Logan troubleshooted our 10 year old fridge and got it back to status quo in an hour; a previous tech had come out last year to correct our 20 year old GE washer (yea I know, it's time) without breaking a sweat. These guys know their stuff, show up on time, are polite and have all the dang tools needed. Recommended.

Cody did a great job troubleshooting and remedying slow heat up and recovery issues on my fryer…read more Yelp sent my project to several handymen, one of which, (with 100+ reviews), asked for pictures, the model, which I provided, and then simply responded with 'we don't service that model'; I had indicated in the request that there were no proprietary parts nor electronics that needed servicing, but Cody was the only one that responded with any indication that he knew how to fix the issue. He was courteous and professional on arrival, and sounded like he knew what he was doing. After performing a leak test on both ends of my gas hose, he suggested the issue was likely the large amount of rust that had built up around the connection point and offered to clean it and re-season it. He spent a couple hours cleaning and polishing it and several days after maintenance, I am pleased to say that my oil heat up time has gone down from 2 hours to about 50 minutes; he also explained how and when to perform the maintenance going forward, and recommended the tools and products to do it myself. Here are the facts-…read more I requested to be called by the manager, and received an email from a customer service instead. No attempt to resolve my issue was made. I think this speaks volumes about the company. They closed my claim without finishing the repair or my knowledge. The service call record (as in the email below) indicates they looked at my right oven (I have a double oven), but it was the left oven with the issue. I was present when the service tech was there. He quickly diagnosed the issue (I believe he said it was a faulty ignition pan that was firing to early, and said he would need to order a new one). The truth is that this company has trouble following through with service calls. They've wasted enough of my time with Pro-serve, but I suggest you never let them start wasting yours. (email below) Dear Mr. Waters, Thank you for contacting us today. We apologize for the inconvenience and intend to clarify our records and the Home Warranty service procedures. Below is a copy of our records regarding our last visit to your home: **10/30 BM out-Went to home spoke w/ customer about gas smell. Found gas smell to be in right oven. BM found igniter works, it just takes about 15 to 20 seconds to ignite burner. No gas leak and oven works within specs. No deductible, no repairs needed at this time. If there are problems with the oven at this time, the procedure is to place a work order with your home warranty; and they will assign us or another company to diagnose the unit under warranty. Regarding parts being ordered that would be up to your warranty company in this case. We suggest you contact them for coverage inquiries. Our technician communicates findings to them, and they are responsible for discussing their options with you. As examples, they have removed old pipe insulation in my parent's basement, and painted the outside of my large craftsman that needed a huge amount of prep. I am a woman who has owned and managed property for some time, and I have never felt talked-down-to, nor taken advantage of by them like can happen with other handymen. I have worked with Frank Jr. and Frank Sr. They communicate well, and they show up with their contracted workers on time, get the job done, and do a quality job. Most of my projects are not terribly difficult or complex. Mostly fix this, repair that, less than a day to complete type of projects, Frank's was not what I was looking for. Frank's is an actual company with a professionally done web site, multiple employees and a "can do" list that even the most competent sole proprietor handyman doesn't have. They are close by and will come out to look over the job and make a bid on it which for me is a big plus. So far, so good. Reasonably priced. Very responsive. Quality work.
