I've been coming here for almost ten years now. The price is cheaper compared to other places. However, the machines are either not working, would trip out during the cycle or simple just aren't that great. Place kept somewhat clean, but it could be totally better compared to other laundromats. Last wash, as far as I know based on previously put up signs, have been 8:30. This place suck. The washing machine wouldn't start I inserted $12 for a $5.75 wash. I tried pushing the return button to release the coins and it didn't work. I called the attendant and explained what had happened. He said it my fault and will not refund the change. Please don't come here. It is a SCAM WASHING MACHINE. Go to a different laundromat. read more

Do not come here! The lady here is stupid she start my machine and I explain to her that I put over money on my machine and I would like to get my money back. She pressed the start button and said I have to talk to the owner. I called the owner 23 times, and he answer and just hung up on me and called again many times. That's so stupid. After my laundry is done my clothes are still wet literally wet that still have water. And they don't even help me. Of course, their machine is broken, This is a SCAM LAUNDRY STORE. Probably one of the cleanest and kept up laundry mats I've ever been to. Wide variety of washers and dryers.

Nice place w/ good prices! I've gone here many times to use their SUPER CAPACITY washing mashines. Love how many of these extra large machines they've got. Paying $5-6 to wash & dry is good for such a huge machine, according to my friend who's used to using awful apt machines that cost abt the same for small/old/often gross equipment. These work great & fast too, never out of order/always clean! Can always find one open, too--no waiting. This size is great for an extra thick queen/king size comforter that doesn't work well in my home machine. Sure, it fits--but jammed in my washing machine? Doesn't seem like a good idea! Haven't been there in a while (no use for comforters yet in summertime heat). Now that it's time to get em out, look forward to the nice machines that easily fit my comforter & several lg bath sheets/hand towels/wash cloths. Once I used two of those machines, one for the comforter/towels & the 2nd easily accommodated ALL my other laundry--10 days worth+ of clothes, etc! (I try not to wash too often w/this water shortage.) Everything came out great... actually, cleaner than at home & my clothes smelling 'freshly washed' for a lot loooonger time. Pleasantly surprised! Ok, I'll admit this too... I have an older dog w/short hair that gets cold easily. Since I found this place, I've done a few loads of 'dog blankets' too. Dog blankets are the same as regular ones but they're exclusively for my dog's use. Those short dog hairs & my HE machine at home just *don't* mix... meaning a dog hair mess in the machine/a less clean blanket--either of which cause potential allergy issues for me. Eek! At this laundromat, thankfully everything's great! The blankets come out just as clean & wonderful as my clothes. Well, except for the fresh detergent smell--I use an unscented detergent for my spoiled pup so they're fresh/unscented AND free of tiny dog hairs! The machine there stays nice and clean too--I'm so very impressed! Norwalk Laundry is all-around great and best of all, it solves two of my home laundry problems w/ease! Nice guy works there, too :). It's located at 20300 Norwalk Blvd in the shopping ctr at corner of Del Amo Blvd near Metro PCS in Lakewood CA. (Would give it a full 5 stars if there was wifi! Since there isn't, I've left thgs & came back at the end time on the machine's countdown timer. Never had a problem w/theft or items being moved. Would still prefer to stay & surf if it was an option, maybe grab a Starbucks from down Del Amo to bring w/me!) read more

