First, she said that I would not gain weight, which I did. That was not good but not as bad as the fact that my hair fell out. Like a lot of hair. Probably 40-50% of my hair fell out. I have long curly hair. Yea, it was traumatic. My hair is finally grown out after about 2 years. For the 2 weeks I was on that drug, the inflammation in my ankle (and the rest of my body) went down significantly... as in, I was out of pain. That was glorious. Until the pain started coming back. I was very, very discouraged. I even stopped exercising for a long time. The only good thing about this traumatic experience is figuring out that inflammation in the body is what is causing all the pain. I use the foot inserts she recommended, which has helped a lot. I'm back to exercising and making good progress to not be in pain. Moral of the story: most prescriptions are garbage. Side effects are no joke. More morals to the story: organic foods, getting inflammatory foods out of your diet, exercise and great supplements (with side benefits, not side effects) are the only way to get back on track. It takes longer but you don't have to deal with hair falling out, gaining weight or other nasty side effects.
