get that now. It was $275. I appreciated that although they use a credit card processing app that allows them to ask for a tip, they don't use that feature to request a tip at the end of it. I've had locksmiths request that and it's rude for people that are helping you on one or your worst days. So whole process completed in less than 3 hours. Would definitely recommend read more

Someone drove by and smashed out the back window of our Chevy Silverado truck. I called and was able to get scheduled for the next day - Saturday. Unfortunately, I screwed up and had given the wrong year, so when he showed up, the replacement couldn't be done. He was so kind and rescheduled for Monday right then, since the glass dealer wasn't open on the weekends. Came out early on Monday, cleaned out the broken glass from the truck, replaced the window and had mobile pay. He couldn't have made it easier. I really dislike 1-star reviews, because they just seems unreasonably low. So I hope by prefacing with that, it puts mine in perspective. I located this company via Yelp, and they have overwhelmingly positive reviews. Being this this is a car I've just repainted and am in the process of restoring, I wanted only the best glass installer to do the work. The first day he came out, the glazier showed up a bit after he said he would, like 30 minutes. This is a non-issue, but I want to be detailed. I showed him the car and the bits (front and back windshield, brand new seals and used locking trim) and left him to his work. I've never had a glass install take longer than an hour and a half, so after 2 and a half hours, I was becoming a bit concerned. I went out to check on him, and he hadn't yet gotten even the rear window in. It seemed he was having trouble with the locking trim. Now, I'm not a glazier myself (why I hired one) but looking at the work ahead, it did seem pretty impossible to get the locking trim in place. He said the used locking trim I had was too old and stiff, and I would need new trim. I knew the trim is typically stiff, new or old, but figured he was the expert, so I dropped $270 to get new trim. A week later, it arrived, and I called him back to have it installed. To my eye and touch, the new trim was in nearly identical shape to the old trim (except the older trim looked just a bit more used), but again, I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to the professional. So he came back out the next day and spent 5 hours getting the locking trim into the back window. From what I've read, a non-professional should be able to get the front and back windows installed in from start to finish in less than an hour. And the work was rough (pictured). He tore chunks out of the new seals and had to go back over it with caulk to actually seal it up (which it probably isn't, and I will have to suffer leaks). Bear in mind this is on my car I just spent 7 grand on repainting and even more on new parts for restoration. He came back the next day for the front, and took just as long with the same results. I think the issue here is two-fold: Something may have been wrong with the seals themselves, or the windows or something to cause the locking strip to not be able to be installed correctly, or the glazier didn't know how to do the work. In either case, he should have _stopped_ working and told me he couldn't continue without destroying the seal. I would have gladly accepted that and paid him for his time and looked for someone who could do the work. I'm totally fine with that. That's 5-star service in my opinion. Instead, he barreled ahead and destroyed $500 worth of seals + $270 worth of locking trim, and the car is in worse shape than it was when he started. It's an eyesore, probably won't keep water out, and has cost me 3 times the amount. It sucks. It sucks that he spent all that time and effort and energy on his part. I feel for him, because I know he just wanted to complete the job for me. It sucks that he didn't just stop when he didn't know what to do. It sucks that I spent all that money and will have to spend more. It all sucks. I'm sorry for the bad review dude, I know you did your best, but if you don't know what you're doing, you need to stop. Everything will turn out better in the end for it. read more

Well the weather had other plans so we had to reschedule for the next week and they didn't have a problem with that. Joaquin fixed my windshield in an hour and a half. Safelite said (ini an email with SAFECO logo ,my Insurance (Safeco) wanted me to have my car recalibrated at no cost. After failing to do so on Saturday, left me with a car with warning lights and unable to use its (smart?) cruise control, even said if it did not have a warning before I should not have brought it in! [Safelite did try to fix it for more than 2 hours, and I think they did not bill my insurance company for this, anyway if they are not installing the glass I would not use them for this, and if I get a notice about my insurance company wanting me to do this I would confirm with them where to take it etc] Luckily Premium stepped right in and did this on Monday.
