I stopped by in October for a quick coffee and breakfast. The place is a little janky but I like all the nostalgia games and decor. We got coffee, mini beignets ($5), and banana foster ($13) and they were all solid. The place was packed with lots of people waiting around, but it didn't take too long to get our order (whereas some people that ordered alcoholic drinks had a huge wait for some reason). The beignets were small but nice, light, and crispy with good powdered sugar. The banana foster was a huge portion and also very tasty.

Super cute place - great decor and perfect for a quick breakfast/coffee stop. We were greeted with a friendly hello once entering which was nice. It was empty so we were skeptical BUT it was late morning on a Sunday - so we figured everyone was just getting up and out. We placed our order at the counter and then sat in a cute little area surrounded by retro video games. Love that! We got basic breakfasts - we just wanted something in our bellies before walking around in the Nola heat. Everything was tasty and nice and hot. My iced coffee was great as well! Come check out Nostalgia when in town!

Yeah they have old school arcade games in the spot, you can play while you wait or sip on your coffee.

Great coffee selections , great atmosphere. There are allot of ways to enjoy your coffee, which can be a bit of a challenge if your not an experienced coffee drinker .. That's another reason why I loved this spot. There website actually breaks down the different styles of making coffee I ended up getting the " black eye" on ice.. Had a chance to meet the lady's who own the spot on my visit. Great coffee, locally ran, black owned establishment. https://www.nostalgianola.com/

Just what you would imagine to find at a place like this.

If you are not a local and have some down time Nostalgia is a great place to kick it. They have some really nostalgic items like vintage arcade games, VHS tapes and decor that will trigger 80s babies feels and they have music to go along with it which is cool. Barista was cool and helpful and the drink was "meh" we ordered a chai tea and it was pre made. We were expecting something made on the spot. So maybe stick to coffee if you want something made there. The main reason to come here would be to play some arcade games listen to the music and just go down memory lane. They had the classic Ninja Turtles, NFL blitz, NBA 2k, PacMan just to name a few. Just buy an item to get access to the games and enjoy your time there.

Cute little spot right next to the Sheraton off of Canal. Went on a Friday night. Nice vibes with the lights dimmed, the music playing not too loud and the vintage VHS playing on the old school oversized TV. There is an area where you can play console games on the TV. There are some vintage arcade games and some card & board games as well. Now let's talk about food. I am a food lover but what's more important is customer service. If you have an amazing product or great food but bad service that's a zero out of five for me but this place...customer service was great. One couple in front of us was ordering when we entered and he (the staff) was patient while we looked over the menu then answered all of our questions respectfully. The food was amazing too. I mean soooo good. We will definitely visit this place again next time we are in town.

Cute retro coffee shop. There's video gaming if you want to check it out. I came in for my morning coffee and they have over 30 different flavors. They brewed a fresh coffee for my friend and me. The service was so impeccable. They were funny and sweet. I got the lavender honey latte and it was so good! I would come back for another flavor. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this location!

Cute little coffee shop, great coffee and friendly service. Took awhile to get a breakfast burrito but it was so worth the wait!

What a cute little coffee shop with old video games to play for free. The coffee was delicious and the service was friendly. We ordered a breakfast burrito which was so delicious and perfectly made, although it took a long time to make but was worth it!

    Iced tea - paradise

What's not to love about a coffee shop that thrust you back to the 90s! The art work and creative placement mixed with nostalgic games, movies and music sets a fun, carefree environment to sip and enjoy coffee/tea. I enjoyed the tea and the music was also a great addition. The owner was also here when I came and was very welcoming and knowledgeable on the coffee. Nostalgia has a vast variety for tea and coffee ! I will definitely be back when I am in New Orleans.

Great venue and coffee. We need more places like this!

Great coffee and croissant. I could spend all day playing the games in there. What a cool place!

Happened to stumble across this shop since our rental was so close. Tried coffees all over the city and this was my favorite. Tried different drinks everyday and each one did not disappoint. They had a live dj Sunday night and we came in just to hang out before bedtime with our toddler. Customer service is top notch and the arcade games are a hit for the whole family. Must try!

This coffee shop was so cool! They had tons of games, and it was good vibes. The coffee was a 10/10!!! And the baristas were so kind! I had the pumpkin chai coffee and it was honestly the best pumpkin coffee I've had! My sister and brother had the brown sugar bae coffee, and the cinnamon toast crunch coffee and they were also good! Highly recommend this place!

Best coffee I had all d*** week! They had so many flavors of syrups and the best vibes. Every other coffee I ordered in NOLA was milk, with a litttttlle bit of coffee, but this was wonderful. Go for the coffee, stay and play a game. Great service as well, I asked the barista for a suggestion for flavor and he hooked me up with a white chocolate/lavender iced latte... y'all... be sure to check them out!!

