Today, I attempted to change my insurance agency to one closer to my residence. The representative…read morewho responded declined to assist, citing that she was unable to process the request because Katie Carls was on maternity leave. She advised me to have my new agent contact Katie via email to request the change. When I inquired whether anyone else in the office could handle the request in Ms. Carls's absence, no alternative was offered, and the representative began to provide an explanation as to why she could not assist. I just googled how to do it online and was able to complete the change independently. It is disappointing when staff exhibit a lack of willingness to perform their duties, which I find quite surprising.
