I had called to book an appointment for a month down the road, the receptionist gave me a date and I had asked to make sure this date is available as I would have to ask my manager to take time off in advance. The receptionist gave me re-assurance so I had asked to take time off from work. 1.5 weeks later, I get a call from the receptionist stating "we are sorry, but we made a mistake and the doctor will not be in during your appointment date and you will have to make another appointment". I found this to be highly unprofessional as it took them 1.5 weeks later to inform me that they had made a mistake, on top of the fact that I had to rework my schedule and the schedule of my work colleagues because they were not able to keep track of their own calendar.

I was talking my husband on the phone and it was very rude of her to be yelling at me when I'm on the phone with my husband. Everyone in that office was rude. I have a disability and that's why I have a service dog and they refused and treated me very very badly. I am 65 years old with a disability and this is how they treated me.

Called the insurance company and they said that the office didn't submit the correct coding, called the practice manager back and she said that is 'how they do it'. The practice also has a cool digital retinal mapping instead of dilation, but...the price increases every 2 years - same machine, so unclear of why the price is going up. In the end, the front end of this business has inept staff (their original office manager retired and she was great and I had no issues at all with my insurance being coded correctly). The new staff are arrogant, needless to say, I will be not continuing with care here.
