Prices were really good, and not only do you not have to request a copy of your eye prescription , they hand you one on the way out the door, with access to your account online where you can down load it on command. Dr. LeClaire is very thorough with her exam and spends so much time with contact lens fitting. Every time I go in for an annual eye exam and contact lens fitting, she looks for what's best for me. She usually sends me home with trial lenses with a new prescription to try out for a couple of weeks. A couple of years ago, I tried out three different prescriptions until I found what works best for me. She had me back for quick follow-up appointments to make sure of proper fitting each time, and there was no charge for them. It really shows how much she cares about her patients. The staff in the office are very helpful and very pleasant. They always checks my insurance benefits, and there's never been a surprise. I didn't even know what it was until I looked it up, and I didn't realize that without it I wouldn't be able to see up close because none of that was explained to me. When I declined "upgrades," I thought that meant things like anti-glare or scratch-resistant coatings -- not something essential for actually seeing clearly. The staff were friendly, but clearer communication about prescriptions for first-time progressive wearers would be very helpful. I hope this feedback improves the experience for future customers. I have been going to Mt. Baker Vision for over a decade. I recently took my daughter to pickup her…read morenew glasses and was helped by a woman I've not seen before. When I noticed her new glasses were bifocals, I informed her there must be a mistake, because all my daughter's lens are single vision. She insisted my daughter has had bifocals for the past 2yrs. I told her no, that's not accurate, back and forth. She turns the laptop towards me and says let me show you. I said I don't need to see inaccurate information and took my daughter current glasses she got 2022 and said this her last glasses and there single vision and laid it down on the desk for her to examine. Instead, this woman all of a sudden raised her voice accused me of yelling at her and that I threw my daughter's glasses at her, right in front of my daughter and others that were in the area. I was taken aback and got angry and then I raised my voice saying "what did you just say? I didn't throw anything at you! Why would you lie and behave so unprofessional in front of other people? I immediately told her, to get someone else. Another person came, she too was insistent claiming my daughter has bifocals and even said she got new bifocal lens last year Not true. She also said her current glasses from 2yrs ago was actually from 2017. Wrong again. Then she says, your right that is from 2yrs ago. I told her to redo her new glasses in single vision and left. I later got a call from office manager and apparently that woman who started this entire situation told the manager I called her a name. That didn't happen either. The manager said she stands by their records. I realized at that moment this office was unwilling to admit or even consider the information in my daughter's records may be wrong and that a mistake was made. Any professional office would of instead said, we'll look into the records and see what's happened, because the records say she had bifocals, but her current and past glasses are all single vision. Nope, they're unwilling to admit they could be wrong. The unprofessional conduct from employees and that awful situation experienced from Mt Baker Vision that day, ended my decades long relationship as customer. What I experienced that day, I will not forget. I left review on their website. It never posted or was deleted.

I felt confident by the information he imparted that he truly was expert in this area. He was very forthcoming with potential complications in my situation, and he involved me in his decision to diverge from his original plan to potentially increase the likelihood of the most optimal outcome based on my needs and wants, explaining his rationale and giving me choice. His plan worked! On the personal side, I found him to be a very caring physician and one invested in good communications. I found him easy to talk to, comfortable, genuinely pleasant and highly personable. He takes his time, ensuring you get what you need from him as he considers reasonable options. He explains well and checks-in with you. I felt informed, plus I felt wholly attended to. He is responsive. I never felt pressed or rushed even when extra time was needed for checking my specifics or optimizing strategies for my case. It was made clear to me on several occasions--and not all involving me--that he is dedicated to best outcomes for patients. I cannot recommend him highly enough. I trusted him with my eyes--I would trust him with a lot more.
