We had our dog at other day cares before without a problem. We found Ashland doggy day care. Not a million dollar building but the caregivers here are worth their weight in gold. So glad we found this business.

We no longer recommend this daycare. After 3 years of our dog attending regularly, we were shocked…read moreto learn he was "permanently dismissed." During all that time, we were only ever informed of one incident -- over a year ago -- which was described as a brief "scuffle" while several dogs went through a gate together. We were told there were no injuries, and after a short break, our dog returned to play with no further issues. There were no other incidents that day or at any other time until we were informed of his dismissal when we picked him up at the end of the day. Since his dismissal, we've made multiple attempts to get details about any other incidents and were denied. We even tried to speak directly with the practice owner and veterinarian, but she never responded. This has been extremely disappointing. As responsible pet parents, we wanted to understand what happened so we could address any behavioral issues -- but we were given no opportunity to do so. After years of loyalty to both the clinic and daycare (with as many as three dogs in their care at a time), the lack of transparency and unwillingness to communicate has left us questioning everything. They denied us any chance to correct behavior and keep our relationship as customers, and the practice owner's silence speaks volumes about how little they value long-term clients.

A neat little lobby with tables and chairs that anyone can use. They also sell treats, toys etc. it is all self serve with a card or cash. The bath itself is unreal. Big Bath. You can leash them or let them roam free in the tub. The hose shoots out every thing, the soap, conditioner, flea and tick treatment and it's all timed so you can use as much or as little as you want. Easy to switch to different settings with just. Push of a button. Each bath has a dryer hose as well and towels are supplied. Just ask to clean up after yourself. There's also a disinfectant setting to clean up after yourself. We tried a few different tubs for our dogs and this by far blows them away $10 for 10 minutes and 6 additional minutes is $4. Great for all sizes. As for the area, well lit and very nice in North Royalton. There is a button on the wall you can push if you have any questions or need something. Definite 10 out of 10

They even have a drier. There are separate areas that close your pet in with you, and the area is very clean. They do ask that you disinfect the tubs, which makes sense, and that is free. They provide towels, an apron if need one, and a mop to clean up after yourself. They have great hours; open til 9, and it's well maintained. I find it easier to wash my dog there because the clean-up is easy. The tubs are clean and seem low enough for most dogs to get into. I really like this place. I wish I knew about it sooner.
