After choosing our items, my husband did the ordering, and I picked a table. We ordered La Firenze and La Venezia. They only had half of La Firenze left, so I got a cup of soup - Wild Rice. They have "help yourself" water, so I went and they were out. The counter was super busy, so I waited. I went again, it was still out, so I asked for some. The lady was helpful, but sarcastic (I'm SUPER sarcastic, and I've found it doesn't work well in a service environment. I have to just be straightforward and nice.) La Venezia was SO GOOD!! La Firenze was good, but nothing compared to La Venezia-it's flavors kind of explode in your mouth. The wild rice soup was okay, it had lots of wild rice, which was good, but the flavor was a little dull. The extra seating area is really nice - has lots of light, well decorated. We enjoyed our time in there.

We both ordered burgers, one we topped with cheddar, fried onions, and green olives, the other was topped with pepper jack, bacon, fried onions, and mushrooms. Both were very good! We've decided you must have bacon on the burger. We also ordered onion rings with one of the burgers, and those were good - crispy and warm. Our server was friendly, and when we got our check, another server (the owner's mother) asked how our food was. She found out that it was our anniversary, and she brought us out a dessert. It was really sweet!

(The server was also the bartender and owner, nice guy). Jackie also served us and she was super nice and efficient as well. We also had the soup and salad bar which was very tasty and fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back

We can typically split a large (4 slices each) when hungry and the price point wasn't too bad for a lake town. Welllll the 18-inch was giant and we only ate half- be warned that the 14 inch was perfect for 2 hungry people, and the 18 inch would definitely feed 4 at least! Pros: pizza was pretty fast and yummy (especially after a day at the lake and driving up north), service was friendly, the boat table we sat at was neat. Cons: it took a while to be seated due to some confusion/ some parties waiting for their checks, it was very hot in the restaurant, bathrooms were pretty dirty (hair in the sink, trash overflowing, and no paper towel), and the pizza flavor was just meh. We ordered a pizza with pineapple, jalapeño, and buffalo chicken but the pineapple tasted canned and the chicken wasn't saucy and flavored. It hit the spot but wasn't anything to write home about. Would have been better with a drizzle of ranch or barbecue.
