We had to negotiate with Thomas in order to "only" be charged for the cherry tree. In addition to this huge mistake, Clay's Tree Service did not finish cutting our cherry tree down to size, debris was left throughout the backyard, and they trampled our front yard, turning it into a mud pit. When Thomas's team came by to clean up some of the mess they made, they hit a tree in our front yard with their truck, taking off a large limb. They had the temerity to not notify us of this damage and, upon being confronted, offered us additional "service" as compensation for the damage. This was a horrible experience and I recommend avoiding using Clay's Tree Service in the strongest possible terms.

We had the sidewalk replaced and I tried to cut down branches that were hitting cars. But the tree was overdue for a pruning. I left a message for a company I knew about, but they aren't pruning trees anymore so they forwarded my info to Second 2 None. When I was at work, Panta went to my house to inspect the tree and he gave me a quote. The price sounded good and Second 2 None is a local company, so I made an appointment with them. Panta worked with my schedule so that I could be home when they came. They arrived this morning when he said they would. I appreciate their punctuality and it turns out Panta is a super nice guy. More importantly, it looks to me like they did an excellent job pruning the elm tree and cleaning everything up. I think their skillful work was definitely worth the cost and they were very professional, so 5 stars. I will also recommend them to my neighbors who have large trees.