Always clean, staff is friendly, they have very well maintained washers and dryers are very hot and work quite well. I started coming here since the washers at my apartment complex couldn't get anything clean at all! I had the same mustard stain on a shirt for months of washes... One trip here and using their brand new Wascomat washers and that stain was history! I personally prefer the $4.00 40 lb washers which are really awesome. Drying I just split it up a little into two loads and dry each one 20 minutes for 50 cents each. Works great and cheaper than my complex would be charging! read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!! Been coming here for over 3 months at least one to three times a week. There are better laundromats near by but this one is close and convenient. To be honest this place is old, dirty, and the workers are dicks. I had some things in the dryer at 8:05 pm for 40 minutes knowing they close at 9:00 pm. I went home for a minute and came back at 8:50 threw my things in a bag and was out by 8:53 pm. I was the last one and the elderly couple was waiting to close. They started complaining to me about taking too long to do my laundry. How can I take too long to do my laundry ? The machines are never ALL being used and I was done well before they are SUPPOSED to close. They told me to go somewhere else and stop going there. They didn't even say anything to my face, one was yelling stuff from the back room and the other was yelling stuff from the car. Like wtf? I was back well before closing time, my clothes were sitting there for 5 minutes at the most, and if your going to ban me from your business at least come talk to me like a person with a reason why not yell at me from behind a door like a bitch. Don't get mad at me because you want to close early. If you're trying to leave at 8:45 make your closing time 8:45 and I'll make sure I'm done before that time, don't get mad at me cause I made you stay 5 minutes longer then when you wanted to leave. I have NEVER written a review but I have never been treated like this before. These people were so rude and disrespectful it's all I can do. This business obviously does not need or care about their loyal customers so I would gladly go to another laundromat. This place is a rip off anyways, they charge too much for machines that don't get your clothes clean or dry and there's nowhere to sit. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!! read more

It's a cheap laundry shop. But the thing is customers can only use the dryer if they used the washing machine too. I went here 1 yr before closing. No other people left, I used their dryer but it says that for the convenience of other customers, customers who uses washing machine can use dryers and the owner told us that. There are no other customers left. What convenience are they talking about. Next time put a sign that says it directly. Remove the convenience. read more

Worst place to wash. I come here because it's the closest one. I came to wash at 7:20pm and the cleaning lady told me that they close at 9pm. So I begin drying at 8:20pm and only had 2 loads! So she starts telling me to hurry up and dry and to split up my loads to dry quicker! 2 minutes later she tells me to NOT FOLD because she leaves at 9pm!! I told her not to worry that my clothes will be out before 8:40pm and I will not be folding! What is there problem!!?? And they have a NO WORKING SIGN ON THERE $1.50 MACHINES AND THERE CHANGE MACHINE....BUUTTT THEY ALL WORK!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

Don't come here. I'm never coming here again. The price is " great". About a $1 cheaper than the other nearest laundromat but the older man running the store is a complete pain. First, There's been several occasions where the coin machine takes your money but dispenses the incorrect amount or doesn't dispense at all. If you mention that it took your money he will roll his eyes at you and try to school you on how to make sure the bill is "crisp". As if we need a lesson. Second, there's been several occasions where I will arrive at 7:30-7:40 to take my clothes out of the dryer (they close at 8 covid times, normal hours are until 9pm) and he'll come out and yell at you saying things like "hurry up and don't fold your clothes just take it" or "we are closed your machine says it has 5 minutes left but take it out anyway". Third, this man doesn't wear a face mask while he is out with you. (I'm assuming he is the owner). Unprofessional man. Lastly, many people have been mentioning the roach problem and there is a roach problem. Won't be comming here anymore. If you're willing to drive 1-2 more minutes down the street to "family coin laundry" I would. The staff there is very professional and the lady that manages it is very friendly. Finding roaches around the area. I always see people park on the ramp for the roller laundry basket. The management doesn't do anything about it. Last laundry suppose to be 9 pm the worker refuse to let anybody in if you come in at 8 pm. Came back again to this laundry place maybe there are changes around since the hey have me machine . Oh yes they do have new machine but the rudeness of the person managing the place still there. I paid more than I pay for a regular laundry. I paid $2.75 then the machine asking me to pay more; talked to the manager he insisted I must put another 6 coins. I know exactly how much coins I put in the machine because I counted my coins it's exactly 2 set of $2.75 plus I have 3 quarter for my dryer. I Am NOT GOING TO DO MY LAUNDRY IN THIS PLACE EVER. People managing this place are mean no wonder someone broke their window. Am sorry it happened to them but the way they treat people is getting worst. I am not recommending this place. read more

Tonight I had 3 large loads of laundry so I used their most expensive machines for each load. Then I went to dry. The owner/Manager came to yell at me and tell me I was putting too much clothes in the dryer! I was like ok I have been coming here for over a year, and you want to tell me how many clothes to put in here? He told me his dryer will stop working. Ok that sounds like a maintenance issue to me!
