I genuinely hate having to leave a review like this because the majority of the staff at this facility are amazing. They're friendly, helpful, and are a big part of why I continue coming back. I've even recommended this facility to several friends and family members because, overall, it's a great place to bring kids and spend the day. Unfortunately, one employee continues to ruin what should be an enjoyable experience every time I visit. No matter how polite I am, she approaches me or others with an attitude, speaks in a disrespectful tone, and seems more interested in arguing than helping guests. If you're the first person greeting people as they walk in, customer service should be a priority. A smile and respectful communication go a long way. The most frustrating part is that I know the facility's dress code. I even bring extra swim shorts for children who come with me in case their parents forget proper swim attire. During my most recent visit, she insisted my swim shorts were gym shorts, even after I repeatedly explained they were purchased from the swimwear section specifically for this pool. On my very first visit, I had already spoken with the manager about these exact shorts, and he came to the understanding they were swimwear. I purposely buy longer swim shorts because I prefer more coverage around children at a public pool--not because I'm trying to break the rules. And they sell thousands of types of swimwear just because I don't buy a cheap skimpy bottom and have my buttcheeks out don't make my swim shorts NOT swim shorts . Why would they be in the swim section if they weren't? they wouldn't be . I have a few gym shorts that look like swim shorts but I don't wear those because they're NOT swim shorts and they weren't purchased from the swim section What made the situation even more frustrating was watching several other guests wearing cotton shorts walk right in without anyone saying a word, while I was the one being questioned despite wearing actual swimwear. I've also seen children in the pool wearing cotton T-shirts that are clearly not intended for swimming, but I keep my mouth shut because it's not my place to police other guests. If I wanted to nitpick and point out every rule violation I saw, I easily could--but I don't. That's why it was so frustrating to feel like I was being singled out over something that had already been addressed with management. If the rules are going to be enforced, they should be enforced fairly and consistently for everyone--not selectively. This also wasn't my first negative interaction with this employee. During a previous visit, she took my young niece out of the pool and started walking toward the front entrance with her without ever informing me what was happening. I was right there, calling out to her, but instead of stopping to explain what she was doing, she kept walking. Only after I got her attention did she finally turn around and tell me she was taking my niece to have her height checked again. As the adult responsible for my niece, I found that extremely upsetting. A child should never be taken away from the pool area without first communicating with the adult supervising them. I immediately spoke with the manager because I didn't think that was appropriate. He tried to make the situation right by asking her to apologize/ explain, but before she even came over,( I observe everything face expressions to body language to what even was said to see if I'm taken seriously ) I overheard her laughing and giggling as if the entire situation was a joke. She acted like she couldn't believe she even had to apologize. When she finally did, it didn't feel sincere at all. Ever since that day, every interaction I've had with her has been just as unprofessional. To make matters worse, after my most recent interaction, I asked the manager for the employee's name so I could address my complaint appropriately. He refused to provide it, which was disappointing. It made me feel like management was more interested in protecting the employee than addressing a legitimate concern from a guest. Because of that, I have no choice but to leave my feedback about the facility as a whole instead of the individual responsible. I've only been coming here for about a month, but in that short amount of time I've brought several friends and family members because I genuinely thought this was a wonderful place. The facility itself is great, and the majority of the staff are fantastic. That's exactly why this experience has been so disappointing. One employee's repeated attitude, lack of professionalism, and inconsistent treatment of guests shouldn't outweigh all the positive things this facility has to offer. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. Better training, accountability, and professionalism would go a long way. Guests deserve to be treated with respect, and rules should be applied fairly and consistently to everyone. read more

Nice pool, clean, well maintained and serviced. They have plenty of life guards and often have summer night events (that fill up quick) I'm giving them 3 stars because it's a public pool with limited recreational hours. They'll do recreation hours for 1 hour sessions at 2:30pm to 3:30pm then again from 7:30pm to 8:30pm. The rest of the time this pool is only open for paid classes. On a hot summer day, this place is useless which is not just disappointing but a disservice to the community as it's our one source of this type in the city. read more

Swimming Arobics was great and the institute are well knowledge the water temp is just right very clean and well kept

Me and my cousin were swimming and decided we wanted to do the swim test to pass to the deep side, we passed it and swam to the other side. A worker there started yelling at us and asking very rudely if we had passed the test, my cousin and I showed her our arms from a distance and she gave us a very sarcastic "ok". Personally I believe she should have came to the other side and checked us instead of yelling at us, Very annoyed. read more