Cortado was delish (it was full... I took the picture after enjoying half) with well pulled espresso

I thought that they were teasing me at first, but no. They checked my ID. Thank you!! That made my day!! As far as the arcade, it is like Chuck-E-Cheese for grownups. A token vending machine against the wall. Four token for $1. A bar serving very reasonably priced adult beverages. (And sodas and water.) Love the wooden green picnic tables. We got a handful of tokens and then started to play. Godzilla and Mandalorian Pinball. Skee-Ball. Arcade basketball. Video games like Pac-man and Tetris. And a very competitive foosball game between my daughters. Just like when they were growing up. The murals covering the walls are by local artists. There are four pool tables. They even let you bring in your own catered food. Amazing. Started by two brother in Chicago, you can feel how this bar is really a local place to vibe with your family and friends. Everyone from the bouncers checking IDs to the bar tender to fellow patrons was so chill. A memorable night capped by playing a game of "Frogger" as we managed to successfully cross the street to our parked car. Thanks to Thomas and his KREWE for a great way to celebrate our daughter's graduation day. (So much better than dinner at Commander's Palace!)

Upon arrival, they are only serving drinks happy hour and not good. The explanation that was given is that the menu and website are out dated. While ordering, we were informed they were out of fries. One person's food came before our drinks ever arrived and we had to go get our own silverware. (Yes we waited for about 2 mins). The boneless chicken bites hit the spot and a loaded bake potato was offered in lieu of fries. We had Dangerous Water and Moonshine LIT. The water drink was very strong but tasty. Definitely take your time and drink responsibly. The moonshine was too sweet for my taste but my husband liked it. We also ordered nachos, which the presentation was good. I also ordered a side apple salad. the nachos arrived. About 5 mins later, I was informed they did not have all ingredients to make the apple salad so I could have a regular salad. We thought it would be fun to go play some games since we were right up the street and didn't have any plans besides dinner later that evening. I downloaded the app and did the virtual card, but wasn't sure how it all worked so I had a question or two. The girl at the desk was VERY nonchalant and unknowledgeable with the process. We were just there to play, I told her we had the virtual card and asked how do we use it and her response was, "I don't know, but you can go in and try to figure it out." WHAT???? Ok so we did that and started playing several games. We gained a few tickets before noticing that we needed to leave to get ready for our evening reservation, so we went to the winners circle and the virtual card wouldn't scan , the young lady at the winners circle, I think her name was Daisy, was very kind, very patient, took the necessary steps, but still nothing worked. When the manager came over, he said, " it doesn't work with virtual cards, you hb to go to the desk and she can transfer it to a physical card" WHAT??? (this is yall app, yall virtual card) Anywho, we went to the desk and this woman (the staff member) had her purse on the desk, messing with her phone (doing something with the Sim card), never looked up when I asked her to transfer the ticket balance to a physical card and said, "a manager has to do that"- Needless to say, we got on the elevator and left. It's good to know the chips and the tickets don't expire but I'm not sure if I want to visit this location again.

From the initial booking all the way through the end of our event, everything was seamless, organized, and truly professional. We hosted around 75 guests and opted for a light menu that included crab cakes, jambalaya, sliders, wings, and an ice cream bar--everything was absolutely delicious and well-received. The staff went above and beyond to make the event special. Vernon (ice cream bar attendant), Mya (our personal hostess), Jennifer (event coordinator), and Anthony (bartender), were all outstanding--friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. Their energy and positivity never wavered throughout our 7-hour event, and they made such an impression that it felt like they were part of the celebration. We reserved the Game Parlor along with four lanes, which gave our guests plenty of space to relax and enjoy themselves. The venue itself has a beautiful aesthetic, so it doesn't require much décor--but we appreciated the flexibility to personalize the space. The staff also contributed creative ideas and hands-on support to ensure every detail--from presentation to amenities--was exactly right. I truly can't say enough about how grateful I am that we chose Fulton Valley. I've attended events there before as a guest, but this was my first time hosting--and it exceeded every expectation. The food, ambiance, service, bowling lanes, and overall experience were all exceptional. I highly, highly, highly recommend Fulton Valley for any event. We booked a lane for the next day around 5pm. When we got there it was pretty empty. There were only two other couples there, but there was also like this lawyer's association happy hour event that was happening so they were occupying the bar venue space on the opposite side of the lanes. We went to our lane got set up and we got our menus. Our waitress was really nice. We asked her questions about some of the food and I ended up getting the Pork belly & corn fried oysters based on her recommendation. My boyfriend got the Strike Combo. The combo was the Smash and Grab burger + fries + Fulton alley old fashioned. It was actually a pretty good deal for just $25. The pork belly corn fried oysters were actually really good. I love pork belly and honestly it's hard to ruin pork belly because it has its own amazing natural flavor. This was an appetizer, it was cooked really nice. The corn fried oysters were really good. My favorite thing was the pickled green beans. I never had pickled green beans before but I loved it. It was a nice crunchy, tangy, and fresh pop of flavor that really brought the entire bite together with the shaved parm and creole ranch. I really enjoyed that. Definitely wanna try to re-create it on my own. The Smash & Grab burger had cheddar, bacon jam, red onion and house sauce. He did ask for no onions, but they still put a whole bunch of onions on it so he was a little disappointed because you couldn't really remove them without removing the cheese and bacon jam. But the burger was still good, it came with tons of fries. For drinks, in addition to the Old Fashioned that came with his combo my boyfriend got the Manhattan. He enjoyed both. I got the pink elephant. I love anything with gin or grapefruit and that had both so even better. The bowling alley was super clean, gorgeous full body selfie mirror in the bathroom entry, and the service was great. We had a good time.
