We had a great experience with Kaizen Autoglass. We needed a windshield replacement after a rock strike left a large crack in our windshield. They came to our home to work on the car which was very convenient. They were super detail oriented and spent a lot of time cleaning up and removing the previous glass and adhesive before installing the replacement. After the new glass was in, they completed the ADAS recalibration and sent the official report to us via email. The new windshield looks immaculate and you cannot tell that it had ever been replaced. Danny and John were extremely pleasant, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed discussing cars, windshield repairs, and all the complexities involved with their specialty. Working with Danny from Kaizen Auto Glass Repair is someone who met all my expectations. He's someone who can install a windshield in his sleep blindfolded. He's like a surgeon with a scalpel! When he finally had my windshield removed, not one scratch, or gouge could be observed in the windshield pillar. Danny is friendly as stated in yelp reviews, and business oriented by being on time and working to his customers schedule. Danny is honest, I showed him a bad rock chip with a vertical crack about 3/4" long on my Toyota Tacoma. He recommended that I leave it be and not repair it stating the crack will spread because you have to drill into it to inject the epoxy. He's right, I had this happen on my Toyota Celica. Unlike his competitor the commercialized Mickey D's of windshield replacement down the street, who stated that this crack can be repaired. Yes, I've had more than one bad experience with them! I had 2 trucks repaired on the same day by them. My brand new 2021 platinum F150 had a rock chip that they made disappear. What really impressed me was that they replaced the windshield of my 1996 F150. This truck is a survivor with only 50k original miles. The flimsy windshield chrome trim pieces are notorious for bending and breaking when removing them. I was actually looking up replacement parts because I was sure they wouldn't be able to save them. For years we have noticed heavy condensation inside my vehicle every fall and winter due to cold and moisture in the air. We just dealt with it by waiting extra time for the windshield to defog during the winter months. But this year I noticed a quarter-sized bit of mold on my passenger side mat and decided it was time to see what needed fixing. I found that Kaizen had great reviews so I thought I would give them a try. It was great. I had an appt scheduled for a few days after I initially called and we dropped off my car with them for diagnostic testing of the seals and whatnot. I was expecting news that my whole front windshield had to be resealed or completely replaced, but they found the issue and fixed everything within three hours. The issue had something to do with grommets and dirty tubes (all that interior working stuff that most of us don't really think about). All I know is the overall fix was way cheaper than I was expecting (like 1/5th) and I'm so glad. AND from what the gentleman and I discussed this fix might end up fixing another issue I was having where my trunk would randomly pop open by itself due to pooling water messing with the trunk mechanism. Time will tell on that one, but that would be a super double bonus if this ends up solving that issue as well. I won't go into too much detail, but trying to get these two issues fixed at GMC never worked out as they ignored the condensation issue saying it would cost too much for their diagnostic fee for exploratory testing and they never even called us back on the several voice mails we left trying to schedule something for the trunk issue. So any future glass related items I am 100% using Kaizen instead of GMC. Highly recommend. read more

A great example how businesses needs to keep up with technology. With the snow and ice of February came the gravel and rock chips of March! Driving through Portland this weekend we were unfortunate enough to get a rock to the windshield. What a way to ruin our sunny day! Now, who can I find to fix this fault line running across my windshield? Of course, I turn to my trusty Yelp app. "Humm, lets try this quote feature" Sent off my request to a couple shops in my area (that was easy!) Half responded quickly, that is a good start. Two responded with specific questions to the car, (I'm liking where this is going.) However, John at Kaizen did not just ask me if my car had a heated windshield, he told me where to look and what to look for. I guess cars these days come with a multitude of different windshield options so getting the right one is very important. The quote price was far less than the other quotes that came in (some have still not responded.) With his helpfulness and competitive price, we decided to use Kaizen. We arrived at his shop and the first impression is it's immaculately clean, very impressed! John is super nice and very knowledgeable about cars, (we asked him about a defroster issue we are having with another vehicle that he was easily able to answer) He told us when the car would be ready so we let him get to work. A few hours later, he gave us a call that the car was done. When we arrive the car/windshield looked perfect, not sure what else you can ask for? As of this review, John has a perfect 100% rating, Mine will just add to that perfect score. A small rock chip ignored for a day or two turned into a full blown crack across the windshield while stuck in traffic. I shopped around and requested a few quotes from shops and the thing about Kaizen that stood out to me was the friendly, very prompt service. I asked 3 shops for a quote early in the morning and Kaizen (John) responded back within minutes and we discussed several options and scheduling that would fit into our schedule. Our working hours conflict with his business hours, but John was extremely accommodating which I was pleased about. It shows you the extra mile these guys go for their customers. Even though 1 of the 3 shops I reached out to quoted me a little less, I went with Kaizen because of this. I brought the car in, dropped it off around 3PM and came back 2 hours later (after they had closed) and it was ready for us to take home. I'm sure it was done long before that, but the fact that they waited for me shows their customer service. Service was straight forward, friendly and prompt with reasonable/competitive prices. Service is good but I wasn't happy with my actual replacement windshield. It's wavy on the passenger side which is a manufacturer defect but they couldn't see it, and I didn't want to go through the hassle of getting it redone. Plus the windshield wasn't super clean, like it had been sitting for a while. They did a great job with recalibration. read more

Can I give ten stars? Maybe the best consumer experience I've ever had: Car's side window smashed in a robbery the night before. Used Yelp's get quote feature to solicit from 7 different auto glass companies. Received Kaizen's quote in about 30 seconds. It wasn't just the fastest and the lowest, it was below my insurance deductible, so no claim necessary. Within two hours, a Kaizen tech was in my driveway replacing the window. After less than an hour, car was as good as new. Kaizen's slogan is 'never stop improving.' Hard to tell what they could possibly improve. Also hard to tell why anyone would use anyone else for auto glass repair. read more

Prompt service, very reasonable price quote to repair the rock chip in my front windshield that I know I got from a truck on my long commutes on I-5 because I heard a "crack" on my windshield and noticed the chip later. Kaizen came to my place just an hour after my husband called them to repair the rock chip. My husband went outside to greet him, and was back inside in a few minutes. The friendly Kaizen rep took one look, SCRAPED OFF THE DROP OF TREE SAP which I thought was a rock chip (c'mon, it's been there since early this year, through multiple car washes and windshield wipering). KAIZEN AUTO GLASS IS AMAZING! So I just got my windshield replaced here because I had a rock chip that cracked to like 20 inches lol.. I called them and they responded very quickly. They handled my insurance and were very knowledgeable. This was probably the easiest transaction I did. They replaced mine with an OEM Lexus Glass because I am on a lease and needed the same glass it came with. It was suppose to take 2.5-3 hours but it got done less than 2 hours. The facility for waiting is clean and WiFi was fast. I included company on Yelp Estimates Request, they were very fast to respond and in mid-range of pricing. My 2005 Ford Escape windshield was available in either top solar tint band or clear. I didn't know which to choose as I had clear originally but John had already ordered both types so I could view and select what I wanted. That is Customer Orientation at its best! I had arranged appointment with John and Moses did the work. My car was finished when a rainstorm happened but not to worry, I was able to drive home and happy to report not even a hint of a leak!