Great place to come for a swim in the neighborhood! Not to crowded, but we went on a Monday. $4 to swim for adults during open swim. Shaded areas and a cute wading pool for the little ones. Nice place to come and beat the heat when you don't feel like beach sand, parking, and summer traffic right in your town! read more

Awesome!!!! Staff is wonderful. They offer swimming lessons at a reasonable price ( even for non residents) and the instructors are helpful and knowledgeable. The water aerobics classes are fun, can be done at your own speed and help trim down, gain mobility and ease soreness. Love this place and would totally recommend it to anyone. Great public pool. It's only open to the public for a few hour but it's worth it. I had lots of fun with my toddler and 9year old niece. A side from the regular pool, they have a baby/toddler pool. We went at night and both pools were heated. They have restrooms with showers. read more

This is a great aquatics center. I just discovered their water aerobics this past summer and I'm sooo glad I did. Nice and clean facility. The staff is great, especially Kaleb the senior lifeguard/instructor .So happy to have discovered this place. And I don't even mind the drive from Anaheim hills, I value it that much. read more

My kids have been doing swimming lessons here. We love the pools. They are open for the couple hours during the day and have movie nights as well. My kids love going to there lessons we have had Bryan twice and let me tell he is amazing with kids. My kids are 3-6 . They are advancing like they should and look forward to there classes. The sign up and get private lessons is very competitive so you need to go early to sing them up. read more

Caution Parents!!!! *** Update: Employees are now sending me anonymous messages, calling me a B****. Terrible experience happened to my son the other day during his swim class with Adonnis, Swimming Instructor. My son was struggling to do flip in the water and the instructor told him "you gotta fucking do it" and after my son attempted multiple times the instructor told him "fuck, never mind". I approached the manager there told her I wanted to speak to Teneale, the Recreational Coordinator, the manager told me she was in the office, but was "too busy to come out".  I was appalled that an instructor who works with kids would use inappropriate language to address their students and I was even more shocked that managerial staff would dismiss such an incident. I asked if I can switch instructors and I was told that she could not accommodate my request, and that "..we are already accommodating you too much by letting you use staff restroom." (My son is 10, and I am not ready for him to use the Men's restroom on his own). I was in complete shock that she will throw that in my face. I asked, "where do you expect us to use the restroom then?" (This was in front of my son)She responded, "Well you have a restroom in your house don't you?" I really could not believe her treatment. I insisted that my son is not a liar. My son was afraid to tell me what the instructor said. I had to help my son to control his breathing and help him relax. He said, "I don't want to say it because it's a bad word." I told him, "it's ok. I give you permission." I insisted that I wanted them to make things right. I did not want to take a refund. ( she just wanted to get rid of us) I wanted a new instructor. To Make matters worst, she insulted both my son and I, all while my son was next to me by saying, "Maybe that is why your son doesn't understand. I'm trying to tell you we are going to go check in the front and you are not understanding me. " She never had any intention in finding me a class. I left the class so disappointed, unwelcome, and like things were out of my control. My son had just been verbally abused, and his self esteem was to the ground. It has been hard for me to try to build my son's self esteem, we finally find something he enjoys and Had been so excited to finally reach a new level, so that some stupid instructor could come and shut his light out, and to add to it Teneale the person in charge there just dismissing it and wanting to get rid of us with a refund. I ended up emailing her superiors. I give them that they met me the next day and did Teneale's job for her. They offered me a new instructor. That guys is still working there. This is the 3rd summer I bring my son here for lessons. I've loved it till now. I paid for level 3 and an employee directed us to an instructor that taught level 1. I brought it up to the attention of the evening staff and they assured me their supervisor would be calling me and "fix" the situation. No one called me. I missed the new registration waiting for that call and now I have to wait for the next registration. This review is strictly for the manner in which they handled this situation. Horrible experience! Rude staff and not organize during check in . Arriving no friendly smiles it was pass 1:30 no check in and nobody bothered to explain rules. Lifeguards just sitting avoiding sun and shouting across the pool instead of approaching my staff and students. I understand they don't want children slipping but floor was very hot! I will not be taken my school to this facility again. I rather go back to Cerritos were they appreciate their clients.
